Powder -Cle de Peau - Powder Foundation SPF 21

Disappointing for the high price. My skin is normal/dry and i used Chanel Vitalumiere before this. CDP offers more coverage and lasts longer than Chanel, but CDP's finish is too cakey and on days when my skin is drier, the powder settles into my pores and dry patches, making them more obvious. After using CDP, i've also had friends asking why my makeup is more cakey or not well blended. I never had that when I was wearing Chanel. Perhaps it may suit oilier skin types but it sure doesnt suit me & I'm not repurchasing.

Treatments -Estee Lauder - Nutritious Vita-Mineral Radiance Serum
rachaelrapunzel 9/10/2008 5:17:00 AM
I got a sample of this & used it over 3 nights under my night moisturizor. It gave me a radiant glow each morning, as though I had 10 hours of sleep! (when I had only 6hrs each night) That convinced me to rush out there to buy the full-sized bottle. For the first week, it did give me a nice rosy glow each morn but sadly by the 2nd week, the radiant effect ceased. So I stopped the product for a month & the next time I tried it, the glow came back again although the effect was not as good as the first time I tried it. Perhaps the “nutrients” in the serum get less effective over time due to exposure? Or could this be a one-hit wonder? Nevertheless, I’m finishing my 1st bottle & will repurchase a 2nd bottle in the hope that I can get back that amazing glow which I got when I first started.

Makeup Brushes -Bobbi Brown - Kabuki
rachaelrapunzel 6/14/2007 2:55:00 AM
I totally agree with svandeke. Bobbi Brown brushes are terrible! They shed hair like crazy & I have to spend an extra 5 mins every morning just to remove the hairs that land on my face each time I sweep the brush over my face. And I am NOT exaggerating about the time. About 10-20 fine hairs will be stuck on my face each time I use the brush, which is so hard to remove, coz it has been "plastered" onto my face due to the sunscreen, which means I can't sweep these hairs off my face easily & 've to use my fingernails to gingerly "peel off" each one, which is such a chore each morning when I've to rush for work!! This is the 2nd brush I'm using, as I brought the 1st back for an exchange at the BB counter, after explaning to them about the hair-shedding prob. Sadly, the 2nd one was good for about a week & started shedding hairs again. For such a prestigious brand like BB, I really expected something better, especially for the high price I paid. Never again. I'm going to buy a new MAC brush this evening...
