The color is so pale it doesn't really do much, and texture was too talc-y or powdery. Not a great option for those no longer in the 'flush' of youth. I also dislike these little cardboard boxes. They aren't actually all that practical. :(

A bright, cool toned candy apple sorta red. Almost fuschia with just one coat, the perfect bright red with two coats. I'm almost convinced this is the ideal red.
I'm nearly ready to call this my hg nude lippie. Most nude lippies make me look dead. This has enough of a peachy/warm tone to not do that, plus its extra creamy (cremesheen) which I quite like. I'm a huge fan of the formula. Just got this color but so far I love it, I've topped with wildly lush (a warm nude gloss) to great effect. I'm in love! Not since I discovered 'shy girl' have I loved a lippie so! I have warm toned skin so maybe that's why I needed a warm nude? who knows? who cares? I love this color!
I'm really quite pleased with this color, Tipsy was my fave and go-to before getting this, but this is even peachier and slighly shimmery as opposed to tipsy which has no shimmer. I like both options, but do feel this one is more pigmented as well. I really like to use tarte stains as a base and buff in a tiny amount of powder blush on top for better color and staying power. Thus I've not had issues with pigmentation, just a little is enough for a base color which allows you to use less powder blush and avoid that visible pore thing that happens when you shovel on powder blushes...in any case, Tipsy and Dollface now gotta share the spotlight with eco-cheek, its a really pretty coral with a subtle golden shimmer (not glittery!) love love love the color, and good color payoff too.
HG red lippie! A blue-based red, so it doesn't turn into an orangey or winey color. So bright and beautiful, makes your teeth look brighter and whiter too! The best red I've tried.
A great base for a smokey eye! I just got it and wanted to try it out right away, so I used this and mac carbon to create a very dark and dramatic eye. I had agreed to a rather absurd event to raise money for a friend's nonprofit; a girl-on-girl lube-wrestling event. I got my butt whooped, faceplanted in a tub full of lube, and was then hosed down. My eyeshadow smudged a wee bit beneath my eyes but stayed on through all of that! Amazing! I assumed I'd emerge looking like a raccoon, but nope. I emerged drenched and defeated, but looking good! Another Mac miracle. :)
I got this hoping to use it as a buffer for blushes and powders, but its far too large for that. However, it is absolutely perfect for buffing on liquid foundation, as a few other reviewers have stated. No shedding, super dense, good quality, and no icky animal hair! yay!
I would call this a neutral brownish color, or a tan-ish mauve. Its semi-sheer and creamy and a good shade if brown and tan tones work for you but its a pretty subtle color, not super dramatic.
This is a shimmery, semi-sheer warm gold-y pink color. More of a mauve or rose base than pink really. It has gold glimmers, a lovely color and as always with Smashbox its shimmery but not gritty at all. :)
a cocoa brown, semi-sheer gloss with gold glimmers. Its a shimmery gloss that will look lovely if you typically look good in browns (I do, probably because warm tones work well for me) a lovely shade.
A bright, shimmery pink. Not quite fuschia, more like watermelon. This is semi-sheer and shimmery and a lovely fresh color for spring or summer. I will def repurchase :)
A neutral toned mauve color, its tough to explain the color, sort of a reddish brown, medium dark. Good formula, not a shimmery or glittery gloss, more of a creamy opaque gloss. Its pretty neutral and could work with a lot of different looks, doesn't stand out as a super special color but its a useful one to have for a slightly dramatic daytime look.
This is a beautiful, creamy and opaque gloss. A deep red that goes on very smooth, but quite pigmented as well. Almost a garnet color, it is very dramatic and lovely and avoids that plum color that dark reds can sometimes take on (which I don't really like, lol) If you seek a deep bloodred lippie, this is a great gloss!
A lovely, slightly shimmery true red. Semi-sheer but still opaque enough to make the color noticeable. I'm a huge fan, this is shimmery without being gritty and bright but not bozo the clown bright. :) would def repurchase. A staple gloss.
a shimmery/frosty champagne color, with a nude or beige base to it. I like it, a lovely finish for a nude lip. I like the formula, shimmery but not at all gritty. This goes on smooth and isn't sticky.
