This is a very nude colour with a glossy finish. It is actually quite moisturizing as well. I usually wear this colour when I have on a bold eye or on those very neutral to no makeup days. With summer approaching, I know I will be running out soon and will be repurchasing for sure! There is a very light scent to this but i personally like it. The 3/5 rating is due to the fact that the wear of this lipstick does not last very long and needs reapplication a several times throughout the day. And also because of the tacky Ed Hardyesque packaging.

I have a light -medium skin tone and found this colour way too light for my skin. I've never been a fan of the pale lips look and so this was a horrible look for me. Aside from the colour, the lipstick itself was very creamy and does not last every long. Not only this but even the smallest imperfection on the lip is amplified and made 20 times more noticeable.

Eye Shadow -Annabelle - Haute Chocolate Trio Eyeshadow

I love that these colours can be worn everyday as a neutral look OR as a gorgeous smoky eye. It is the perfect palette for the beginner make up user or the seasoned make up artist. The colour payoff is amazing especially for such a cheap price! I have an olive skin tone in the summer and am a bit more fair year round and regardless of what tone my skin is, this trio works amazing on my face. I can see how this would compliment someone with very fair skin and blue eyes would just POP with these colours. Amazing palette, the colour payoff is amazing and therefore I never need a huge amount of eyeshadow. For that reason, although I definitely would if need be, I don't see myself having to buy more any time soon.

I purchased this product from Winners and therefore was unable to test the product first. So I purchased it purely because of how great La Lune turned out. It happened to be on sale for about $35 so I figured hey, why not! Well! here's why: It smells like grandmother's perfume. I understand it is meant to be unisex, but it is just too manly for my taste. In my opinion it smells like aftershave mixed with vanilla, so a sweet aftershave. It's not nauseating in my opinion, just very strong. Because this is a very strong and intense smell if you DO plan on purchasing it, I recommend wearing it very lightly and it is most definitely as a night time scent. It also last very long on the skin. Unfortunately I have the 100mL bottle and I don't think it will be finishing any time soon as I will reach for La Lune time and time again over this scent, especially with summer right around the corner.

I love this scent! I happened to stumble over it when I worked at Winners. I couldn't test it out so I spent my $40 dollars based completely on reviews from MUA and you guys did NOT fail me! I personally think for such an elegant smell the simplistic elegance of a plain rectangular bottle is perfect. So I have no complaints about packaging for THIS scent. However, the fact that the packaging for the entire line is the same is disappointing. The name La Lune which translates to "the moon" is romantic in my opinion, and the fact that this is a unisex eau de toilette makes it all the more romantic as you can share it with your beau. The scent itself works very well on my skin and smells floral, elegant, light and clean. This is an amazing perfume for a workplace (as many other reviews suggest) or even to university (which is where I myself wear it). It is a great everyday perfume, but can also be worn out.

This was my signature scent for many many years (about 5) which means I absolutely loved it. I noticed I received many compliments especially from male friends or from my boyfriend all the time. One of my friends in particular became so fond and familiar with my signature smell he told me he smelt another woman wearing it and his first thought was "Impostor!" The perfume itself is very fun and flirty it is a very youthful scent which is probably why it was my signature scent in high school through early university. It is definitely a smell made for the younger generation as there is nothing about this scent that says "grandma's perfume". The perfume is pretty strong and so anything more than 2 sprays is overkill as it lasts the whole day as well. It's vibrant, it's refreshing, it's floral and even the bottle is fun! I've gone through 2 bottles and just ran out of my third a few months back and have been wearing la lune by D&G until I have a second to run out and find some more Live. I used to find it at Winners pretty often and I knew Wal-Mart always carried it but unfortunately it has become hard to find the original Live and not the variations of it. I highly recommend this perfume for the young and young at heart!

Lip Treatments -eos - Smooth Sphere Organic Lip Balm in Honeysuckle Honeydew

I initially purchased this product because I had seen so many reviews on it and so much praise had been spoken of it. I absolutely love honeydew and knew this was the scent for me! The packaging is adorable. Its moisturizing while it's on, and it smells yummy the whole time (taste good too if you happen to lick your lips). It has a buttery consistency and does in fact live up to the company name "Evolution of Smooth". However! this is not meant to heal chapped lips but rather, simply to keep them smooth and moisturized. My favourite is still burt's bees or plain old vaseline for it's healing properties of severely chapped lips. It is completely colourless which is awesome and it gives your lips a very light sheen. It doesn't last very long so you will find yourself constantly reapplying it to maintain the moisture. The shape of the balm itself is cute as it covers bigger lips with just one swipe as well. Overall for the price of about 4 CAD its not bad at all but I will most likely stick to my Nivea or Burt's Bees lip balms instead.
