Liquid -MAC - Mineralize Moisture SPF 15

I am don't know what to make of this foundation When the man in MAC applied it on me, it looked amazing and looked really nice for the rest of the day and lasted well. He used MAC Prep and Prime and some MAC Oil Controlling Moisturizer which I don't know the name of... an he just used a standard, run of the mill flat foundation brush to apply it... When he did it it was a natural looking coverage. I don't feel so impressed with it when trying it myself. Overall I give it a 3 because it looked nice with the other MAC products but is troublesome paired with or without a selection of other high end products I already own Pros *Good packaging *Decent Colour Match Cons * Hard to blend * Goes greasy very quickly * Bellow average lasting power * Expensive * Gives me weid raised bumps (not pimples, maybe really big black heads) around my nose * Only works when you go out and purchase a bunch of different MAC products to go with it

There is no beating this. It is a couple of dollars and I prefer it to the MAC liquid eyeliner or any other. It is easy to apply once your practice. It is reasonably pigmented. And it lasts about 6 hours flawlessley! Amazing product and crazy cheap

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies

It is all around an awesome Mascara, it gives the longest lashes and most voluminising effect out of any singular mascara I have tried in a long time, because I usually combine two. I also have hardly any flaking with this one. The curved wand is perfect also. And it is cheap.

Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17

This is an awesome Foundation for oily skin when used with an oil controlling primer (Such as Smashbox Photo Finish Light Primer), but I wouldn't recommend without one. It is probably still great on a normal skin type without primer. This foundation feels light, blends well, and has medium coverage and looks radiant. I have a yellow skin tone, and this foundation in N3 is the right depth in colour but is too pink for me as I couldn't try it on in the store because there were no testers. I would consider re purchasing this in a more yellow shade (as there was a really large variety in shades) used in conjunction with my mattifying primer as it is actually a really good product. It could even become my go to foundatiion given I find the correct shade. I think it is the best foundation (a little bit cheaper than revlon for something to compare it to) you can possibly get for a cheaper price bracket and I would believe someone if they told me it was a high end foundation if I didn't know otherwise..

Liquid -Smashbox - Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Fdt.

This foundation is medium-high coverage and is a relatively thick consistency. It lasts forever when applied with a primer, and looks nice for most of the day with minimal streaks and separation. However towards the mid-end of the day it really enlarges your pores and feels gross, heavy and clogging on your skin and you can't wait to wash it off. However I didn't particularly suffer any acne related to it to my knowledge. It was the perfect colour on me at first but my yellow skin tone has changed from when I brought it at the beginning of summer to halfway through summer and it is now too pink for me, even though I haven't been tanning. It also isn't as easy to blend as other foundations. I apply it with either a Real Techniques Buffing Brush (which is a flat top kabuki) or a stippling brush. It won't blend with a normal foundation brush. I think that this is a 5 star foundation to wear for special occasions like a night out where you won't be wearing it hours on end, and your face will remain flawless, but it is too heavy for a day to day basis which is disappointing because I thought to begin with that it could become my top foundation.

Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo Finish Light
rated 4 of 5

This primer confuses me so much! It is the first primer that I have ever used. I have an oily t-zone, and prior to trying primer, I would look like a hot mess by 1 or 2pm, cakey from having to powder so often, streaky from my foundation separating and somehow, still oily. Upon using this primer, I am no longer oily, and I now need to powder my face about 90% less often. My foundation goes considerably less streaky, and only really separates under my nose now which is the most common place for that to happen on anybody. I also feel like it is nice and light on my skin and doesn't clog my pores too much,, and it is also really fast drying. BUT, and there are a few buts. When I purchased this primer I was told, "oh you only need a tiny microscopic drop and it just covers your whole face." This is very unture, as I have to use about four times the amount I was specified to even get it to move across my skin, and this is after moisturizer (I literally cannot blend foundation at all on top of this primer without moisturizer). It is a very stiff formula. However the amount I was told to use could just have been salesperson lies. Also, you have to move very fast when applying foundation, and you can only apply foundation on top of it with a kabuki (buffing) or stippling brush or it just wont blend. I also find it makes it a little bit tricky to apply some concealers after foundation. I have no issues with powder, brozner or blusher with this primer however I have had liquid highlighter issues with again, blending. OVERALL, this primer does what it claims and I have never been more matte and my make up has never lasted longer or looked better towards the end of the day, baring in mind though it is the first primer I have tried. However it doesn't glide over your skin easily and make blending a lot more difficult, and applying concealer and liquid highlighter more tricky. I almost feel as though I should try the normal photo finish primer and see if it makes me matte and doesn't clog my pores without the blending issues, but don't want to buy it just a sample -_-. Anyway hope this helps you guys it is good, overall.

This is a very unique , light slightly pinky red. It stays on for ages, is pigmented and is a gorgeous colour. I also own the lipstick in Summer Breeze and Nude and love them both as well. A+

Lipstick -NYX - Matte Lipstick - Summer Breeze

I love this lipstick. It is a pure hot pink (no coral or red shades in it), which is quite unique to come across, but somehow doesn't look ridiculous on. The colour is gorgeous. It is pigmented, stays on for for ages, and is cheap! There is not much more you can ask for in a lipstick, so I would definitely recommend this!

Blush -NARS - Orgasm Blush

I wasn't crazy about this blush at first but I then I started using it more frequently and I fell in love with it. It is the most beautiful cascading, coraly pink colour. I defiantly think that it looks high end on my face as, (this is just how it appears to me), it almost has myriads of different pink and warm tones. I'm not sure that the blush even does have different tones in it, I don't have it in front of me, but this is definitely how it turns out on my skin tone. Would recommend!

Highlighters -BeneFit Cosmetics - High Beam
rated 2 of 5
romagrey 1/6/2013 3:53:00 AM

I tried BeneFit High Beam when I got the Finding Mr Bright Kit. This product just isn't working for me. Like has been mentioned bellow, when I try to apply this highlighter on my cheekbones over foundation with no powder, it removes the foundation and just leaves me with a splotchy, bare mark. When I apply powder over the top of the mark it kind of covers the mark but the highlighter is not that visible, definitely not a 'High Beam' effect :( when I apply it over powder it doesn't remove my make up but it just sits in a streak that is impossible to blend and looks really weird. I have tried applying it with fingers and a foundation brush but it is the same either way. However, I think that this liquid highlighter might not be working for me due to my mattifying primer that I use (which I don't really want to compromise on) However, being liquid it should be blend able enough to overcome this. Determined to get some use out of it, I have used it on top of Urban Decay Primer potion as an champagne look eyeshadow base and it looks nice and you can see the iridescent colour which is absolutely lovely I must say through the eyeshadow. This still isn't the use I wanted though. I love the colour of it and really want to use it if anyone can help me out feel free to contact me thanks (:

Lipstick -MAC - Viva Glam Nicki

This lipstick is stunning. It is a sublime colour for my yellow skin tone, and is also very long lasting and pigmented. Even though I have dark hair, I actually feel like barbie when I wear it which I know is a very strange thing to say, but I'm sure that others who have tried it would agree with me. It is my absolute favourite lipstick and I cannot fault it in any area... apart from maaaybe that I'm not really a big Nicki Minaj fan (Haha okay that is completely irrelevant). AMAZING
