The color is really cute in the package. On my lips though its way to metallic and gold shimmery. Disappointed I didn't try this before I bought! Really nice texture though, and moisturizing without being sticky.
Mascara -Elizabeth Arden - Double Density Maximum Volume Mascara

This has pretty much everything I look for in a mascara. 1. It doesn't clump. This is mainly because I achieved the desired effect in 1 coat. If you apply 10 coats of mascara to your lashes it will clump no matter what brand you use... 2. It stayed looking great all day and didn't flake all over my face. 3. It held the curl 4. It washed off easily in the shower with no black residue. I hate mascaras that dry out your lashes and are impossible to get off. 5. Its not too pricey. I really like this mascara. The only reason I didn't give it a rating of 5 is because diorshow is still my favorite. It makes your lashes feel so soft and smells great. *** had to edit this review because the mascara dried out really quickly and became clumpy and flaky.
Bronzers -Chanel - Bronze Universel De Chanel Sun Illuminator

I wasn't too sure how to apply this at first. Using your fingers is no good. I use a foundation brush now and I really love this product. Its buildable colour means its easy to apply and doesn't go on too dark at first. With powder bronzers I always seem to end up with dark uneven patches on my face. Its a creamy powder consistency, but goes on dry and not oily. The most natural looking bronzer I've used. The smell is lovely too, like all chanel products which is fresh and not overly perfumed. Expensive but completely worth it. I'm yet to try a chanel product that I don't like.
Foundations -Chanel - Pro Lumiere Professional Finish Make-Up ] [DISCONTINUED]

Its really easy to blend and doesn't dry too quickly. The one thing I dislike about chanel foundations is that you can really feel them on your face. They are quite creamy and never seem to really stay put as well as others. The skin on my forehead can be a bit dry sometimes, and when I put this makeup on it really shows up the dryness even though the texture is creamy and moisturizing. On the up side I have acne prone skin and wore this every day for 3 weeks and didn't get one breakout. The bottle is great too, one pump is enough for a sheer cover over my whole face. Then I usually finish it with MAC skinfinish mineral power and my face looks flawless. It lasts all day too. I think my skin even looks better at the end of the day when it melts a little into my skin and just glows. I bought this in the UK duty free for 24 pounds, which is a bargin compared to the $90+ you have to pay here in Australia. I would def re-purchase. I'm NW20 and I bought this in clair - cameo. It was a great match for my winter skin when I was overseas, but back in Australia I feel like its a bit too light on me now. I probably won't repurchase as I prefer my shiseido foundation to this one.
Moisturizers -Origins - A Perfect World Antioxidant Moisturizer

I'm in love with this moisturizer. My mum always buys me origins products from the usa, since my parents live there and I live in Australia. I've used some of their other moisturizers which can be a little greasy on my skin, but this one is perfect. My skin just sucks it right up and feels great after. I love the fresh smell too. In fact, I love the whole perfect world line. Only downside is the price! I've nearly gone through my whole jar in about 3 weeks so I checked out the price here in australia. It was $74 for 30ml / 1oz! I couldn't believe it. Its annoying that you can't buy it in a bigger tub aswell. I go through the stuff so quick. Still, I think its great.
Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)

I'm so disappointed that I didn't discover this earlier! Well I guess thats what happens when you live in Australia. O/S products like this aren't that available and can be very expensive. Think this was about $45 for 8oz. It is so worth it though. I've always had acne prone skin and eczema on top of that. So my skin is very dry and flaky if I use drying products which are usually marketed for acne prone skin. A few days after I started using this, my flaky winter skin on my forehead, which just would not go away with any amount of skin scrubs and moisturizer, suddenly disappeared! This stuff works wonders for me. My skin has never felt so soft and clear. Seriously, the worst thing you can do for acne prone skin is use harsh, drying chemical filled products on you skin. Its better to have a really simple routine with a mild cleaner and moisturizer. I've had 15 years of acne and have tried everything! This stuff is amazing.
Smells like fly spray on my skin. Horrible

Tried this in the shop today for the first time and OMG I have to have this perfume! I'm in love! Smells just like real roses, really fresh and not sickly sweet and headache inducing like a lot of sweet floral perfumes. I was scared of smelling like an old lady too, but no it is just perfect. Buying this next for sure!
Loooooooooove this perfume. Went through two bottles of this as well. great for everyday wear. Pretty much every time I wore this I'd get people asking what perfume I was wearing because they loved the smell.
This was one of my first perfumes, given to me when I was living overseas on exchange years ago. I absolutely love it and went through two bottles before I bought something else. I only stopped wearing it because a few of my friends starting wearing it as well. It has such a distinct smell that I didn't want to be smelling like everyone else. I would consider buying it again but it reminds me so much of my time overseas that I can't think about anything else when I wear it! The bottle is gorgeous and it has great staying power. Def up there with my favourite perfumes.
I tried a sample of this today in my hunt for a new perfume. I kept getting wafts of this perfume all day and have been trying to figure out what the smell reminds me of... It smells like freshly washed hair. well, at least it smells the same as the shampoo and conditioner I use. Its a pretty smell, I do like it but I'm not sure I really want my perfume to smell like shampoo.
Fragrances -Yves Saint Laurent - Young Sexy Lovely

This fragrance is ok. To me it smells a lot like Babydoll which I don't like. Its just not as sweet and smells a bit more musky. nothing original here.
Sprayed this on myself in store and instantly loved it. couldn't stop sniffing my wrist. an hour passed and i was totally regretting it! it is extremely overpowering! i sprayed one spray and i was giving me a headache. tried to scrub it off my wrist at work and could still smell it. i can't stand really strong perfumes like that. someone did comment that i smelled nice though. it was just too strong for my taste.
I got this perfume after buying the mens version for my boyfriend which i absolutely adore... i like this perfume, its different to the fruity florals i usually go for. smells sort of spicey. its very light on me though and after an hour or so i can't smell it on myself. i usually spray 3 or 4 sprays on myself and it seems to just disappear... i don't love it or hate it. i prefer to wear the mens scent! which is why i wouldn't buy it again.
Have wanted to try this for a while, and when a friend mentioned they loved it i went to the shops and tried it on myself. At first i really hated the smell, but it does dry down to quite a soft pretty smell. can't say i hated it but i wouldn't buy it. to me it smells a lot like prada tendre. i didn't like that at first either. i can't describe the smell of these perfumes but its nothing like any other perfumes i've smelt.
