This is my go-to drugstore foundation. I use it when my HE foundations disappoint me. I love the way this foundation applies, I only use my fingers. It has good enough coverage, but I still use a concealer because I have terrible skin. It wears off a little by the end of the day, and I get oily, those are the only reasons that I'm still on the hunt for my HG foundation. I even like the way this foundation smells.

Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation

It took me two bottles of this foundation to realize that it was the cause of my breakouts. I heard great reviews from several beauty gurus, so I was eager to try it out. My biggest disappointment was that it slid right off my face, and I was extremely oily by the end of the day. I still needed a concealer to cover up bad areas. I just want to find a foundation that makes me confidence. I want to cry because this is so frustrating.

Foundations -Tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-hour Full-Coverage Foundation SPF 15

This foundation was recommended to me by a Sephora salesperson, I hadn't previously heard anything about it, so I was willing to try it. I like the idea of this "amazonian clay" foundation. It has nice consistency and it applied well with a brush. I only wish this foundation did a better job of staying matte and controlling oil. I think that is the main reason I'm not extremely impressed by it. I'm still on a search for my perfect foundation. **I re-tried this foundation and was more impressed with it than I remember! I might stick with this one for a while.

Foundations -Hourglass - Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation

I was so so excited to try out this foundation. The main reason I purchased it was to control oiliness. But luckily, I decided to test it out before I wore it in public. The shade shell was did not match my skin AT ALL. This could partially be my fault, but I can't imagine anyone being that orange.. This foundation has an okay coverage, which is what I expected. A concealer is definitely needed to cover blemishes and acne scars. Unfortunately my skin is going through a dry phase right now, so this foundation looked horrendous. I also made the mistake of applying this with my fingers...major no-no. Once it turned to powder, it was impossible to blend out. Ultimately, this foundation was a disaster for me. It would be ideal for someone with smooth skin and few blemishes. I'm so disappointed. I NEED TO FIND A GOOD FOUNDATION!
