The dark brown color is great. I like the idea of the brush attached to the pencil. I also like the texture; it isn't hard like a pencil. It's more like a cream pencil. BUT, I hate that it isn't a self-sharpening pencil, nor can it be twisted to get more of the product. Just like another reviewer had said, I also tried to twist different parts of the pencil. Since it is plastic, I never would've thought to actually sharpen it. But, I had to in order to get more of the product. However, sharpening it was a pain, and it didn't really sharpen the pencil to a point. Sure, it exposed more of the product, but it didn't sharpen it. Very disappointing. Definitely would not purchase it again.
Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow in Tough as Taupe

Love the color; on me it is a shiny brownish, silvery, light taupe. Good for daytime, neutral shade. It does have a shimmer to it, but it's light not overly shimmery like a foil. It is creamy and feels very light on the lids. It's not as thick as some MAC's paint pots. I always use a primer on my lids, so I can't speak for its 24 hour staying claim. It did stay with no creasing until I took it off at night, but not sure if it's the product itself or my NARS eyeshadow primer. Will definitely purchase the other colors. Glad to have something other than MAC paint pots, especially when on a budget.

Very impressed with the texture and pigmentation. Didn't think it would be very pigmented since it's not a high-end brand, and was proven wrong. Love the color and the shine/shimmer. It's not over-the-top or glittery. Also, had no fallout issue like some eyeshadows with similar shimmer. As for the staying power, I usually use a primer on my lids, so not sure if that helped it stay on with no creasing until I took it off at night. Already excited about getting the other colors, and possibly getting back-ups, just in case.
Unbelievable and so easy. It definitely gave my nails a polish shine. I only tried on bare nails. Followed directions of buffing my nails with the green side, then with the white side. And, viola...shiny nails. Love it.
Love it! Very much so, that I had to rush and get another set. Thankfully, my Wal-Mart still had a few. Love to use these instead of a jaw clip to put my hair up. It actually stays up, even though it feels like it's not there at all. I especially like that fact that I can sit back in the car and not hurt my head on the headrest, unlike when I have jaw clips.

Love this cream eyeshadow. I have plenty of other cream eyeshadows from MAC and Bobbi Brown, but also love this, especially this color. I don't use it as a base. I use it as my main overall lid color. I use Too Faced Insurance for my base. So, it hasn't creased on me and lasts truly until I take it off, but that could be also from the Too Faced. But, I love this shade to create a neutral look I can wear to work. Like I said, I use it as my lid color and then accentuate my crease with MAC's cork and a bit of cordoroy and embark on my outer V. It's been my staple so far since it's such an easy look that doesn't take me long at all, which helps some mornings. I can't wait to try other colors.
Misc Beauty Tools -Clarisonic - Pro Skincare Brush

So far, so good. Very impressed. I was worried about spending a fortune on this and not working. But, alas, it does, so far anyway. I made sure that I can return it if it was all hype, so I purchased mine at Ulta. I also got the set; it comes with various cleansers and other brush attachment for the body. I haven't used the one for the body, yet. I am reviewing mainly the one for the face. I am truly amazed and hooked. I read a blog a couple of days after purchasing this that said not to use it everyday because it can irritate the skin. However, when I do not use it, I can tell the difference. My face doesn't feel smooth and clean as when I use the Clarisonic brush. So, I've used it everyday now and have not experienced any irritation. I actually want to use it everyday now. I can feel the difference in my skin. I'm not sure I can see it, yet. I've only had mine for over 2 weeks now. But, I haven't regretted the purchase. I've also used the brush with the blue gel cleanser that came with it; I believe it's the one for oily skin, which I have. I can't say for sure it has diminished my oily tendencies. However, I think that is just something I have to contend with. I don't mind, especially finding out that it helps keep my face from aging sooner. Anyway, I really recommend buying this product, especially if you can return it if it does not do anything for you since it is very expensive. I love mine, and so far, have no plans on returning it.
Lipstick -Bobbi Brown - Creamy Lip Color - Heather Buff

Love this color and texture. This is by far the best "nude" for me. It's not "nude" as in brown or pale, that washes out your lips. It's nude as in it's not a strong color that pops. But, it does have a color to it that's close to my own. It's not quite pink, but not quite brown either. The texture is also very smooth and creamy. I noticed that it does lasts a bit more than other lipsticks (of course with limitation, such as eating greasy food). But, I only touch up once or twice a day. I love wearing this shade, especially when I play up my eyes. It doesn't wash out my lips, but it does tone it down a bit while keeping a bit of color. I just recently discovered to wear BB's Nude Glitter Gloss over this, and it really makes my lips stand out without it overpowering the rest of my look. Definitely my HG lip color.
What I look for in a foundation is that it doesn't feel heavy, evens out my skin tone, lasts more than a couple of hours, and that it doesn't make me look like a "grease ball" by the end of the day. Never tried any Bare Escentuals product before. Got interested in this since it says "matte" on it. Having oily skin, and trying almost every foundation ever made, I decided to give this a try. It also seems that people really like this foundation. However, I don't like it at all. It does feel light on the skin. And when I applied it, it did even out my skin tone. However, the shade - medium beige- was too light for me. But, the next darker one was too dark. I bought the medium beige because I thought being too light would be better than being too dark. My issue with this foundation is that it did not lasts long on my face. After just a couple of hours, my face looked greasy. When it seems like I put a lot on, because it is starting to look cakey, I still get the greasy look. I even use the primer that goes with this for oily skin. Really not impressed. Still on the hunt for a foundation that will, at least, keep my oily skin from looking more oily in just a couple of hours.
Eye Primer -Too Faced - Shadow Insurance, Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer

Have been using UDPP for quite sometime and love it. At times though, it seems too thick or doesn't quite blend in as well. But, I still use UDPP since it does make my shadows last through the day on my oily lids. When I heard about Too Faced Shadow Insurance, I thought I'd give it a try, especially since I've heard it is not as creamy. I have been using it ever since. I love the consistency of it and how it blends well. I also love the tube packaging as oppose to the "genie bottle". A little does go a long way with this product. I have bought mine over a year ago and still have some left. I did purchase a new tube when I had a 20% off coupon from Ulta a couple of months ago. I feared since I've had the tube a while now that surely I would be needing to replace soon. But, I haven't opened my new tube. There's still product in the old one. And I do use it everyday, except some occasional weekends (either Saturday or Sunday) when I stay around the house. It does make my eyeshadows stay on until I take it off (somedays more than 10 hours). That's quite a feat for someone with oily lids and could never wear powder eyeshadows before. Definitely a HG.
I have typical Asian lashes, meaning short and sparse. I thought the idea of "tubes" will give me the length I am always looking for and the volume. Instead, what I got from this is no length and no volume. I got the darkest black color: Blackest Black. Yet, it didn't even seem to make it darker. Very, very disappointed. It didn't seem to make a difference in my natural lashes, except to make them clump together and give the look of wetness. I feel my lashes looked worse. Would rather go back to my MAC Plushlash or even L'Oreal Volume Express. What a waste of my $10.
Since discovering this I haven't used a pencil liner. This definitely lasts until I take it off at night. And with my problems of having oily lids, this has been the best thing for making my eye makeup last. I use espresso, graphite shimmer, ivy shimmer, and cobalt blue. I use ivy shimmer when I am using green eyeshadows, and cobalt when using blue eyeshadows. Otherwise, my go-to everyday staple are espresso and graphite shimmer for nudes, browns, and grays. Really love this product. It is my HG of eyeliners.
Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)

This has become my HG. I couldn't possibly wear powder eyeshadows without it. Before this, I hardly wore eyeshadows since they creased, or worse, faded away (more like melted off especially during the summer months). So, this has become my saving grace. I hope they never discontinue this product since I cannot be without it. For me, it is worth the price for my eyeshadows to last until I take it off at night.
Thanks to the reviews here, I went and bought this lipstick and I'm happy with my purchase. I love the color on me (I have medium, olive skin tone). I've gotten lots of compliments on how the color looks good on me. It is definitely a good color for fall which is why I bought it. I've been looking for a reddish brown lipstick and this is it. It is a matte lipstick which can be a bit harsh. But, I use a clear gloss (MAC Lipglass) over it to soften it a bit.
