I have very pale skin -- a mixture of cool and warm undertones, (like NC/W10/15) and I have a really hard time finding foundation that doesn't look horrible on my face. I decided to give Lancome a shot, one of the only major makeup brands I've never tried. At first, I loved this foundation. The color match was perfect, the finish was nice and natural, and the coverage was just right (medium). It looked great and was very easy to blend. However, the day after I wore it for the first time, I broke out HORRIBLY. Like, embarrassingly bad. I figured it was just hormones and tried it again a few days later, after letting my skin breathe. Same thing happened the day after my second time wearing it. If this foundation works for you, I'm super jealous. It has literally destroyed my skin after just two uses. So glad I can return it to Sephora!

Moisturizers -Cetaphil - Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF15

I have loved Cetaphil products for years (especially the thicker moisturizing creme), but this is absolutely horrible. As others have stated, it burns, tastes and smells disgusting, is hard to wash off, and makes my face look like an oil slick. I expect better from such a reputable brand!

Moisturizers -MAC - Moisturelush Cream [DISCONTINUED]

I have combination skin (dry t-zone and cheeks, oily nose and chin), but in the winter, my skin is a dry flaky mess. I was excited to try Moisturelush (other moisturizers tend to look greasy on my skin), and loved it for the first three days. After that, I began to break out all over my face (in places I NEVER break out). Even though Moisturelush made my foundation adhere super easily, I cannot recommend a product that has wreaked such havoc on my skin. Awful.

Hair Styling Tools -Farouk CHI - Chi Ceramic Flat Iron by Farouk

after reading so many positive reviews on this site and elsewhere, i decided to finally throw down $130 and give the chi a try. i really do not understand what is so great about this straightener - it left my hair feeling (and looking!) like straw, AND the metal plates totally dented my hair! i returned it less than two hours after buying it. bottom line: overhyped and awful!
