Got a full-size of this in BRILLIANCE... I did not think I needed a new blush, as I have 2 from NARS. However, this stuff is so pretty on! It is a peachy-pink with a very soft glow that--while words can't really explain it--looks so amazing and I am now giving my other blushes away. HG.
Got a sample size of this... the cleanser seems fine. The muslin cloth seems pretty gimmicky, to me. It does not stay hot from tap to face, like a regular washcloth would. It removed makeup just fine, but nothing special.

Tried a sample of this... Like other reviewers, I noticed it had little to no coverage. Dewy, yes. Interesting peppery fragrance. Not for me.
Got a sample of this... it did not smell, did not rub off as instructed, and was basically non-eventful. Meh.

I received a sample of this and threw it in my travel kit. I am so bummed to be on vacation now and suffering with this stuff. I do not have sensitive skin, but this stuff burns the holy crap out of my face every single time I use it. Online reviewers seem to rave about it, but I hate it and can't wait to trash this before I head to the airport :( I guess it's uber-expensive, too.
While this worked, I was not bowled over in any way. I wore the booties after a long shower on Saturday. By Wednesday, the peeling had started (thank God it is the middle of winter, because it was not a pretty sight!). All peeling was finished by the weekend. While it was amazing to see the crazy amount of skin sloughing off from places that are not rough or dry--between toes, tops of toes, arch area--my feet are no more or less soft than before. I'll stick to my Microplane Foot File for better, faster, cheaper results.
Gels/Soaps -Nubian Heritage - Coconut & Papaya Soap

Always looking for luxurious-feeling soap that is not drying and smells indulgent... It smells like a coconut shake! The lather is so soft and creamy. And very affordable. Cruelty-free; ethically-traded ingredients: Coconut oil, shea butter, cocao seed butter, palm oil, coconut milk, papaya extract, Vitamin E, vegetable glycerin, essential oil blend, vanilla beans.

I received this as a free sample tube where you tear open the top edge, so I can't really comment on price or packaging quality. The product worked fine--nothing amazing happened after use. But my hair did get weighed down/oily faster than without, so I will not be investing in a full size of this.
Scrubs -Vasanti - BrightenUp! - Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator

I ordered this after seeing all the rave reviews... YES THEY ARE ALL TRUE! This stuff is amazing; I cannot believe the brighter, rosy glow in my complexion after just one use. I use this every other day (I leave it on for the recommended 2-3 minutes), and along with a spin brush once a week. The results are at least just a good as getting a professional facial, in my opinion. Love the packaging, too; easy to store in the shower and get out just the right amount of product. A true holy grail for me; I hope this product is never discontinued!

This was not the miracle-worker I had hoped for on my hair. BUT! It works amazingly well for my dog!!! A Japanese Chin, she has long-silky hair and really dreads the slicker pin brush. This alternative feels good to her and doesn't pull, so she's not uneasy when it makes an appearance. The design also makes it easy for me to handle while I'm brushing her. Who knew? :)
Highlighters -Unlisted Brand - PixiGlow - Fairy Dust, Moonlight Luster

This little tiny tube of highlighter (.02 oz) is $14! The packaging is weird and not particularly hygienic: it’s a Q-tip shaped swab that you dip into a tube of silvery loose powder. The applicator can drop a lot of powder, and makes it difficult to shake of any excess before that happens. In addition, the sponge/swab thingy does nothing to aid in application. I think this product is OK... I much prefer highlighters that have a hint of pink that complements my complexion, instead of this yellow-white stuff that just doesn't seem to look right with blonde hair and green eyes.

I got this as a sample and, while I almost never wear perfume, I love this! The scent is a mix of "crisp green apple, sweet mint, and warm amber." The hook is that it is supposed to help curb food cravings and act as a pick-me up... whatever; I just think it's a lovely fragrance for spring/summer. It is bright and lively and, when I spritzed some on my pulse points one evening, I could still smell it the next morning :) For some reason, it reminds me very much of Davidoff Cool Water for Men (which I used to wear a lot about 15 years ago!). Just ordered a full-size bottle.
Bath Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Alpha Keri Shower and Bath Moisture Rich Oil
qmsterling 2/14/2013 9:18:00 AM
Every time I am close to finishing a bottle of oil, I try something new for my post-shower skin. Alpha Keri is a great value; you get a huge amount for the price. The texture is nice and it does the same task that all the other oils do. But I cannot get past the smell... It reminds me of my long-passed grandmothers (both of them!), but not in a good way :( It would be nice if this were available in other--more modern--fragrances. That said, the scent of the oil does not linger on my skin once I'm dried off.
All of the previous reviews are spot-on. It does an AH MA ZING job delivering a flawless foundation finish, is a pain to clean, and spendy. But I love it. My only question is this: Does anyone have any comparison to make between this and the cheapy, wedge-shaped drugstore sponges? Curious!
Conditioner -Phyto - Phytojoba - Intense Hydrating Mask
qmsterling 8/8/2012 10:46:00 AM
My sample gave me weird "lion" hair, for lack of a better description. I have lots of fine hair, and right after using, my hair looked clean + pretty. But in about 8 hours, my hair was already starting to look greasy and--hard to explain--sections of my hair were clumping together in a way that made me look like I had way more hair than I had, but in a crazy, not-good way. I can even go so far as to say that it felt "rubbery." Yuck. Gross. In the trash it goes.
