Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Fusion
razl 8/10/2010 9:20:00 AM
I received a sample of this product through Bzz Agent as several other reviewers have. I generally don't care for the "fat" brushes, but this one seems to work well and I don't get too much on my lids during application. My trick for this product is to use this as your first coat and then use a coat of Lash Exact over it. The Lash Exact brush (for me) separates lashes better and the formula is similar. So I get a nice thick coat of the Lash Blast Fusion and then separate the lashes out with a coat of Lash Exact over the top.

Crème -Cover Girl - Simply Ageless
razl 6/19/2010 6:07:00 PM
I received this product as part of a Bzz Kit. It goes on smooth and doesn't cake. In my opinion it might be a bit heavy for summer, but I have found if I mix it on my fingers with a bit of moisturizer (Clinique DDM gel), it is a nice home made tinted moisturizer.

Mascara -Max Factor - 2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper [DISCONTINUED]
razl 5/21/2009 9:35:00 AM
I too received this item through Bzz Agent (I noticed a few others also reported here), and wanted to include my review as well. I am on the fence about this mascara. I like the formula and the results, but for me personally the brush is too big and the product seems to get on my lids each time. For those gals that like the large brush, I think they will really like this mascara. If you like Max Factor but don't like the brush, then try Volume Couture - that is my favorite Max Factor mascara and I don't seem to have the application "challenges" with that formula and brush. Max Factor does make some great mascaras though, you just need to find the right one for your style.

Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Color Juice in Candy Apple
razl 12/21/2004 3:45:00 PM
Agree with the other reviews on this regarding the pigment of this Color Juice vs. the other more sheer versions. This is a nice plummy red, it stayed true to the color once I put it on, did not turn fuschia on me at all. Since it is more pigmented I find that for a more even application it's easier to apply w/ a lip brush rather than right out of the tube. I also like the fact that you can start with a cream color and add a shimmer of your choice on top, like a sheer JT or one of my Cargo glosses.

Fragrances -Ralph Lauren - Blue for Women
razl 8/17/2004 4:20:00 PM
I received a sample of this fragrance and am really enjoying it. As others have mentioned, it smells refreshing, not overpowering. There is something familiar about it but I can't quite put my finger on it. Everyone has their personal preference, but it is definitely worth trying. I think this would work in all seasons - it's "cool" enough for summer and has enough "warm" comforting hints for winter. Don't miss trying this if you have a chance!

Lip Gloss -Cargo - Lipgloss Duo in Twin Cities
razl 5/2/2004 4:37:00 PM
I gave this a "5" because I love all my Cargo glosses and this is no exception. As the other reviewer mentioned, this is a "warmer" gloss duo, one side is a brighter apricot color and the other side is a lighter peachy color - both have lovely shimmer but one side does give a "darker" stain to the lips. Overall it is the warmer version of the LaLa Land gloss, which are cool pinks. I also think some of Cargo's newer glosses have more staying power than their older ones, but still not as much as the Lancome JTs or BB glosses.

Blush -Cargo - Gotham
razl 2/24/2004 8:34:00 PM
I'm with PeggyA, love this blush. It is a beautiful pink w/ a very unique shimmer, as some on the boards have mentioned, it has a blue "irridescence" to it (not that it really looks blue, but it on the cool side rather than the warm goldish shimmer of Topeka and The Big Easy). Easy and even application, the same as my other Cargo blushes. This is definitely a keeper for all seasons.

Lip Gloss -Cargo - La La Land
razl 2/18/2004 8:03:00 PM
I am a fan of Cargo glosses because I like "non-sticky" glosses, so I tend to rate them higher than others may. As far as the color goes, one side is sheer/clear w/ very teensy micro glitter and the other side is a brighter pink w/ micro glitter - this is not Urban Decay glitter, this is very teensy but still more than "shimmer" and not as hot pink as pago pago - more of a med. true pink. The brighter pink gave a bit more color than the clear, but not that much. Still, it is a nice addition to my gloss collection so I give it a high rating - amazing to me how Cargo can keep creating glosses that are unique and different from the ones they already have. I consider it a "keeper".

Blush -Cargo - The big easy
razl 2/6/2004 10:41:00 AM
I'm in total agreement with the other reviews. This is a lovely blush (Cargo and NARS are my favorites). I love NARS Torrid for a peachy color, but when you want a bit more pink, The Big Easy is perfect. I can use Torrid more during the summer when my face has a bit more color - The Big Easy is a nice lighter alternative for my paler "winter" color skin. Just the right amount of color and shimmer!

Lip Gloss -Lancome - Juicy Tubes - Pinkadelic
razl 1/16/2004 11:46:00 AM
I was lucky enough to run across this at the store that still had a few left - since it was a limited edition I thought I wouldn't find one. As the other reviewers have said, it is "scary" pink in the tube. But don't let it scare you away - it sheers out to a beatiful blue toned pink shade w/ a bit of sheen to it (no glitter or shimmer in this one). Since it is on the sheer side this is one you can apply without a mirror and having to worry about it being too heavy, it applies nice and evenly. I wouldn't say it's a YLBB look because it is a bit brighter, but it certainly isn't overpowering. Nice pleasant scent too!

Lip Gloss -Lancome - Juicy Tubes in Candy Corn
razl 10/25/2003 2:50:00 PM
This JT is a winner in my opinion. I had Citrus Wish at one time but it was a bit too orange for me and showed up orange on my lips. This orange/red shimmer gloss is great and really enhances a light lip color with a natural your lips but better color. I agree with the others in that I wish this had a true candy corn "flavor", I feel the scent fades quickly after application and don't generally have any problems w/ most of the JTs that I own - prefer the fruity ones over the other stronger scents though.

Lip Gloss -Cargo - Baden Baden
razl 8/29/2003 10:51:00 AM
I love Cargo glosses. True, they don't last as long as some others, but they also aren't as bad at that "hair sticking to lips" as say Bobbi Brown and Juicy Tubes are either. The colors of all the Cargo glosses are wonderful and I'm amazed that they can keep introducing colors that are totally unique from the others they have. While some may look similar in the tin, they are all truely different. Baden Baden is a wonderful browner plum w/ shimmer but not too much and a light pinky/beige, not too gold, not too pink, nice over a darker lipstick or liner.

Lip Gloss -Urban Decay - XXX shine lip gloss HEATHERETTE
razl 3/27/2003 8:46:00 AM
XXX Shine glosses are one of my favorites, I haven't had any problems w/ the packaging, but I am quite careful about not letting it tip over in my purse. I would compare Heatherette to a "taupe" shade of gloss, similar to Stila Taupe Shine or Too Faced Slip 'n Slide. It is definitely on the cooler side. While it has the same amount of glitter as Baked, it goes and sheer and much different than the bronzey shade Baked is. I know the mint scent turns some folks off, but I like the scent and will continue to purchase these glosses in the future. I'm giving this only 4 lipsticks because I'm not fond of the glitter, sometimes the gloss wears off and the glitter stays - but this is very small glitter and doesn't feel gritty.

Palettes -Stila - Breast Cancer Awareness Pocket Palette
razl 2/21/2002 7:49:00 PM
I agree that this is the best combination of colors of all the Pocket Palettes. Nice that there are both shimmer and non-shimmer in the same palette. Very wearable and easy to apply and you can build the colors and then add some shimmer on top.
