Toners -Clean & Clear - Deep Cleaning Astringent (orange)

Used sparingly this product is great for my generally zit free face. I used it almost daily at night and once I woke up during the hot, summer sweaty months. During the rest of the year I use it when I have a break out or after a work out. It dries out and eliminates my pimples and I see great results within 24 hours. It does have the tendency to dry your skin, so use moderately.

Eyeliner -L'Oreal - HIP Color Truth Cream Eyeliner in Black

The color, consistency, and staying power is fabulous, but there are cons. The brush that comes with it is stiff and really a hindrance. I went to Sephora and bought a Sephora brand gel liner brush which works wonderfully and makes thinner lines. I do use this almost every day, but the product has dried so much even though there is a lot left. I'm still on the fence about buying it again, but I loved it while it was still workable.

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
rieradom 10/5/2010 11:24:00 PM
I never used to wash my face as there wasn't ever really a need. I didn't wear that much makeup, and even when I did it didn't affect my skin. I rarely break out, and if I do it's a zit or two that are barely noticeable. I always felt a little bit awkward being the person that never washes their face. That being said I felt like I needed to begin taking better care of my skin, and I also needed just a basic, no frills, facial cleanser. Many things dry out my skin, so having heard of Cetaphil and reading the "gentle" in the packaging I decided to try it out. I love it. Once you get beyond the semen like consistency of it it really is a nice product. I use the waterless application (I rub the product into my skin and wipe off with a cotton pad) and then follow up with the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream. I have always received compliments on my skin, but I get them even more after having begun my Cetaphil regimen.

Moisturizers -Cetaphil - Moisturizing Cream
rieradom 10/5/2010 11:11:00 PM
My first year living in the East Coast really dried out my delicate face skin to the point that my mother was horrified when she saw me. I had always used daily SPF moisturizers, but I really needed something else. I had heard good things about Cetaphil so I decided to try it out (confession: I do buy the generics, they're really basically the same). This has done wonders for my skin. I apply it daily, in the mornings after a shower, and at night, both times after having used a cotton square with the Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser on it. It has restored my soft skin, and my boyfriend always comments on how soft my skin is I also am only about 1/2 way through a tub I bought over a year ago! A con is that in the harsh, harsh winter I feel that while the dry skin relief is instant it doesn't last, and I need to re-apply frequently.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Extra Volume Collagen Mascara (waterproof)

I switched from another L'Oreal product, Voluminous, because I wanted to mix things up. I always use waterproof mascara, so I was excited to see this product. I have AMAZING results. I always curl my lashes, but this mascara holds my curl like none other. I will often sleep in my mascara and wake up to the same amount of curl I had when I first did my make up. While it can clump, I always take time to apply and wipe off some of the excess product. My lashes are ridiculously long and thick, they almost look fake! I will probably buy this again.
