I bought this shampoo for 2 reasons, it smells fantastic and I wanted to try a sulfate free shampoo. It is a creamy pearly white and smells like coconut cream pie. The shampoo had no lather and left my hair feeling coated and unwashed. I am learning a deep lesson now. Price does not always spell quality. I have spent big money on John Frieds and now Organix shampoos that left hair coated and limp. I have better luck with Suave and V05.
Treatments -John Frieda - Root Awakening Health Boosting Detangling Spray

I was so excited when I heard about a new John Frieda line. I went out and bought the shampoo and this detangling spray. After washing my hair I sprayed some into my scalp and gently massaged it in like the directions stated. It detangled ok but left my hair greasy and weighed down. I use detangling sprays all the time and have never had this occur. Also, my scalp felt itchy and very irritated. I do not like this product at all. Sunsilk Thermashine detanlging spray is much better and only about 3 dollars instead of 7.

When I saw this new John Frieda line I was so happy. I love his Sheer Blonde and Volume products and my hair tends to be oily so I thought this would be refreshing. I paid almost 7 dollars for an 8 oz bottle which is crazy for a drug store product. It lathered well and had a pleasant light minty scent. My hair rinsed clean and felt very fresh. However, the next morning my hair felt horribly dry, frizzy and greasy all at once. My hair is pretty normal and never feels like this, even with cheap Suave shampoo. I expected much better from this line and my scalp even felt very irritated. I had to rewash my hair with something else. Do not buy this!

Your experience with this shampoo will vary depending on hair length and thickness. I used to have extremely thick hair that was shoulder length. I bought this becuase it smells amazing (like peaches and flowers) but it left my hair a tangled mess. I tried it again years later after cutting my hair super short into a pixie cut. It now leaves my hair fresh and shiny.
Shampoo -Alberto Vo5 - Silky Experiences - Champagne Kiss Moisturizing Shampoo

These new V05 shampoos are a well kept beauty secret. Nobody would believe me if I told them I could get a moisturizing shampoo for a dollar! This shampoo smells sexy, if that's possible, tangy and sweet like Victoria Secret's Strawberries and Champagne. (like a fizzy strawberry scent) Not only that but it is so creamy and moisturizing and does not leave the hair stripped. It uses Sodium Laureth Sulfate which is a more gentle sulfate used in expensive shampoos. It contains conditioning agents as well as protein and biotin. I am a true product junkie that uses only salon shampoos and these have them all beat. I don't know how they do it. The Moisture Milk shampoos are also great.
For Avon, this scent smells high class. Every time I wear it, people think I'm wearing a high end scent. It has a unique smell. It starts off with a sharp, peppery undertone mixed with fruit. It then fades into a clean, watery fruit scent with wonderful staying power. Also, the bottle is lovely.
When I bought this shampoo, I had a 2 dollar coupon for it making the final cost under 2 bucks. I was so annoyed with Dove as the last two shampoos I had tried made my scalp itch like mad. I was low on money, however, so I decided to give this a try. I have short, oily hair so most shine shampoos weigh me down but I was suprised. Shampoo rinsed clean leaving hair soft and squeaky clean. It has a shampoo smell that is neither fruity or floral but to me smells like amber? Hair was a tad shinier. This is the best of the new Dove shampoos. A good shampoo. I see nothing wrong with it. My scalp felt fine.
I loved the old Dove Beautifully Clean and Cucumber shampoos but these new Refresh ones irritate my scalp and cause itch. I cannot use them.
Shampoo -Dove - Energize Grapefruit and Lemongrass Shampoo

Hi! I bought this shampoo because it was dirt cheap with a coupon I had (I paid a dollar for it) and I love citrus scents. I found the scent to be very uplifting in the shower but it weighed my hair down and made my scalp itchy and dry. My cheap Suave is less drying than this! All these new Refresh shampoos dry out my scalp (Cucumber and this one) so I would reccomend the Dove Classic Clean instead. Too bad as I love the scent. :-(
This was without a doubt, my favorite shampoo of all time. It was also my grandmother, sister, and mom's favorite as well. So of course, it was discontinued. :-( It smells like a fresh peeled orange and made hair vibrant and bouncy.
This used to be one of my favorites before it was discontinued. It was a pretty peach color with a great peach/mango fruity scent. It was a natural scent but alas, it is gone!
Shampoo -Suave - Naturals Juicy Green Apple Shampoo
rosie32282 8/2/2008 12:06:00 AM
This shampoo along with the Fresh Mountain Strawberry were the staples of my childhood. My mom always kept huge bottles of this in our tub for family use. I remember how clean, soft, and shiny my hair always felt after using this before bed. And the smell was heavenly. I had been using more expensive shampoos as an adult but my hair was starting to feel weighed down and I longed for that clean feeling again. I bought this and was not sorry! Same fresh green apple jolly rancher scent with rich bubbly lather that leaves hair squeaky clean. It is a great value and a reliable product. It is not thin like the V05 shampoos but a nice thick gel. Try it!
Shampoo -Alberto Vo5 - Blueberries snd Cream Replinishing Shampoo

Man, I wish they would bring this one back! I loved the lather, the warm blueberry pie scent and the silky hair it gave. I miss this one and the peaches and cream shampoo so much!
Shampoo -Alberto Vo5 - Kiwi Lime Squeeze Clarifying Shampoo
rosie32282 7/29/2008 7:30:00 PM
I bought this on sale at my local CVS for a whopping 50 cents. :-) I have oily hair so I chose this clarifying shampoo and it worked fine. Left me with clean and soft hair without any conditioner. The scent is not my favorite V05 scent as it smells kind of fake to me but for 50 cents it works great. I actually prefer the Vanilla Mint Tea shampoo by V05 for the scent but some people might really enjoy it. The shampoo works very well.
