Love love love. Use it under the eyebrows, use it on the cheekbones, use in on the cupids bow of the lip... perfect highlighter. Leaves my clients looking fresh and dewy. Will buy over and over again.

Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel in Blacktrack

Great gel eyeliner, but not necessarily better than any of the cheaper gel eyeliners I've bought. I'm yet to see something that sets it apart from the other ones, except it's price. Good product though.

Skincare - Face -MAC - Fix+

I love this and use it on all my clients and myself once I've done their makeup just to freshen it up and give it a more dewy, natural look. It makes the makeup look less makeupy and more natural when you're done. Too bad it's so expensive for such little product. I've only had it a few weeks and I've almost ran out.

BB Cream -Garnier - BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector for Combination to Oily Skin - Light

This is much better than their first attempt which I absolutely hated! I use this everyday I can't be bothered to do my makeup properly. I just apply it with my hands as if I were applying a moisturiser and my skin looks 100x better instantly. Obviously it won't be as good as doing your makeup properly with primer/foundation/powder etc, but if you're in a rush or you don't care much, this is a great quick fix.

Makeup Brushes -Sigma - F40 Large Angled Contour

I love this brush and use it on every job I do. I personally use it to apply blush. It feels so soft and is so easy to use. The only problem is that because it's white, no matter how or how many times I clean it, it's always slightly pink from my blush but other than that it's perfect and I love it.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked Palette

I’ve talked about this before but I thought I’d write a proper review. This is the god of all eyeshadow palettes. I use this erryday, and I use it on brides on a regular basis. The colours are so beautiful, super pigmented, easy to blend, easy to put together… this palette is just amazing. Unfortunately it’s hard to buy Urban Decay in Australia as I don’t know of any stockists (and I have looked extensively) so you’ll probably have to do what I do and buy it off eBay. Just look for a seller who has great feedback and the details seem to add up to it being authentic. This palette is my favourite makeup product, and that is a big deal.

Pressed Powders -MAC - Blot Powder

I love this and have gone through two. My face always oils up during the day and this is so easy to whip out and apply quickly, and in the mornings I use it over my whole face with a powder brush. I also recommend this to Bride’s who’s makeup I do as something they should purchase and keep with them on the wedding day to get rid of any shine quickly and keep it under control. I wouldn’t recommend it for people with dry skin but for those with some oil issues who get shiny during the day, this is the best.

Primer/ Corrector -MAC - Prep + Prime Line Filler

This does pretty much nothing. There are a lot of photos on google of people putting it on their fingers and some teeny lines becoming harder to see, but you can still see the lines. I've used this twice on mature skin and I couldn't see a significant different ie any difference. I was heaps psyched when it came out and I'm really disappointed. Just another example of how we need to keep our skin in good shape and look after it because if MAC can't get rid of wrinkles, nothing can.

Liquid -Maybelline - Fit Me Foundation

While Maybelline seem to be king of mascara’s, they are definitely at the back of the pack when it comes to foundations. I used to be a massive Maybelline advocate when I was only starting out in makeup but as time went on and I tried more products, I realised Maybelline’s foundations as a whole are actually really, really bad. It doesn’t matter what shade you choose, you’re either going to look pink or some other colour that will not go away no matter how much blending you do. I really don’t like Maybelline foundations and I hope they review their ingredients and what they’re doing.

This stuff is terrible. When I first bought it I was like OMG YOU GUYS, I LOVE THIS, THIS IS GREAT. 10 hours later at the end of the day after being asked why my face looked like an oil slick about 3 times I decided it was terrible. It has very little coverage (as most do), but as I said before the Australian BB Creams are tinted moisturises. This isn’t even a tinted moisturiser. This is like oil, mixed with a drop of foundation. It made me break out and it looked gross.

Eyeliner -Maybelline - Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner

This eyeliner was my first foray into gel. I wanted to try it first to see if I liked it before I spent the big bucks, and I loved it and haven’t used liquid since! I use a different brand now but this one definitely does the job and goes on beautifully, not to mention the brush it comes with is great! To make it stay on the eyes longer/not smudge, I go over it with an eyeliner brush and some black eyeshadow to set it, the same as you set foundation with a powder. This gel eyeliner is super great and if you’re interested in giving gel a go, I recommend this.

Lip Liners -NYX - Slim Lip Pencil

I love these! I have literally every shade and I use them all of the time, on every single application of makeup I do on someone and myself. I fill the lips in then apply either a lisptick/lipgloss over the top depending on the client because when the lipstick comes away, the colour from these is still there! They come in a great range of shades, they're super cheap and they're easy to use. My number #1 lipliner so far.

Lipstick -MAC - Retro Matte - Ruby Woo

Everyone always goes on about this lipstick which is why I bought it. I love wearing reds and I thought this might be perfect. While the colour is beautiful, I find it super drying and hard to actually apply. I keep my lips moisturised/exfoliated so I know it's not my lips. Maybe I got a bad tube? I'm not sure, but I wasn't very impressed. If they could use the same colour but in a more moisturising lipstick I'd be happy.

Lip Treatments -NYX - Color Lip Balm

These are insane and I’ve recommended them before. It’s like a chapstick, with the colour of a lipstick. So basically, you can put this stuff on without even looking and end up with seriously pigmented and moisturised lips. I rarely wear lipstick whereas I have these in various pockets/handbags all the time. The colour stays really well and even if it comes off, it takes 2 seconds to reapply with ease.They’re super cheap, super easy and super cute.

I hated this. It sunk into the skin really quickly which meant I had to use 10x more than usual, it didn't smooth my skin or feel nice, and it smelt funny.
