Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Fit Me

I think I finally found the drugstore pressed powder that I like. It matches my skin tone well, and is a nice, light powder to top up my foundation and complete a look. When applied with a powder brush or kabuki brush, this does not feel caky at all and has a light coverage and feels like you're not wearing any makeup. When applied with the puff provided, the coverage is heavier but runs the risk of looking caked on.

I love the colour of this. It's so close to my natural colour that it looks quite natural, but definitely an enhanced natural that can be worn for any occasion. I love love love this shade. I really wish I could buy a large tube of only the colour portion though, since I'm not too crazy about the gloss that comes with it.

I am a big fan of these polishes. I have a few of them and I love applying them. They go on nicely and dry quickly. I will buy again and would recommend to anybody.

Polishes -Rimmel - Lasting Finish Pro - Steel Grey

I really like the polish. But, I HATE the brush. I understand the concept of a big brush, to cover more nail and get a nice even coat, but I just can't get used to it. I find it much easier to apply evenly with a smaller brush. But the colour of this polish is beautiful. It looks very high end.

As others have noted, this does not sink in to skin quickly and is a bit oily. However, I feel like a lot of people are using way more than necessary. Seriously, a little goes a long way here. Take a tiny amount onto a finger, and massage it into feet . Use more as needed. Put on socks and enjoy!

I really like this product in the winter, when my hands are very dry. It's thick, and a little goes a long way. I just take a little and rub it into my hands. It's olive oil and beeswax, so your hands will feel oily for a bit afterwards. When I have very dry hands this is the stuff I use. I also use it before bed. But I wouldn't recommend this to lug around with you in your purse. I do love this stuff, and would recommend it to others. I always have a tin by my bed to moisturize, and use as a night-time lip balm.

I have always felt that skin has been "congested"... I tried washes with .5% salicylic, and astringents with 1% salicylic acid in the past that have worked OK, though I have always a few cystic pimples on my face at all times. However, once I started using this wash twice daily I noticed VAST improvements. I pair this with a moisturizer that has .5% salicylic acid that I use at night (I think it's Clean & Clear) and regular moisturizer with sun screen in the morning, and could not be happier with the results. I see and feel that my pores are now clear. some people seem to find the 2% acid too harsh for their skins. I have oily skin with a history of cystic acne, and this worked wonders for me.

So dissapointed in this product. It goes on OK, but immediately dries lips out. They started out fine, and ended up cracked and lined. Worse than any lipstick or stain I've ever tried. Will not repurchase. Nice colour, though...

Crème -L'Oreal - True Match Super Blendable Compact Makeup

I like this product well enough. It matches my skin tone well, but is not my daily foundation because it sometimes causes blackheads on my face. Instead, I use it often as a concealer (it's thick enough to cover well) and find that it works well for that. If you're going to use it as a foundation, I like to stipple it on, or apply with a foundation brush. I find that it's too heavy to wear on my full face. I would not repurchase though.

The brush comes out of the cap sometimes, which is incredibly annoying. Also, the colour hardly shows up on my nails, even after 6 coats. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because if I apply over a white coat, it looks OK. I would not repurchase this polish. It's very inexpensive, and you get what you pay for. Go for something a little more expensive that works better.

I quite liked this product. It removed frizziness and made my hair super soft. I don't know how much of an effect the oils actually have, and how much is just the silicone it contains... This did not make my hair oily at all especially compared to other oils I've used in my hair, which makes me doubt the oil content. Nevertheless, this product did work very well on my hair and I would repurchase. Just need to keep in mind that the "oils" it contains seems to be more of a gimmick. (bought it on sale, and would repurchase at the sale price. Probably would not purchase at full price).

I quite liked this face mask. You need to heat the product before you apply it - I just stuck it in a bowl of hot water (from the tap) for 1-2 minutes and massaged the package for a while before applying. When I opened the package there was a thick yellow liquid that felt great on my skin.

Eyes -NYX - Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils- All

I use these pencils as eye liners only, so I can't comment on how long they last as eyeshadows or eyeshadow bases. The colour comes off easily on an eye liner brush, which I then use to line my eyes. They last quite well as eyeliners and there is enough product in one stick that I won't need to repurchase again for a while. I would recommend these as eyeliners, but not as all over lid colours since they do seem too creamy to last all over. I dont really like the packaging, but over-all its ok.

Honestly, I feel no difference when I use this product. I have very thick hair, and this does nothing whatsoever to controle frizz on it. Would not repurchase.

Polishes -L.A. Colors - Color Craze Atomic

I love all Color Craze polishes that I've tried so far. Atomic is a dark teal colour. I was looking for this colour, and at 2$ I can't complain at all for what I got. Looks great on my summer toes.
