I have sensitive acne prone skin. Right now, after going to the dermatologist it is much better but it is quite dry around the mouth area. So I decided to get a little boost with this product since my mom swears by it. It is very soothing and hydrates very well. However, after about 4 weeks I started noticing white bumps around my mouth area. Since this is the only product I have added, I suspect that this is the culprit.
Foundations -Elizabeth Arden - Flawless Finish - Mousse Makeup

This is the worst foundation I have ever tried. I really wanted to like it after all the rave reviews. but oh my gosh. First of all, the counter did not have my color. and tried to match a dark dark color to me. (i asked an asian woman to help me because I'm asian. so i tried to trust her) They convinced me. I tried it the next morning over my entire face and I looked like I was sick. It was a purplish color (and I have a normal to pale complexion) So I decided I would exchange the color but left the foundation on to see how my skin reacted. About 30 minutes later my skin started to burn and itch. It took about 3 cotton pads to wipe off all the makeup from my face. I splashed a bunch of cold water over my face to get the pain to lessen.
Foundations -Vincent Longo - Liquid Canvas "Dew Finish Foundation"

I really really wanted to like this product...because i use the Vincent Longo water canvas..I was actually looking for something with a bit more moisture than the water canvas..The first thing I noticed about this foundation was the lovely smell...vanilla like..it also has a beautiful finish. However, even though I slathered on layers of lotion..my skin still felt dry and even a bit more tight than with the Water Canvas. So, I guess I'll stick to Bobbi Brown moisture rich foundation for now..It's a bit oily, but at least I know it won't contribute to wrinkles. Perhaps this is good for someone with really healthy skin without dry patches.

Well I actually got this as a small sample from Sephora. The bottle being very cute and the smell being pleasant I was expecting good results. As a precaution I tried this on my hand first..Oh my gosh...It's literally like butter...and not in a good way....more like lard.. I would never buy this..
I have very mixed opinions on this product. On the one hand, I love the finish...Flawless...and everyone always comments on my skin after this.. However, recently going to the dermatologist..I've had dry skin...not on the outside...(a bit of shine on the outside) but around the mouth area I always feel a bit dry...So I didn't use this last year and switched to bobbi brown moisture rich foundation...However, during the summer I found bobbi brown to be a bit too much...so I switched back to vincent longo water canvas....I noticed that my mouth felt tight when laughing and talking but I kind of ignored it..after about 4 months of using vl I've been noticing wrinkles around my mouth! It's quite scary and I'm trying to alleviate myself by putting the bobbibrown foundation just around my lip lines and vl everywhere else...So I just bought vl dewy foundation...we'll see how that goes
This product dried my skin to the point that i had lines around my mouth...would never use this again..also i broke out to this product...very very disappointed with this ddf product
ok..so i originally bought this from drugstore.com because my dermatologist recommended it by saying it's possibly the best vitamin c serum out there...however, when i got it from drugstore.com it looked a bit brownish orange...i didn't know this was bad and put it on my face...i got started getting lines around my mouth and under my eyes!!! but because my skin was getting lighter(acne scars) i kept putting it on...but my face got so dry that my dermatologist said to stop using it. then when my skin got better i used it only once a week. i recently bought it again at sephora.com and found out that it's supposed to be pretty clear...the drugstore.com one must have been very old. i put it on and then finished with a kanebo collagen mask to hydrate my skin...my skin feels very tight but at the same time very dry...but it seems to lighten my skin at the same time which i like alot...but my skin feels so dry...i hope im not contributing to wrinkles...

I love this stuff...got a sample(one pack) from my dermatologist...one little pack lasts a whole week!!at first is was hard to get used to the crushed sugar like texture...however, it is very gentle and gets the job done without any added shine. the only downside is that it's hard to tell if you got it on evenly..and hard to tell how much is ok to use
Great stuff...great for cooling down my skin after out in the sun..I got this after my mom told me her friends used it...Mine was in a red and white box...5 packs in one box...I save the pack to use the remains as a serum for the next day..It is not a whitening mask but for some reason makes my skin lighter after using it!(not complaining) and most importantly doesn't break me out..i love this stuff..lovelovelove. It's also great after using cellex c products because the c serum tends to dry out my skin and my dermatologist used to put a collagen mask after my vitamin c treatment..(but the dermatologist's collagen mask costs 75 bucks a pop!) anyways..this stuff is a miracle.
this dries out my skin so much. smells good though. don't let the 'it's all natural" slogan reel you in...who cares if it's natural if it's gonna ruin your skin right?

oh my goodness...i bought this when i was young and naive...the saleslady told me this was perfect for my sensitive skin blahblah...boy...i don't know what i was thinking...this stuff stung my eyes stung my face...basically about 5 years ago i spent a couple hundred dollars on clarins products...the combo skin line.. it initially made my skin matte...but after changing skin lines(this gave me serious skin problems) my skin type changed from combination to oily(it dried all the moisture from my face!!) so my conclusion is: clarins is yucky
agh...after all the hype and paying sooooooooooooooo much for this product...i was expecting alot..i really wanted to like this..and my skin felt good the day i had it on....it was the next day....broke out into a ton of little pimples....my acne just cleared up and now this...gonna be more careful about what i put on my face now...eek..i'm gonna have to save up for another trip to the dermatologist..geesh

Great product! the cap seems to get water in it when i keep it in the shower but other than that..it's really really gentle on my sensitive skin...absolutely NO irritation..I use it after my Dr. Belter Cleanser. a bit expensive tho...about 18 bucks a tube!
