Mascara -Maybelline - Lash Stiletto
rawrmonkey 3/6/2009 4:45:00 PM
First off, I knocked 1 lippie off because of the smell. Yuck. It smells like strong perfume.
The first few days that I was wearing this, I hated it. It didin't seem to do anything. BUT after a few days, it seemed like I was able to get more product out....and I was amazed! It's the most lengthening mascara that I've ever used...I love it! It doesn't do much in terms of volume (but that's not what it is for, it's a lengthening mascara) so I tend to do 1 coat of this, and 1 coat of a volumizing mascara.
Seriously, my lashes have never looked better.

Lips -My Lip Stuff - Peppermint Buttercream
rawrmonkey 12/11/2008 1:07:00 PM
My new favorite flavor! I've always loved minty flavors, but the buttercream in this balm just sweetens it up a notch. It's VERY different then the other mint + sweet flavors that I've tried, this one so far is the best.

I was hoping it wasen't going to be to apple-y...and it's not! It's a perfect blend of flavors, the ginger ale really mellows out the apple. I don't smell any boozy smell, but there is a kick to this balm!

Lips -My Lip Stuff - Candy Corn Ice Cream Lip Balm
rawrmonkey 12/11/2008 1:03:00 PM
I actually hate eating real candy corns, but I LOVE the scent, it always reminds me of Halloween. The ice cream really softens it so it's not to overly sweet like the regular candy corn balm. Great balm!

I've always been intriugued with this balm, but never tried it until now. I actually went to smell my box of Nesquik lol and they do smell almost exactly the same. Not quite a chocolaty scent, but it smells like Nesquik!

Hair Color -L'Oreal - Natural Match haircolor [DISCONTINUED]
rawrmonkey 11/7/2008 6:12:00 PM
L'Oreal Natural Match hair dye in 5N. I purchased 2 boxes (I have long hair) and I actually had about half a bottle left and my hair was fully saturated...which was pretty awesome.
I was actually pretty dissapointed in this product. This is the first brown dye that actually made my roots look brassy. Wtf. Maybe my natural hair is a cooler tone? No idea, all I know is I've never had that happen with any brown dye. It looked really weird. The product was also super running...which made me stain my bathroom rug. I know I should of put something down....but usually the hairdyes I use aren't that runny.
I also felt my hair looked kind of flat and not shiny after, usually when I dye my hair it's super shiny for a few days after that. Not so much with Natural Match. Also, the conditioner that comes with it does *NOT* feel conditioning! Normally hair dye conditioners leave my hair super soft, but even in the shower I felt like I needed some of my normal conditioner! Maybe there is less 'cones in it, I didin't read the ingredients.
All in all, I probably wont be repurchasing this brand

Polishes -Urban Decay - Asphyxia
rawrmonkey 7/16/2008 9:08:00 PM
It's a VERY cool toned pinky lilacy silver, with super fine blue, silver and magenta shimmer throughout. It applied super thin, so it took 3 coats to be fully opaque. As you can see it bubbled on a few nails, which I think is actually because my Seche Vite thickened up quite a bit. Don't mind the chips, this was taken after a few facials and waxings, so I cant be to accurate on how long it lasts. I really like this color, but it does look kind of freaky in the bottle :)

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in Fashionista Orange

I love this color, it reminds me of orange soda. I was afraid to try it because I didin't want "construction worker" orange on my nails...but this color is just juicy! It applied nice and smooth and I only needed 2 coats. Read on for pictures.....

This is one of my all time favorites, and I've actually used up half the bottle (that's a lot for me lol). I dont really wear reds much...but this is THE perfect red! It's a brick red with a fine gold shimmer...it even works on my cool toned skin. These pictures dont even do it justice, whenever I can get some new pictures I'll post them. I think it might be discontinued? I hope not :( Read on for pictures....

I dont think I've ever actually used this for a mani, but I really really like it now that I've tried it! It's a light sky blue metallic, with super super small silver shimmers running through it. It also applied flawlessly, and had a gorgeous finish! Read on for pictures...

This is a pretty sheer color, but I love it! It's perfect to throw on when you dont have a lot of time, but it does add a sheer milky pink (with a hint of lilac) color that just looks pretty and put together. It's just great if you want something quick, better then natural and pretty! No streaks, bubbles or anything...read on for a picture :)

Polishes -OPI - Yoga-Ta Get This Blue!
rawrmonkey 7/9/2008 12:40:00 AM
I'm not normally a fan of crazy nail polish colors (blues, greens, purple) but the pictures on the nail board made this a lemming for me. I actually wore this for the first time on the 4th...and I LOVE it. I actually plan on wearing this again...and not for any theme like the 4th :). I really loved that like actually looked like a nice deep, almost navy blue....not black like most blues look like. It almost has a turquoise/teal shimmer, absolutely gorgeous! You can definetely get away with 1 coat, but 2 is really best to get the whole effect.

Polishes -OPI - Chicago Champagne Toast
rawrmonkey 7/9/2008 12:36:00 AM
I was a bit suprised that it looks a bit rosier on the nail then it does in the bottle, but it's still pretty! It's a nice taupe with a hint of rose that is a perfect neutral. I actually wore it to an interview the other day...I hope it was good luck! I dont think it's a shimmer, it's more of a muted metallic. I'm a cool toned LLL and it worked for me. Read on for some pictures :)

Polishes -Essie - Funships
rawrmonkey 7/2/2008 10:19:00 PM
I just bought this on clearence at Ulta for $2.99...I wish I had bought this sooner! It's the *essence* of summer for me, hot pinkish coral with gold and coral shimmer throughout. This is my first (and only so far, but not for long!) Essie, and I am pretty impressed. I had full perfect coverage with only 2 coats, and I probably could of gotten away with 1 coat. I'm cool toned LLL, and this is defintely not to warm for me to wear. Read on for a picture :)
