Conditioner -Ojon - Ultra Hydrating conditioner
rated 4 of 5

I received several samples of this from Sephora and immediately went out and bought it after using it for a week. I have medium-long length, color treated, curly hair that I blow dry or hot iron almost everyday. Immediately after rinsing it out, I noticed a difference. My hair felt silkier and completely moisturized.

I was able to skip my normal detangling spray because I could easily brush through my hair after using this conditioner. My hair partially air dried into soft, manageable, frizz-free (w/ the help of Oscar Blondi Jasmine Serum) curls and I blew it fully dry. My hair was shiny (which it never is), frizz-free, and bouncy. It still looked as good the second day and wasn't greasy or weighed down.

Overall, I'm really happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone who has hair that tangles easily or is hard to manage. I took one star off for scent because while it isn't horrible, it is omnipresent (I can even smell it after the 2nd day).

Polishes -OPI - Malaga Wine
rated 5 of 5
queserasera 10/21/2007 6:57:00 PM

I love Malaga Wine; it is a great year-round red. It is a beautiful dark blue-ish red. I love that it is shiny without being shimmery. Additionally, OPI has remade their brushes and it makes using their nail polishes really easy, even for amateurs like myself. Two coats of Malaga Wine lasts on my nails for about 6 days with Poshe top coat.

Highlighters -Becca - Angel Pressed Shimmer Powder
rated 4 of 5
queserasera 9/17/2007 7:31:00 PM

Angel is a lovely light pink highlighter that imparts a subtle glow on my PPP skin. It is slightly shimmer and doesn't have the harsh glitter that some highlighters have. Angel looks amazing on the top of my cheekbones and really adds dimension to my face. For reference, I am NC20, MUFE Face and Body 20, hazel eyes, light brown hair.

Eyeliner -MAC - Kohl Power in Raven
rated 3 of 5
queserasera 9/17/2007 7:23:00 PM

Raven is one of MAC's new Kohl Power eyeliners, released with the Smoke Signals Collection (September 2007). First of all, Raven, is a blackened reddish-plum with a slight, shimmery sheen. The color is absolutely gorgeous and a great alternative to black eyeliner, especially for the daytime. It reminds me of MAC's Beauty Marked eyeshadow. The shimmer is a bit more apparent in Raven than it is in the other Kohl Power liners. This one did irritate my eyes when applied in the waterline, unlike Feline, Orpheus, and Mystery. Raven has a lovely soft texture and applies very smoothly, without tugging on the skin. My issue with this product is its staying power. Because it is so soft, it migrates off my eyes and onto everywhere else. I have to reapply this product several times a day for it to look as good as it did in the morning. This is definitely not a product to wear in the heat, out at night, or anywhere you may be sweating. For reference, I am NC20, MUFE Face and Body 20, hazel eyes, light brown hair.

Eyeliner -MAC - Kohl Power - Mystery
rated 3 of 5
queserasera 9/17/2007 7:18:00 PM

Mystery is one of MAC's new Kohl Power eyeliners, released with the Smoke Signals Collection (September 2007). First of all, Mystery, as the other reviewers have so aptly described, is a blackened teal with a slight, shimmery sheen. The color is absolutely gorgeous and a great alternative to black eyeliner, especially for the daytime. The shimmer is very subtle and totally wearable--not glittery at all. Mystery has a lovely soft texture and applies very smoothly, without tugging on the skin.

Eyeliner -MAC - Kohl Power Eye Pencil in Feline
rated 3 of 5
queserasera 9/17/2007 7:14:00 PM

Feline is one of MAC's new Kohl Power eyeliners, released with the Smoke Signals Collection (September 2007). First of all, Feline is the blackest black with a slight sheen. The color is the most perfect color for dramatic eyelining (if that's a word). Feline has a lovely soft texture and applies very smoothly, without tugging on the skin. My issue with this product is its staying power. Because it is so soft, it migrates off my eyes and onto everywhere else. I have to reapply this product several times a day for it to look as good as it did in the morning. This is definitely not a product to wear in the heat, out at night, or anywhere you may be sweating. I prefer MUFE's Aqua Eyes in Star Black 1L for a similar effect. The Star Black is not quite as dark but lasts an entire day without reapplying. For reference, I am NC20, MUFE Face and Body 20, hazel eyes, light brown hair.

Eyeliner -MAC - Kohl Power in Orpheus
rated 4 of 5

Orpheus is one of MAC's new Kohl Power eyeliners, released with the Smoke Signals Collection (September 2007). First of all, Orpheus, as the other reviewers have so aptly described, is a blackened gold with a hint of olive with a slight, shimmery sheen. The color is absolutely gorgeous and a great alternative to black eyeliner, especially for the daytime. The shimmer is very subtle and totally wearable--not glittery at all. Orpheus has a lovely soft texture and applies very smoothly, without tugging on the skin. My issue with this product is its staying power. Because it is so soft, it migrates off my eyes and onto everywhere else. I have to reapply this product several times a day for it to look as good as it did in the morning. Lipstick -Besame - Enchanting Lipstick
rated 5 of 5
queserasera 6/24/2007 3:05:00 PM

I have to preface my comments by saying that I am not a lipstick fan normally. I have big lips and I have a hard time finding lipsticks that don't dry my lips out terribly or make me look like a clownish freak. I adore the Besame lipsticks! I have Cherry Red (dark, rich cherry shade), Red Hot Red (name doesn't lie, definitely a bright, cinnamon candy red), and Merlot (described as "brown red" but on me it is more of a dark, berry red). The lipsticks are matte, nondrying, and apply smoothly and evenly. I can even use them (with a lipbrush) as lipliner. Overall, I am extremely impressed with their staying power and the quality and pigmentation of these lipsticks. I would definitely repurchase and look forward to buying additional colors. For reference: NC20, hazel eyes, brown hair

Lip Gloss -Besame - Lip Glaze
rated 5 of 5
queserasera 6/24/2007 2:51:00 PM

I have the Besame Lip Glaze in Chocolate and it is wonderful! I got it as a free sample and was instantly put off by the color in the packaging. It looks like a silvery dark brown in the bottle but on it makes my very pigmented lips a nice medium pink with a slight sparkle. It is also a great color to tone down a too bright or too dark lipstick. The sample is a small bottle and has a brush applicator. When the product comes out of the bottle, it looks like it might be too sticky but when actually applied, it is a nice consistency--just sticky enough to last a long time but not sticky enough to cement your lips shut (MAC style). I would definitely purchase this and other colors from Besame. For reference, I am NC20 with hazel eyes and brown hair.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Mega Lipgelee
rated 3 of 5
queserasera 6/18/2007 8:17:00 PM

Mega Lipgelee is a very cool lavender color with a silvery sheen. The texture of this is great: light, unsticky, and moisturizing. If you like the texture and feel of Lipgelees in general, you will not be disappointed by Mega. Despite all this, Mega is not the most flattering lip color on me. It looks like a silvery nude on me. My recommendation would be to try it in the store before buying it. It is a beautiful color in the tube but may not work with everyone's skintone. For reference, I am NC20 with very pigmented lips. I have brown hair and hazel eyes.

Lip Gloss -Chanel - Sungold Glossimer
rated 4 of 5

Sungold Glossimer is a beautiful coral with gold sparkles. The color is very pretty and the sparkles give great dimension to the lips. This is a great summer lip color. For reference: NC20, hazel eyes, brown hair.

Moisturizers -Desert Essence - Jojoba Oil - 100% pure
rated 5 of 5
queserasera 2/16/2007 10:22:00 AM

This has worked wonders for my dry winter scalp. I massage it into my scalp a half hour (minimum) before I get in the shower, two times a week, and miracle of miracles, I don't have the flaky scalp I normally have. I also really like to use it to remove my eye makeup at night. I don't have to rip all my eyelashes out to remove mascara with this product and I've stopped using an expensive eye cream at night because this moisturizes really well. Additionally, it works really well for removing excess wax from my eyebrows and bikini area. The bottle is absolutely terrible but for $6.99, can I really complain? I would definitely repurchase this. It is incredibly effective and lasts for a good amount of time.

Blush -Becca - Cream blush in Wild Orchid
rated 5 of 5
queserasera 2/11/2007 11:28:00 PM

Color: Beautiful, cool, plummy pink. Texture: Very moist cream. I apply this blush very lightly with a MAC 187 brush. It is very pigmented so I have to be careful not to apply it too heavily as I am pretty fair skinned but it does fade from the initial application, so put I apply it a little bit darker then I would actually like. Then, I set it with MUFE Super Matte Loose Powder and the color lasts all day. Would definitely repurchase. For reference, I am NC20, hazel eyes, brown hair.

Polishes -Chanel - #66 Vanity
rated 4 of 5
queserasera 2/11/2007 11:04:00 PM

Color Description: Matte, bright, not-subtle Barbie pink. Texture: Thicker than the average nail polish but it covers nails completely. Very opaque. This is such a fun color, I would definitely rebuy.

Eye Shadow -Unlisted Brand - Bombshell Bath Mermen Loose Eye Shadow
rated 4 of 5
queserasera 11/24/2006 10:08:00 AM

A beautiful, highly pigmented turquoise blue. In real life, I think it is slightly more greenish than blue but very pretty. It has a very fine sparkle in it, not too noticeable and if applied lightly is very wearable in everyday life. Would definitely rebuy, but probably won't have to for a long time b/c a little goes a long way.
