Liquid -Shu Uemura - Face Architect Smoothing Fluid Foundation

I'm not a fan of foundation in general. I hate how it clogs pores, looks obvious, and hides the natural radiance and texture of skin. That being said, as I get older, I notice I'm needing to cover areas on my face that are starting to get a little blotchy. On a whim, I took home a sample of this foundation that a nice Shu Uemura gal made up for me at Nordstroms. The foundation has a seemless silky application, does NOT settle into lines or pores making them look worse. In fact, quite the opposite. My skin looks finished, perfected and not obvious that I've got make up on at all. The coverage is natural, but adjustable. Which is perfect for what I'm looking for. I have combo skin with sensitive/break out tendancies, and this foundation does not irrate or b/o my skin at all. I'm so very impressed with this product and will most def. be buying this again and again!!

I've had an over all positive experiance with this cream. I'm in my mid 30's, with sensitive combination skin that breaks out. Not fun times. I have the hardest time finding products that can perform, and be tolerated on my skin. When I first tried this cream it was true love. I had found my 'Holy Grail" cream! No break outs, smooth texture, glowing, happy skin. I've been using it for a year now, and I think it's plateued for me. It feels and works like a good moisturizer, but doesn't have the 'WOW' factor in it, like in the beginning. I would buy it again, for the simple fact that my skin will tolerate it. You need only a little to go a long way, great to use in the neck area, and smells delicately fresh. My dog Riley, likes to try to lick it off my face. So, I think she'd give this 4 paws too!
I'm not usually a fan of mainstream fragrance's. So, to come across this jewel in in a sea of "nothing special's" I was pleasently surprised. I love the port wine twist to this scent. Really, when you come down to it, it's all about your chemistry. This smells yummy/edible but, not in that sugary sweet overkill way. True story; just today, I had a guy chase me down asking what I was wearing! He wanted to get it for his gal. I don't think I need to say more.
Ugh! Ugh! & Ugh! This has no true moisturizing properties at all. It coats your skin and fools it into thinking it's moistuized. When you try to stop using it your skin is in worse condition then it was before you started using it. And as an eye make up remover... It never really comes off! The next day the residue makes your mascara and shadows move/come off. Lord knows it's also not safe to use around your tear ducts, for fear of clogging & those white "milla" bumps that occur. We've come along way since Petrolatum's. If you want something to correct the moisture barrier in the skin, I suggest Osmotics Tricerum for body & Creme d'extreme for face. The last time Vasaline was in my home was 20 years ago. Good riddance!
This is too rich, in a headachey way. The transistion from note to note isn't smooth. The scent's got a cloying, overpowering personality. It reminds me of somethind that envelopes the wearer like a cloud. Not complementing, but beating you over the head with it's smell.
This mascara only gets good when it's almost gone. Too wet and clumpy when it's new. I have to use a lash seperator, no matter how carefull I am. Better mascara's out there for less $.
I think this must be one of those love it or hate it Fragrances!! I happen to love it! It totally reminds me of another time.. I agree with the other member that it's 1940's w/ a twist. Whenever I would wear this my boyfriend would want to "Pounce" on me. I kid you not. It was weird! I normally hate powdery fragrance's. This one though has a little somethin somethin going on with it. It works fantastic with my chemisty. Try it, before you sign it off.

This is pure Sensory Aromatherapy. Not perfumey, but the pure natural Essential oil experiance. This is so eye opening in the morning. I love the way my skin feels afterwards, and the fact that it puts a little more pep in my step is a good thing!
This is one of the BEST Dry Oil sprays out there. I'll tell you why with two words. NO SILICONE. Most of the dry oil sprays out there have that as their active "Sheen" ingrediant. Ugh! It's not the same as natural oils. This absorbs so beautifully into your skin and smells so clean. I didn't detect any minty smell to it?? I don't find that it clashes at all with my Fragrances. The scent is that wonderfull Aromatherapy smell & it does dissapate. Lovely product, excellant quality ingrediants!
This is great used alone or layered with other scents. It reminds me of Lemon Lollipop's. There's a sweetness and an edge to this fragrance at once. I mixed it with my Origin's Ginger scent and a number of other woodsy scents and thought it was Fab! Fantastic for close work enviornments, days off, and the gym. Great find!
This has become one of my signature fragrance's!! Not "Grandmothery" at all! It's warm and sexy. Guy's pull me aside and sniff me, I get complements galore. I try to use it sparingly, because of the cost. I wish they made candles, soaps, room sprays in this scent. I'm truely a fan & will continue to have this avaliable on my dresser.
Because of this Fragrance, I want to try other L'Artisan scents! This is "WOW" in a bottle. I love the complexity and sensuality of this fragrance. It's not for the single note floral fans, because of some of the smokier, spicer notes to it. It has this drydown that is just plain YUMMY! I tend to not do well with florals, and this frangrance just "Purrs" on my skin. And isn't the the hot mamma riding the tiger just the greatest label??!! Would buy again & again.
