Lip Gloss -Bare Escentuals - 100% Natural Lipgloss in Pomegranate

This gloss is a nice, natural red that I like to wear to work - it helps me look polished without standing out as a "going out" red lipgloss. It has decent staying power. However, the packaging really needs some improvement. For some reason, when I put the cap back on, product seeps out of the tube where it meets the cover. Not only do you lose product, but it creates an awful mess. If you attempt to throw this in your purse after using it, without wiping the exterior, it will leave you with a sticky mess. It's really annoying. And for that reason I will probably look to get my next gloss from Clinique.
Conditioner -TRESemme - Climate Control Conditioner

This stuff is awesome. I honestly never thought condition made that much of a difference - aside from those that are too oily and weigh hair down. But, this product does exactly what it says it will and is dirt cheap. I have thick, long hair that is a bit wavy. It can get a bit frizzy or just refuse to lay right, according the weather. I live in DC (humidity with a dash of pollution), and this product essentially makes my hair immune to the weather. It makes it smooth, keeps it smooth all day, and even straightens out my waves a bit. I can usually not get this type of look unless I straighten my hair, and who wants to do that everyday? This also works great for me all year round. If you live in an area with humidity, rain, and/or pollution, I highly recommend this product.
BB Cream -Maybelline - Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream

This product gets mixed reviews, and I think that has to do with expectations. This is not a full coverage product; so, if that is what you are looking for, then you want a foundation. I would also not confuse this with a tinted moisturizer - it is sheer, but not to the extent of tinted moisturizers. I do think you need to use a pretty good size dollop to get adequate coverage - too little and it really is too sheer and like a tinted moisturizer. I like this product for daily use, because it is quick and really does brighten my face. My skin is pretty good, but sometimes needs a little help with evening out and counteracting fatigue (I'm 27, but hey work and stress do show up on your face). I wear this to work, but I do use concealer and powder as well. On days that I am not too tired, this will work under my eyes, but most days it's not enough. And, I would probably never wear this without power, as I find it to be too dewy. However, with power (which I would use anyway), it makes my skin look luminous and healthy, but not oily. I find the staying power to be pretty good and it doesn't seem to make my combination skin any more oily than other foundations. I will continue to use this product, because it is so quick and easy and really perks up my complexion.
I love this face wash. I have sensitive, combination skin, but I'm an athlete, so at the end of the day I want something that is going to take off all the makeup, sweat, and dirt. Well, this product does the job and without overdrying. I do need a good moisturizer to follow up, but that's true for me with most face washes. My skin is also acne prone and this helps keep my pores clear. I don't think it would cure acne problems (I think an allover medication is best for that), but it's a key part to a regime of keeping my face clean of oil, dirt, and bacteria.
Cleansers -L'Oreal - Visibly Clean Foaming Cream Scrub Cleanser

This product smells nice and feels good to use, but I just don't think it cleans my skin well enough. I don't wear much makeup, but I'm active and have combination skin, so it's oily in places. When I used my astringent after washing, the cotton ball had too much dirt on it for my liking. Also, I'm not sure that using a scrub cleanser everyday is good for my skin. Sometimes I felt like I might be irritating it. However, after washing a few times, it did leave my skin looking quite radiant. So, if your skin isn't sensitive and you don't need a lot of cleaning power, this could be a good cleanser for you.
This a great product if used correctly. It is rare to find a potted creme concealer in the pharmacy. And, it's even better that it comes with two shades which can be used alone or together to create a custom color. It is important to understand that this is a heavy duty concealer. It is thick and sets with a drier finish than most wand concealers; that said, use sparingly and with a light hand. The product is not sheer, so the biggest mistake you can make is overapplying. However, when you mix the product correctly and apply it directly on the offending flaw (pimple, scar, dark circles) it covers immpecably. Remember, less is more.
Cleansers -Clearasil - Total Control Deep Pore Cream Cleanser

I used this product for three weeks with only so so results. This is a good cleanser but did not do much for my acne, nor did it make my skin any less oily (as the product claims). The product itself is a creamy cleanser with small, smooth exfolliating beads that are pleasant on the skin. The cleanser washes off well without any feeling of residue. I have combination skin which tends to be oily with a dry surface in places, and I did not notice any irritation or dryness occurring with this product's use; however, I would recommend using a moisterizer. I would recommend this product if you have had luck with products containing salicylic acid. I have not, and that is probably why this product did little for my skin.
Treatments -Sally Hansen - Creme Hair Remover for Face
quicksilverz 7/22/2003 8:20:00 PM
This product works quickly and irritates my skin only mildly. Compared to Nair--which made my skin raw in places--it is far superior. I left the product on my skin for 5 minutes, it removed all the hair, and my skin had only a slight tingly sensation after use. I will continue to use Sally Hansen products; there is no one better for hair removal for sensitive skin.
Cargo duo lip glosses may be pretty, but they are a rip off. The gloss has a vaseline consistency which I don't find very appealing. And, while the tin looks big, it is actually not as deep as it appears, so you get roughly half the product that you would expect by looking at the container. Save your money. You can get much cheaper and, in my opinion, nicer lip glosses at the drug store.
Mascara -Revlon - Colorstay lash tint [DISCONTINUED]

This is not a miracle product, but it is a good thing to have around for fair haired girls. I have light lashes and hate not wearing mascara, but I have never liked waterproof mascara. I put this on and I can swim all day and even rub my eyes and there is no racoon effect. This product is very natural looking (a little more natural than I would like), as it is only a lash tint. And, it takes a little practice in applying so that it doesn't clump. Overall, a good option if you have light lashes and don't want to do anything so drastic as dying them.
This is the only mascara I use. It works exactly as advertised. My lashes are full and soft with no clumps. Note: When applying do not wait for the product to dry between coats; apply in quick succession or the mascara will clump.
I know practically everyone loves these things, but I must say I was not satisfied. I have acne prone skin and thought this would do my skin good--what's better than exfoliation? I bought the combination skin cloths and found them to be too harsh and drying. The rough side of the cloth did not feel pleasant on my skin and I think it irritated my skin, because I began to break out more. Also, I noticed that the under eye area became very dry. Girls with sensitive, acne prone skin beware.
I love this lip gloss! My favorite is celestial strawberry, which gives the perfect not too pink not too red color. This stuff is glossy, moisturizing, very pretty, and smells great. My only gripe is that if you over apply it has a tendency to clump up slightly in the corner of your mouth; however, I think they may have actually fixed this problem because the new one I bought doesn't do this. A must have and a great buy!
