just got this gloss....nice sheer corally red...probably very sheer on its own, but good for intensifying a lipstick too. i;m not a bit fan of sparkle in my glosses, so this is a perfect formula for me.

I just bought this lipstick today, and couldn't wait to try it on....I'm wearing it with Firecracker Super Lustrous Lipgloss, and I'm not sure how it would wear (on me) without the gloss over top. The formula is very dry matte (as mattes generally are I guess) so it seemed a bit patchy. Maybe with a little bit of exfoliating and lotsa lipbalm/conditioner it'd be perfect? Can't comment on the lasting power, but I think the colour is awesome (as long as you're ok with BRIGHT)...and I like Revlon's window at the top of the tube so that no need to flip the tube over or open it up to have a look.... I bought this combo because I thought it might go along the lines of the coral lips in the Mac 'To the Beach' collection...

wow! this lipstick is awesome! i'm an nw35....i was a bit hesitant at the mac counter to even try it on....and it is definitely BRIGHT! but really cool...kind of retro...one reviewer mentioned 50's and someone else marilyn monroe...i would say on me its a little more 80's, but in a good way.... i bought it with redd lipliner, though when i tried it in the store, the MA also suggested that magenta would be good with it as well, and i tried both of them out...i don't recall exactly why, but i preferred redd...though i'd probably get magenta at a later date and wear it with that as well!!

i really love the colour of this lipstick, although not the consistency...it isn't drying at all but i wish it would go on smoother. after reading some of the other reviews i might just try it some more after more exfoliation and lip balm and see how that works... colourwise, i think it's awesome. i wore it today (with a lilac liner and layered with lavender whip lipstick) with pastel green eyes....i have nw35 skin, so i was a bit worried...but it was all good! i'm undecided on whether i'd buy it again...might depend on if i can get it to go on smoother on its own....but then again, i rarely finish a lipstick, so not sure if that is really an issue!
