This is the first MSF I've bought from MAC. I only got it because of the hype it was getting and I didn't want to feel like I would be missing out on something great. It is a beautiful rich coral colour with bronze veining in the pan but when applied it looks like a darker version of NARS orgasm but with more subtle gold shimmer. Stereo Rose has a nice fine consistency to it and applies very nicely, I don't have to use a light hand nor do I have to really pack it on for colour to show. I have been using it everyday for the past week and I can't decide if it really lives up to its hype. It is a pretty blush for my slightly tanned NC25 skintone but it doesn't blow me away.
I rarely ever want to re-purchase mascaras as it tends to be the one item that offers so many new choices. There's seems to be a new one out every week. This may be the only one that I will continue to purchase. For a drugstore mascara this has to be the best one I have ever used. The brush itself makes it so wonderful. It curves in and out as its shaped like 3 circular balls attached in a row. This allows me to get at inner and outer lases with ease. (Kinda like the Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes or the L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion but with the benefit of having a full wand to get the majority of your lashes too) The wand allows me to coat all lashes evenly without making certain areas too clumpy from too many coats. The formula is thickening but not clumpy and so far it has not flaked on me yet. Definitely give it a try since its so decently priced! ($9 CDN)
My HG brow pencil! For the longest time I was using a mix of carbon & copperplate to fill in my dark brows. However, my skin is on the lighter side (NC25) and it never looked right. It always ended up looking too dark. Not to mention that it would wear off super fast. I'm so glad I got this because it is the most perfect colour to fill in dark brows without it looking to dramatic or heavy. The wax in the formula is great for holding stray brows in place as well as making it last longer than a powder. There's also a kind of dimension that the pencil formula gives that I was never able to achieve with eyeshadows. Powders just look flat on skin while the wax looks textured on skin and as it grabs onto brow hairs as well. Can't say enough about this pencil! Try it!
I try to only wash my hair every other day. On days I don't wash I used to use Ojon dry shampoo which is horrible in comparison to TreSemme. The smell is so awful and it lingers all day although the product itself doesn't keep hair clean for more than an hour. Plus it was way pricier than TreSemme. I tried the TreSemme dry shampoo first on a very hot day (35 degrees C) I was really impressed. The smell is light and fruity and my hair felt clean throughout my long hot day. Also there was no white residue like I used to see with Ojon. The packaging is great too. The nozzle doesn't clog and it sprays a nice fine mist. Would recommend.
I had looked all over for this product. Sephora always seemed to be sold out. When I finally got my hands on it I was excited to try it out as instructed on the package. After a week of using it before bed I developed an eye infection. My eyes became very red and itchy. My eyelid also became swollen and did not fully heal until months later. During that time my eyelids were not symmetrical as one crease was lower than the other eye. Not sure why that was or why it took so long to sort itself out but it was a real pain. I ended up returning the product and will never use another eyelash growth supplement. (Tried Talika as well and again my eyes got infected) Would caution people towards these products.
I have been wanting to try this blush for so long since everyone talks about it. It lives up to the hype, really does give that natural flushed look. The bright matte red colour only looks intimidating in the pan. A little touch on the brush goes a long way and would look beautifully natural on all skin tones. I use the NARS yachiyo brush for a flawless application. I used to love NARS orgasm but I find that I have to use much more to build up colour on my NC25 skin and the sparkles end up all over my face. From now on I'll be only reaching for exhibit a.
I have NC25 skin with dark hair and dark eyes and this is a beautiful deep rich red colour on me. I absolutely love this and had to buy a backup right away. The formula is not dry at all for a matte and has no smell which is awesome. This deeper red creates a nice sultry retro look for people with darker features. Huge Bonus: Makes teeth look whiter!
Amazing staying power! I use this to brighten my eyes by applying to my waterline. It stays on really well throughout the day when no other liner can deal with my sensitive watery eyes. I even slept with it on and it was intact 3hrs later. The colour is so great for a natural look and I hope MAC will bring more colours into the collection. Definitely recommend as its such a special product.

I like using this for setting my foundation as its very finely milled. No matter how heavy I apply it on it never looks cakey. The powder completely disappears and makes your skin look more matte without being obviously powdery. I only wish that its lasting power was a bit better. I find myself having to blot or re-touch my face only3-4 hours later. Despite that I will repurchase it again.
Love this colour! Its a beautiful khaki colour with an olive undertone in a cream finish. The formula is a little streaky though and dries quickly.
Just found a lovely nude for my NC25 skintone. Looks darker in the tube but on the lips its a very pretty peachy nude that doesn't make me look like I have concealer lips. The formula is a little dry (satin) though but I can live with that.
I'm really loving MAC lipsticks right now. This colour is a bright fuschia that looks intimidating but so gorgeous on. I thought I would be too fair (NC25) to pull it off but it works. Since its limited edition...I think some great dupes for it from MAC would be Show Orchid, or Full Fuschia.
I bought this to combat dryness and to make lipstick last longer. The MA at the counter said it contained paraffin which would fill in the lines of my lips making lipstick look better. It didn't do that at all...the fine lines on my lips are still very noticeable after using this. I did follow what other reviewers have said about waiting for the primer to become tacky before applying lipstick. No luck with this product aside from keeping my lips a little moist. Will not be repurchasing.
This is so wonderful for contouring. Its a nice muted brown with reddish undertone which is great because it doesn't look dirty or muddy. For reference I am an NC25. Its so finely milled making it so easy to blend. I never get harsh lines like I used to when I used the Bare Esscentuals warmth mineral powder. I would definitely recommend this...I think it would work for NC/NW 40 and under complexions.
I like using this as a highlighter for the brows, cheeks, and down the nose. Its a very universal pearl sheen that would work on anyone. I also like the simple packaging because I like to be able to use my fingers for highlighting instead of brushes. I can just swirl my finger in the compact and get the amount of product I want for a fast application. The colour is very subtle which I like.
