These are my new favorite HG lip glosses. Finally, I have found my perfect basic pink lip gloss. Don't be fooled by the swatch on the Jouer web site or how the color appears in the tube ... which looks like a very bright, almost fushia pink. In fact, I went back-and-forth as to whether or not to order it from the Jouer web site. Soooo glad I decided to take the plunge. This gloss is a very pretty shade of pink, like the true color of a pink peony flower, with a little milky touch to it ... almost looks like light pink bubble gum but not BRIGHT BRIGHT. I have fairly pigmented lips and the gloss muted them a bit, which is what I was hoping for. Usually when I put on a pink gloss, my natural lip color intensifies it and distorts the true color. The only misgiving I have is that it is a creme and glosses with a touch of shimmer compliment and brighten my complexion. I remedied this by ordering the Glace shade and mixing it with the Peony. First I apply a bit of Glace gloss to my lips then apply the Peony on top of it. Now I have the perfect pink with a pretty gold shimmer. I posted a review for the Glace shade, if you'd like to read it.
I'm really loving Jouer lip glosses. Glace is a very pretty pure gold shimmer in a clear gloss. I love, love, love gold shimmer in my colored lip glosses, so I got this shade to blend with a Jouer creme shade to give it a subtle gold shimmer. It works wonderfully! It does not add color, just a beautiful golden touch. Jouer has so many pretty shades that include shimmer but there are also some really pretty creme shades that I'd like to have a little shimmer with. All of the Jouer glosses are so lovely and the texture so perfectly light feeling, also, my lips stay nice and moist (I have very dry lips). I find these glosses look and wear much, much better than Chanel glossimers. These are the only glosses I will be wearing for a long time. Jouer has great customer service and my orders arrive promptly and nicely packaged ... I order from the Jouer web site.
Tinted Moisturizer -Jouer - luminizing moisture tint

OH MY MY Ö this is a beautiful luminizer! I received two shades of the Luminizing Moisture Tint as samples when I ordered a blush and lip gloss from the Jouer web site. After I used the samples, I immediately ordered the full size. Iíve never been able to wear products like this as they tend to be too shiny and glowy, sink into my pores, etc., but this beneath a light dusting of my mineral powder foundation looks truly amazing. After my morning skincare routine, I dot a few small drops of this product all over my face, under my eyes and on my eyelids then blend softly with a foundation brush. Then I apply the rest of my makeup (mineral powder foundation, finishing powder, blush, eye makeupÖ.) and the results are the most healthy glow and beautiful skin Iíve seen in the mirror in quite a while. Be sure to start with just a few touches at first then build from there, depending on the look youíre going for. As the day goes on my face just looks even better, something Iíve also noticed with my other Jouer products. The shades Iíve used (and love) are Opal and Pearl Ö Iím very fair and both work great on me. I think Iíve fallen in love with Jouer and with this product in particular.
This is my first Jouer blush and I must say I LOVE IT. The formula is such a finely milled, silky, sheer powder ... the color looks extremely, almost shockingly bright!! in the container, but it goes on as such a beautiful true pretty pink. It is wonderfully sheer with no sparkles or shimmer. The color is buildable, but I love it because it can look so delicate and sheer on my very fair complexion ... also, really freshens and brightens my face. This particular blush will practically last me forever, as it takes such a light touch of it on my brush to give me perfectly delicate pink cheeks. I will definitely be trying many other Jouer products.
I'm rating this lipstick low because of the shade/color, not the quality. I was so looking foward to receiving this lipstick based on the color swatch and description on the Jouer web site. Alas, the color was a major disappointment. I'm very fair with blond hair and love pretty pink lipstick, especially when it has a touch of gold. The description of the lipstick was "shimmering gold pink", however it is really a fairly deep rose with lots of shimmer (sort of bronzy more than gold). It even went to a bronzy peachy-rose when I put it on. There was no trace of pink on my lips. Also, the shimmer seemed to overpower the color. Maybe it was just my chemistry. I immediately returned it for a refund. That being said, the formula was nice but the shimmer was a bit heavier than I expected and the color didn't work for me. I will probably order a different shade, as I do like the other products in this line. This was my first Jouer lipstick.
Lipstick -Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics - Lip Tar

I purchased the Lip Tar in Hush. This product did not work for me. The consistency was a bit too thick/opaque (no matter how little I used) and the color turned a sort of peachy pink on me ... I thought it would be more of a true light pink. Anyway, this line is just not my cup of tea, but others seem to like it.
Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Bottega Veneta Eau de Parfum

Absolutely GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS soft leathery delicate floral chypre scent, with a beautiful soft touch of wood ... I purchased the entire line of products. It has so many beautiful layers, you really must wear it a bit to let it fully develop on you. However, I loved it the minute I smelled it from the bottle, then even more and more as I wore it. The perfumer, Michel Almairac, is one of my favorites and creator of so many remarkable scents, so you may want to explore his other fragrances also. *** I kept thinking how familiar this scent is to me, then it struck me. It smells very much like a more complex version of the Thymes, Ltd. Lavender fragrance (at least to me). So, just a tip to those who love this fragrance but find it a bit pricey for your budget, you might want to try Thymes, Ltd. Lavender collection, at a fraction of the price.
Blush -Lancome - Blush Subtil Sheer - Sheer Amourose

Very pretty, natural sheer blush ... probably the best texture and shade I've ever found for everyday beautiful natural cheeks. I've been pretty devoted to Chanel blushes in the past, but have had a hard time finding a truly natural shade for my very fair complexion. Not too pink, but not peachy. Peachy pinks tend to turn orange or muddy-looking on me. This is truly the perfect HG blush for most skin tones . It is matte, but is beautifully sheer and not dry looking.
Gorgeous shade of YLBB. I also have Boy and love both shades as well as this formula. The only thing better would be if these lip shines contained SPF. Oh well, can't have it all. The lip shines go on so beautifully smooth and semi-sheer. As of late I've just been wearing lip glosses, but I will be switching to these. You can reapply them discreetly without a mirror, no fuss, no muss, but your lips will be truly pretty. This particular shade stayed on after a meal and drinking a glass of wine. There are many other gorgeous looking shades, which I will be trying too. But, Bel-Ami is a must for everyone!
A much too bright, blue-undertoned pink for my fair complexion. I ordered it online without trying it first which turned out to be a big mistake. The color looks a bit unsophisticated compared to other shades I have tried in this line. I also ordered the Tea Rose lipgloss, which is also too bright and a very bubblegum shade of pink (opaque gloss with no shimmer). I love other shades in this line, but this particular shade is definitely not for me or worthy of its price. I rated it a 2 because of the color. I have the Cameo and Cameo Pink lipsticks and lipglosses, which are both beautiful shades that I wear regularly ... and have received many compliments on both. Just a tip ... the best web sites to view the colors are Burberry.com and naturalnchicmakeup.blogspot.com (the best site). On the Nordstrom's web site, the colors are really off.
This is the second Burberry lipgloss I've purchased. I do love the first one I purchased, Cameo Pink, but am not a fan of Tea Rose. Tea Rose is an unsophisticated very bright, bubblegum pink shade with a somewhat opaque matte texture. It is especially bright on me since I am very fair. I ordered it online without first trying the color ... big mistake. I thought it would be a softer, more natural pink but it is really bright on me. I ordered it with the No. 8 Tea Rose lipstick, which is a deeper, bright bluish pink that also did not work for me. I'll stick with my first Burberry purchases, Cameo Pink lipgloss and lipstick, as both are truly pretty natural somewhat light pink shades that wear beautifully either alone or together. I've received many compliments when wearing them. Just a tip ... the best web sites to view the colors are Burberry.com and naturalnchicmakeup.blogspot.com (the best site). Miracle cream! My esthetician recommended I use this cream post-peel. Also, I was experiencing some type of seasonal rash/itching on my face. Wow ... this cream will sooth away anything that is irritating your face!! It is pricey but a little goes a long way. I will ALWAYS have this on hand as one of the very few HG products I swear by. The texture of the cream is very light so it goes on very smoothly and leaves absolutely no greasy residue. I can wear it under my mineral makeup with no problem. Anyone who gets facials, peels or has any type of skin irritation should try this product. You won't be sorry. Love, love, love it!
The color is a tad more pink than beige, which works well on me since I'm very fair. However, if you're looking for a more true nude, this may not be the pencil for you. I'd definitely try before buying. It wears well with the lighter pinks, but you may want to go with the No. 2 Dusty Rose if you wish to pair a liner with the deeper and/or rosey pinks in the collection. Also, the No. 3 Sepia or No. 6 Nutmeg would be a better choice for medium-to-dark blondes, brunettes, etc. The liner goes on ever so smoothy, wears beautifully and has great staying power. Just a tip ... the best web sites to view the colors are Burberry.com and naturalnchicmakeup.blogspot.com (the best site). On the Nordstrom's web site, the colors are really off.
So-so somewhat plainish brown ... nothing special to warrant the price. Goes on fairly smoothly and has okay staying power. I'd by-pass Burberry's eyeliners and spend my $$ on other products in the line, such as the gorgeous eyeshadows.
I have finally found my HG of natural pink blush. The texture is so silky and sheer. The color is such a beautiful, natural shade of pink ... truly the color of pink peonies. The blush gives you a pretty flush of natural color with exceptional wear. It does not settle into my pores, as many powdered blushes do which often leads to a powdery/cakey look. I cannot believe how it gives your face that glowing-from-within flush of color. It is sheer matte shade that still somehow makes your face appear luminous. And oh what gorgeous packaging!
