I bought this stuff after seeing the glowing reviews on here and unfortunately I have to say it's the worst thing I have ever put on my hair. First, the terrible stink. I actually found it hard to sleep after using this due to the incredibly strong washing powder smell that stays with you FOR DAYS. Secondly, it REALLY dried out my hair. A look at the ingredients list reveals it contains both Sodium LauRYL Sulphate AND Sodium LaurYTH Sulphate, unusual to have both I think, perhaps this also explains the overwhelming detergent smell. Leaving it on my hair for more than a couple of minutes actually made my scalp feel quite uncomfortable ("burning" sensation). Even my hands felt dry afterwards, like I'd washed them with washing up liquid. Thirdly, I didn't really notice any difference to my hair colour, and I perservered with it for 3 gos. So now I give up and it's going in the bin... It's a shame as I really wanted it to work, but not for me.

Self Tanners -Rimmel - Sun Shimmer Instant Tan Make Up (ALL)

This is great value for money. I used to use estee lauder which was becoming an expensive habit so I tried quite a few of the budget brands which were mostly awful. Then I found this - which is great! It doesn't smell too bad, is easy to apply (gel smooths on v. easily) and gives a natural looking colour. I use it on my face and body with no problems. Only downside is slightly tacky packaging - but then I don't carry it around with me so who cares?

Hair Color -Clairol - Nice 'n Easy Hair Color

I have been colouring (or coloring for Canadian/US MUA-ers) my hair for years and tried lots of brands but always use this now. As others have noted, it's the best I've found at getting rid of those brassy/yellow/red tones you can get with lightening - which my pale skin can't take. Think going more than one shade lighter than your natural colour at home doesn't work whatever you use, and the roots are too much hassle. I use medium ash blond, but went through a phase of using medium golden brown, both of which look pretty natural (see my pic for the brown one). Unlike everybody else I DO think it delivers "multitones" - looks much more natural than others I have tried. Have not tried Feria though as the colours look scarey to me! I use it every two weeks without fail and think my condition is pretty good as long as I get it cut regularly.

Treatments (Eye) -Olay - Total Effects Eye Transforming Cream

Have never really used an "anti aging" eye cream before, but after noticing some fine lines a couple of weeks ago, I decided to give this a try. Although I don't really have anything to compare it to I must admit I'm quite impressed. It has a peachy colour and a faint shimmer which really brightens up my eyes. People tell me I look well when I am wearing it even without make up - weird eh? Not sure if it will have any long term effects, but definitely has short term benefits.

Bronzers -Guerlain - Terracotta Bronzing powder

I have used this almost everyday for 6 years! Quite a few friends now use it at my recomendation. Do apply LIGHTLY with a large brush - a little goes a long way! I find that quickly rubbing my face with the palms of my hands after putting it on helps to even out the colour in the winter when I'm pale. Although it may seem pricey it's good value when you consider that each one lasts me a whole year. My only critisism is that the compact doesn't contain an applicator of any variety - so I have to carry a brush around in my handbag. Does have a mirror though. Don't think the packaging is that bad - although would be fabulous if they used the gold that Guerlain's Divinora lipsticks come in.
