Cleansers -TheFACEShop - The Face Shop Green Tea Phyto Cleanser
rated 3 of 5
rachelmoo 1/6/2013 7:08:00 AM

This green tea cleanser is recommended by my friend who love green tea product. At first, it did cleanse my face well and leave it moisturized without stickiness. However, as time goes by, it begin to cause more blackhead on my nose. I believe the phyto foam is the culprit. I will not repurchase it as I throw the whole cleanser after 4 months of using it.

Toners -H20 - H20 plus aqualibrium toner
rated 1 of 5
rachelmoo 1/6/2013 6:58:00 AM

This toner is not hydrating and caused breakout on my chin and upper lip. It is not effective for dry combination skin nor it help to improve my skin condition. Their H20 marine toner ( new green packaging) is better and this toner is a waste of my money. When toner suppose to clarify dirt inside my pores, it caused me acne and acne scars. Very disappointed and will not repurchase this range again.

Conditioner -Unlisted Brand - The Egg Bomb
rated 5 of 5
rachelmoo 10/18/2012 11:44:00 PM

I used 2 egg yolks with 2 tablespoons of olive oil for my dry, colored hair and let it do its magic for 35 minutes. After I shampooed and conditioned as usual, I blow dried my hair. Some of my broken strand of hair seemed repaired and well conditioned. My hair felt smooth, soft and volumized (yes!). There is no smell of egg lingering although I used warm water to wash my hair. Highly recommended to do this hair treatment twice per month.

Masks -InnisFree - Ginseng Mask
rated 3 of 5

Innisfree Ginseng cream is a good product which promise a well moisturized skin and bringing a radiance to the dull skin. Although it did moisturize my skin well, I did not notice any radiance whatsoever. My cheek do feel plump, though. The mask is sticky and thick like maple syrup but it do have a faint smell of ginseng. Although it is not that easy to wash off, it's not as hard as milk and honey mask. To me, it's an OK product. At least, it's more cost friendly than the Korean brand sheet masks.

Conditioner -Unlisted Brand - Manufaktura original wine hair balm
rated 4 of 5
rachelmoo 9/11/2012 5:06:00 AM

This hair conditioner is actually from the brand of Manufaktura which boost the first wine cosmetic in Europe. I was very curios to try when my travel conditioner supply is gone. The wine smell is very nice and soothing. After 5 minutes, I can really felt my coarse hair is immediately more relaxed and smoother even before I wash my hair. The conditioner works like a charm in making my hair smoother but it did not repair damaged hair. The conditioner can last for 1 month only. I will not buy again as Loccitane irritated scalp conditioner also did a decent job and it last longer.

Lip Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Manufaktura Softening Lip Balm with Grape Oil and Shea Butter
rated 4 of 5
rachelmoo 9/11/2012 4:59:00 AM

I bought this in Prague Manufaktura cosmetic shop on my recent trip to Europe and this lipbalm is amazing. It contains grape oil and shea butter which immediately rejuvenate my chapped lips into a smoother surface. Although it is oily, one can felt that it really use authentic grape oil. I enjoy the smelt of red wine and the fact that it is truly organic like Burts bee. It is not easy to find a good lip balm for my sensitive lips but I'm glad there is something effectively similar out there. Sadly, this brand is not widely available in the market and it is more prominent in Eastern Europe.

Treatments -L'Occitane - Repairing Mask for Dry and Damaged Hair/ Shine Mask
rated 5 of 5
rachelmoo 9/11/2012 4:48:00 AM

I think this must be the most expensive hair treatment I have ever splurge on. However, it did keep its promise to keep my dry hair smooth and smelling good. It helps to soothe my hair frizz and keep my hair shiny the whole day. My younger sister recently straightened her hair and the hair treatments is actually maintaining her hair fibers from being destroyed by the harsh chemical.

Shampoo -L'Occitane - LOccitane Soothing shampoo for Irritated scalp
rated 5 of 5
rachelmoo 9/11/2012 4:40:00 AM

This is my 3rd bottle of Loccitane shampoo for sensitive scalps and I have to said it did an amazing job to soothe itchy scalps. I used to have oily seeds and oily dandruff problem. I didn't thought of getting this shampoo until I was introduced by a friendly salesgirl in London Loccitane branch to try. Since other notable brands like Shiseido and Kerasys anti dandruff shampoos did not do the magic, I decided to take a leap of faith and bought it despite the hefty price. I did not scratch my head due to itchiness until now after using this shampoo. Heck, my mom even complimented my hair looked healthier and smelt good! ^^ I just hope that Loccitane will have sales soon so I can replenish my stock.

Shampoo -Skinfood - Citron Scalp Care
rated 3 of 5
rachelmoo 1/22/2012 12:46:00 AM

The Skinfood Citron Scalp Care did a good job in removing oil and greasy buildup from my scalp. It's suitable for me as I dislike using vinegar to rinse buildup from the scalp. This shampoo did not irritate my scalp like other Asience shampoo. The shampoo are also free of parabens and colorings which is definitely a BIG plus. (^o^) The shampoo also did a lovely job in making my hair feeling soft and volumized after rinsing it. The only con is you need to wash your hair everyday. It really depend on individual as I easily have oily scalp on my forehead. I love the smell of orange within the shampoo. I'm planning to try the Skinfood Hopbeer Shampoo in the future to try different range too. I am very pleased with this shampoo as other Korean brand like Nature Republic and Innisfree dandruff shampoo failed to deliver it's promise. Update- My sister and I still have oily scalp on the forehead now. We discontinued the use of shampoo. The smell of orange is still great but it is not effective for scalp...

Although this lip balm healed my chapped lip, I prefer the faster alternative like Burt's bee mango butter.

Skincare - Face -Juju Aquamoist - Juju Aquamoist Cream
rated 1 of 5
rachelmoo 1/19/2012 3:06:00 AM

I have been using the toner and cleaner for 2 weeks in which I bought from Sasa. The cleanser is very convenient to use as one need to squeeze bubbles to wash the face. I dislike the toner and WILL NEVER BUY the toner again. I got a breakout of acne on upper lip, jaw and cheeks. Imagine the horror! I have to run to the nearest facial massage center to save my face. Gosh, it's 3 days before Chinese New Year! Oh, lord. I have used hyaluronic acid on my face with Laneige sleeping mask but this Juju Aquamoist prove to be a skincare mistake. As for ladies with combination skin, save your money for other skincare product.

Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics - Benetint
rated 1 of 5
rachelmoo 1/16/2012 12:45:00 PM

I try Benefit cherry tint before but my dead skin is removed with the application of the brush and my lip is not coated evenly. I begin to doubt Benefit lip tint even though it is recommended by 17 magazine. Did Liz Hurley really use it or the writer create some story to promote this product? Seriously, my lip is not moisturized and reminds me of dry red watercolor. I will not buy this product again.

Lips -Lioele - Blooming Pop - Orange Tint
rated 4 of 5
rachelmoo 1/16/2012 12:33:00 PM

The Lioele lip tint is perfectly comfortable and did not dry my lip. I try Benefit cherry tint before but my dead skin is removed with the application of the brush and my lip is not coated evenly. I begin to doubt Benefit lip tint even though it is recommended by 17 magazine. I really enjoyed the fun of having orange color gloss on my lip. The etude lipgloss with tangerine did not do the magic for me but I felt so glad that my lip finally suited orange color. The funny thing is the color still stay there even after I drank hot Puer tea. However, it can last a maximum time of 5 hours only. I don't like the packaging, though. The packaging and the brush remind me of real nail polish. It is quite pricey- RM 44.60 for 1 small bottle. The cap is very hard to remove but one can use a wet towel to unscrew it. I will repurchase it again but with a different color- cherry tint. I'm so glad that this product is available in Parkson. For Lioele, I will not recommend other products like lipstick and lip gloss but the lip tint is pretty good. Update-I will recommend everyone to get the red cherry lip tint but it is similiar to Benefit Cha Cha lip tint.

Lipstick -InnisFree - Eco Real Color Lipstick
rated 5 of 5
rachelmoo 1/7/2012 12:32:00 PM

This is the best lipstick that I have used so far. I'm really surprised that no one is reviewing this lipstick despite the fact it is a very famous organic skincare in Korea. I was recommended by my friend who lived in Korea that it has many lipstick colors and it is very moisturizing. I was hesitant at first because the Korean salespeople is not very friendly. In fact, they did not bother to say "Kamsa hamnida" (thank you in Korean language) after I paid for the product. However, my friend told me to buy the lipsticks only and forget about the salespeople. Emmm...Innisfree has great products but the company should spend money to train the sales staffs how to serve foreign tourist too (Dongdaemun branch in Seoul). I don't need to apply lip balm and the color is so obvious on my lip. As my lip is pale, it is not easy to find the right color and my skin chapped easily with lip stick application. I love this lipstick and I love the wine pink color. I even get praises from my guy friends who travel with me and my family in Korea. Since it is sold in Korea only, I have to ask my friend to send it to me by post for present now.Haha...
