Lipstick -MAC - Sheen Supreme Lipstick - Supremely Confident

I have never found a nude lipstick that fits my skintone so well. I am extremely cool toned!!! I will wear revlon soft nude and the new matte rimmel nude color sometimes but even then I feel like they don't look 100% right because of the warmer undertones but soon as I seen this I knew it would be perfect not a bit of orange in this, which is hard to find in a nude lip. But it also isn't to pink or peach it actually still looks nude, and I think thats what makes this so great.Feel EXACTLY like revlon lip butters...possibley better if u want to be picky. It has that vanilla scent but doesn't seem as strong as regular mac lipsticks...now I am not one to make packaging a make it or break it for me but the packaging is really great, very heavy...feels like what I consider an 18$ lipstick should feel like. The only negative is because of the formula of course its gonna have to be applied more often and honestly I love the way it feels so I like applying even when Im just sitting around and its sheer enough that I can do that while being a light makeup day.
Im not getting where people are getting this is streaky. I of course use a base coat but I think it looked pretty good with just one coat. I of course use 2 just for the extra strength. def didnt need 3 coats. I really am confused. I have prob 60 polishes and expect for base and top coat I pretty much only buy the cheap polishes unless its a rare color or sale so Ive had my share of horrible streaky pale shades and this isnt even close. I see people saying long dry time I wouldnt know because essiegood to go and seche veite are always my top coats and they take any issue w dry time away.

This mascara is beyond awesome! Thank God to the chick who put it in here monthly favs that raved so much cause mascara is just not something I take chances on trying out. I am very fortunate to have pretty long lashes in the 1st place, so a mascara that can get my attention like this did is a big deal. It's not to watery or to dry. So u have time to keep adding coats and it just really is crazy how much improvment this made being this is 3 bucks! I imagine it can get clumpy but using another makeup wand out of something like revlon 3 d or the new clump crusher after every coat will help with that. maybelline xxl with the 2 sides has been my hg mascara for yrs and yrs and this just to the title! If u want dramtic lashes this is for u!
I really like these things. I already have a black fiber brush/mascara kit for awhile. Thank God I have ben blessed with pretty long lashes already but it just makes me want them even longer BUT tonight IDK what made me think of it but this can also be used to make the fuzzy nails. Of course there white fur but it works just the same and seems to look just the same as I see on internet pics. I am a big fan of the whole textured nails and have tried them all but this until tonight and its pretty awesome so basically u spend like3 bucks and if u dont like it for your lashes u still have something u can use on your nails!
I bought this in merengue which is a milky lilac pink. It feels so creamy and not as all sticky!! Kind of like u took a revlon lip butter and broke it down and stired into a creamy gloss. My favorite part about the color is that even though its milky it doesnt settle into the lip lines. I can wear it all day long and my lips never feel or llok dry, even after its gone my lips are dying for balm, and I am an avid balm wearer...always have it one if Ilm not wearing lipstick which is usally a matte, so my lips tend to be dry often. It does have a sweet smell. Smells doesnt usually bother expect for the matte cream from nyx, idk y...go figure so i cant say if sensitive people will have issue. It doesnt smell plastic or anything to me. Def say try it!
Once again this vivid collection has shocked me! I have 4 of these and they have all been beautiful! The thing I have colors that are very similar even some would say dupes. Usually matte which is usually my go to...I love matte but these have this awesome sheen to them, its like it has a blue sheen u see in like girl about town or show orchid but its different somehow and while to me I hate those colors because that blue sheen in THOSE colors reminds me of the 80 and I just dont care for it, but in these colors it just really works! This is an awesome fuchsia but has lots more purple tone to it then most fucshia shades and the sheen...I cant even explain it. But if u like bright colors these are great. Im cool tones so I got all those type shades but Im sure the warm toned one will be just an awesome. They smeel like all th eother color sensational..cant really explain it..its def not an awesome mac smell but its not a revlon moon drop gross smell either. same packaging only bright coral lid. DEF TRY THEM!
Say hello to candy yum yum's first drugstore dupe that easy access in the U.S! For the people who thought fuchsia fever was a dupe this is dead on minus the matte. I'm goonna try and get a pics up comparing the 3 soon. You can add some silica powder (eld or mufe hd powder) patted over it and u pretty much have candy yum yum at half the price. I love matte lips..my prefer formula but I like the sheen on these lipsticks! They smell just like all the other color sensational lipsticks same packaging with a kind of orange coral see through lid. If u love neon pink lippies these are awesome...with walgreens or cvs return policy u can always take them back..though I doubt ud want to!
This is from the vivds collection and let me say WOW! These are AWESOME... MOVE OVER MAC....maybelline is here with a BIG time competion from a drugstore brand and price! This color I imagine is prob a close dupe to pink friday because it is a close dupe to dollhouse pink with sheen. I love bright neon cool tones pinks and my fav is matte and I honeslty think I like this more then my matte dollhouse pink! These something about the sheen that these lipsticks have that make them better then average satin lippie! They have that same color sensational smell the others have (most is buying this have probably owned fuchsia fever...same smell) But the color is AWESOME! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
I love this stuff. I have several different foundations and setting powders for different situations (like if Im going to be out all day I'll wear colorstay) This stuff works really well with my garnier bb cream and a couple spritz of elf makeup mist and set. I would actually make this an everyday foundation routine (along with my sephora primer) but I sweat alot and it doesn't stay with me as well as the colorstay. It's not as matte as the rimmel stay matte (which is what I use with colorstay) and I like that sometimes. I HATE ordering from elf online, but thats my only complaint. btw I use sheer and I would really like to try the the yellow one for under eye.
Pressed Powders -Rimmel - Stay Matte Pressed Powder (ALL)
rawortley 12/16/2012 2:26:00 AM
I love this powder. I have never found anything that will truley keep the area around my nose matte all day..but this does a great job eveywhere else and keeping the nose area matte the longest. My only issue is the packaging, being that most use this a a blotting powder it just seems it would make sense to make it in a compact. The stupid lid is always lost so fast. I have so much makeup and it takes so long with all the crap I gotta go through because of my ocd, everything has to be perfect most of the time, once it's time to leave everything is everywhere and trying to find the lid sucks. I can't just keep one in my purse because even when I know where the lid is it falls off so easy I'm afraid it will bust open in my purse. If they just made this in a normal compact it would be hg for me but they don't so while I'll cont to buy this I am still trying others to find possible hg.
Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - EXTRA VIRGIN Coconut Oil (All brands)
rawortley 11/25/2012 2:40:00 AM
I first bought coconut oil (unrefined!!! and organic) for my byracial daughter's hair after I co wash it. But I have found many uses and my favorite and most succesful is I take my makeup off with it (I wear 2 primers, revlon colorstay (lately the whipped), concealer, under eye brightner, benefit lemonade on top lids pressed powder, hd powder, bronzer, blush and highlighter (wow u dont realise how much junk u put on ure face til u spell it out) so I slather it on twice messaging it into my skin then I actually wash my face, and I no longer get the yeast rashes on my chin anymore...which were impossible to get rid completely before. ALSO I take my eye makeup off with it and and it has made my eyelashes even longer. I have pretty good lashes anyway but one day I was like where are the lashes on the corners comming from, there so long. Gradually its improving all my lashes..and I used to vaseline but this works so much better!
This is the 2nd color I've bought from this line with blushing sequin being the 1st. The color of what is actually in the tube probably the brightest pink lip color I've ever seen. Even when I compare it to my candy yum yum or my nylon lip tar, pink vinyl appears brighter and more blue toned. But it def doesn't come out that way on lips. It sheers out and the glossyness (is that a word) makes it much more lighter then it appears. It looks more like the maybelline baby lips pink punch with a tad more pigment to it. It very thin and oily feeling, which makes it not last long at all. It's weird if I wipe it off (like if I've put it over another lipstick and want to take the top layer where its mixed on the balm) it looks kind of matte, I mean the lippie its self not once u put it on ure lips, like it looks when u first get them. I really wish it went on like it looks in tube, even when I swatch it on a napkin (which I keep a napkin with all my lip colors swatched because I have so so so many) it's the most brightest of all my lippies and I have several of the proclaimed neon lippies. It just doesnt come through. I'm a lip junkie so Ill prob buy more.
The people describing the eyelid primer as being oily or glittery or even both are NOT using the 1$ primer (that says simplyelf eyelid primer) in sheer. That primer may feel a little silicone like at 1st but after a few seconds it dries down to a matte like texture that rids the slick feeling of just normal unprimed eyelids have. I do know that it will make your eyeshadow more vibrant but I can't say if it does a better or as well job as some other eyelid primers BUT I can say that it does make your freaking eyeshadow STAY PUT! In my 15 yrs of makeup wearing I have only started wearing shadow primers in the last maybe 2 years and I'm seriously sad I didn't find out how much better your shadow will stay with this primer than alone or just a concealer under it. I was a bridesmaid a few days ago and did a teal smokey eye and couldn't believe when I got home 10 hours later it looked as if I had just did my eye makeup which is alot for smokey eye that several colors blended together. The lighter was still in the inner and the darker still on the outside, no creasing or smudging. It even helps my eyelinerto stay put. I know for a FACT without that primer my shadow would of been a hot mess way before it was even time to walk down the aisle. Anyone who has had a problem make sure you try the the 1$ one in sheer, and that u give it a chance to dry before you put your shadow on. If it's just that u want to make it last (which for me is the most important) I can't see how u would be disappointed. If it's brighter color thats something u will have to judge for yourself.
I've been using monistat chafing gel as my primer for about 2 yrs. It covers my pores but I sweat so bad and it makes my oil shine through that it doesnt help much with that. I bought this on clearance for five bucks and love it! It def doesnt feel like a silicone primer, i get that it is kind of sticky when u first put it on but that sticky dries fast and all the oil along with it! My fav thing is it takes away any signs of flakieness under my foundation. U know where it looks like u need exfoliate but u did, thats been a prob for yrs and this primer fixes it completely. I still wear monistat over my cheeks where the pores are the worst over this primer. I have no idea how much this is normaly but ill def repurchase, im bout out and its lasted about 6 months.
I have this in blonde and I really love the color of the powder. I have used so many dif eyeshadows trying to find a good match. I have natural med brown hair but my brows are lighter then my hair which is fine because I bleach top part of my hair platinum, so when Iuse the wax it makes the color to dark and odd looking on me. I think the little drawer packaging is a cute idea. Brush isnt for me, I feel i dont have enough control over where i place the powder because its kind of thick...But i really love this powder for contouring my face, ive been on the search for the perfect matte contouring bronzer, im pretty much the same color all year round because I dont dare tan and use spray tan, yes its way to small to use for that purpose but I am on the search to find a dupe for this color in bigger size!
