I got this at a drug store while it was on a 20% sale. Having previously tried their high coverage LF and was moderately pleased with it, i decided to venture into kate's LP. I bought the one with the slight shimmers.Love it! The powder is very lightly scented, hardly detectable and the shimmers is noticeable but definitely nothing loud or over the top. It just makes your skin looks smooth and refined. My only gripe is its oil control. It makes you oily in a couple of hours but this is easily solved by a simple touch-up of another sheer layer of it. The packaging( a small tub) allows you to slip it into your cosmetic pouch! For the price, as compared to my previous anna sui, i will definitely repurchase! =)

I have pinned high hopes on this foundation after reading so many raves about it. When i first applied it on my face, I'm satisfied with its medium buildable coverage and how it has a slight radiant glow. However, I have expected more from this product. It was not exceptional in its texture as compared to other liquid foundations nor is its nude mattey finishing particularly pretty. Its oil control is average too ( so u get abit shiny after say 4-5 hours) . Sighs. Has this became one of the mediocre LFs i own? Perhaps i should experiment with it more =)
Pros: - lends a matte yet glowy finishing - evens pores really well, makeup is smooth -it is super lightweight -it looks natural -OC-C is match on for my nc 20-25 skin Cons: - coverage is not enough -Lasting power not that good - bottle looks cheap ( but portable!)
Liquid -Guerlain - 'Lingerie de Peau' Invisible Skin-Fusion Foundation

Pros: Adheres very well to the skin superb blendability, no cakiness when layered looks very natural Oil control is surprisingly good Cons: Sheer to medium coverage though slightly buildable poor colour match ( 02 is way too dark for me while 01 is too light) minimal glow ( I prefer a slightly more glowy look) Expensive like all other guerlain LFs! Bulky ( classy?) bottle I think I prefer Parure series ( Aqua/Extreme). Oh and i suspect it clogs pores!
after hearing so many raves about this foundation and having so many people urging me to give it a try, i decided to jump on the bandwagon! And i was really hesistant at first at whenever i swatched it in the drugstores, the colour( too pinkish looking because the lightest shade in my country is sand beige), the thick creamy messy consistency and the smell puts me off. But i took a plunge and got it. I tried it on my face and im surprised by these things : its good coverage, its creamy texture which doesnt accentuates pores, and how it is not dead matte like EL DW. Altho this hasnt reach HG status for me, i have been using it most often as compared to my other LFs. However, i will be happier if my country can bring in more shades and revlon can include a pump!!
First, I have to say that the bottle really looks classy yet it is very heavy. I mix shade 03 and 31 together to get my shade and i apply it by dabbing onto my entire face which is rather time consuming but this prevents a cakey look if i were to rub and blend it into my skin. At first, i was disappointed at how matte this is, yet after trying it a few time, i can see the sheen and the glow to the face. Its coverage is medium to full i would say. it covers my acne scars but it does accentuates pores a little. A big put off is that it breaks me out along the jawline and turns greyish after oxidation although i did set it with a primer.
When i rate the price as "rather expensive", it is actually in comparison to other drugstore products. I invested in healthy mix last week after seeing all the favourable reviews on the net, i guess if it does deliver good results and can be my HG, i would have saved quite abit from high-end ones. However, it turns out to me that it is a mediocre foundation. The radiance is not really great, nor its staying power nor coverage ability. Its coverage is medium at most, no matter how i build it, it is not layerable. I realise it starts to cake or melt after a few hours ( i have only worn it at most 6 hours) and leaves my face an oily mess. This is rather disappointing and although the packaging is convenient, it does look dirt cheap =(

I love the finishing of this foundation. seriously prior to this whatever foundation im using which claims to deliver whatsoever glow just disappoints me! but this, i can see my face glowing ( not dewy at all but its like certain parts of ur face reflects light and just makes u radiant and not dead matte) seconds after application! it is not full coverage but buildable, i just dab some mac studio finish over some stubborn acne marks and set with anna sui LP in 02 with slight shimmers. its oil control is so-so, hence i touch up a couple of times, but its bearable. the texture is lovely as well. i cannt stop checking myself out in the mirrors at the malls today =)

Im caught in a dilemma because i love how lightweight this feels, like i not wearing anything at all and how it erases my flaws and makes my skin look radiant in mirrors and natural. However, it gives me small bumps allover my right cheek and that puts me off. I hate to admit this cos i really love this stuff and its finishing =) btw, i do not agree that its full coverage unless u keep dabbing it over the blemishes, however, its a good medium coverage. the bottle and the pump is very hygienic too.
Initially upon application, i did not notice the immediate shrinking of my pores and was a bit disappointed. However, when i applied my liquid foundation over it, it seemed flawless and not too matte, with a hint of soft glow. I did notice that my oily face was kept relatively matte 12 hours out shopping with my bf!
Liquid -Shu Uemura - Face Architect Smoothing Fluid Foundation

This foundation really blends like a dream, i do not have perfect skin, and my skin is abit uneven and rough at some areas but it really is super blendable! Fuss free and really offers you the liberty to adjust the coverage to a full one if needed, i am really pleased with the coverage over my acne scars using my finger tips. ( I think using a sponge offers a sheerer coverage as the SA tried with a sponge on me in the boutique). Its finishing is definitely not matte but offers a glow ( not oily, but sheen). It doesnt cake up on me as much as doublewear too! It feels like second skin, oh-so-natural! However, i think the oil control is not that fantastic as i wore i to club and five hours later, perhaps with the sweating, there was some oxidation and i looked oily. However, i like the texture, really smooth yet definitely not mask-like! Im wearing 754 =) I am surprised that the coverage i get by applying with my fingertips is actually comparable to doublewear although DW wins by a margin =) Great shu product! edit: this foundation literally floats on the face and transfers onto everything =(
I have gotten a generous sample of this in shade sand( im MAC NC30) and was really looking forward to using this as there are so many raves about its amazing coverage and how it makes one feel confident =) Bearing in mind that it might be quite thick,i applied light-handedly with my fingers, it dries pretty fast but i think i manage to acheive the right blend on my skin. the coverage is really amazing( i have acne scars and some uneven skin tone), and i just have to dab some spot concealer. I think the coverage ability is due to the fact it is quite thick in consistency and not runny at all. I then set it with lucidity loose powder in light. this is the first time i go out shopping feeling my skin actually is "not that bad, with a tinge of healthy glow".the only complaint i have is that it might look cakey under my eye are and where there are small bumps on my cheeks and its smell is quite bad ( like some paint IMO). overall i think if u have rather okay skin and not much acne scars, u cold easily achieve a flawless look with this foundation=) and, the price isnt that steep too! =)
im afraid this has caused me much disappointment and will not be on my "buy again" list. i contemplated long before buying this, reading reviews after reviews. and the only good thing i have to say is that its powder is really fine and its good, probably the best in the market at oil control. however, the finishing is way too matte (really extreme!) for my liking and makes my skin looks sallow and dull. initially i thought i look like a ghost when im already using beige cendre with very yellow undertone. maybe i should get the mat lumiere refill next time but right now, im just disappointed =(
i got a 30 ml sample of this from MAC. and i must say it does a nice job in adding that bit of sheen to my matte foundations and it refreshes my face when i feel im oily. also, my boyfriend says my face smells nice and sweet upon spraying and he likes it! Lol. on days out shopping or date, i would definitely use this and chuck my evian facial spray aside. however, do rmb not to spray too much as it imparts a slightly "oilier" aftermath feel as compared to evian =)
