The body spray smells like fruit loops mixed with cotton candy. I will never understand why they didn't keep these around.
I am OBSESSED with this blush in Celestial. I'm around N10 and very prone to irritation, and I love that I can apply this and blend it quickly with just my fingers to give my face some life. It goes on well on bare skin which is excellent for me as someone who has many minimalist days, and it is neither drying nor greasy. Perfect formula, and this shade is just a simply dusty pink, not too bright or too ashen.
This is my favorite drugstore lipgloss. I prefer it to Revlon Colorbust + Super Lustrous lip glosses. I have a tendency to be irritated or experience drying from lip glosses and balms and I have neither of these issues with the shades I have tried so far from the Stay Glossy line. This is one of the few lip glosses that I can wear without a moisturizing lip balm underneath. I will say that these are not particularly pigmented, but I find they do wear better than most lip glosses and they fade evenly without that dreaded ring of sparkle or pigment on the edge of your lips. They're not too sticky either, more of a thin, waxy, slightly emollient texture.
I love this stuff. It removes my sunscreen and make-up quickly and easily without drying my skin or causing irritation. I put a dollop on each cheek, my forehead, and my chin and massage them over my skin. I then take a wash cloth, wet it thorougly, then wring it out to the best of my ability before proceeding to wipe my make-up off. With any clean portions of the wash cloth I will then lightly massage my face in circular motions to give some slight physical exfoliation and be sure there's no ss or make-up residue left to cause irritation or breakouts. This leaves my skin soft and glowing without any need to moisturize afterwards.

This is my back-up facial moisturizer. It's not great but it will help with any feelings of dryness, itching, or irritation when I can't get my hands on my usual favorites, and it does so without breaking me out or causing further redness or irritation.
Moisturizers -Josie Maran Cosmetics - Argan Daily Moisturizer SPF 40

This is my current HG sunscreen. I have an issue with most physical ss as I find they tend to be drying, but the blend of oils in this one tends to keep my skin from getting parched and itchy and irritated. I find that it mattifies beautifully under loose powder (which I usually can't wear do to dryness!) and the secret is to use a large fluffy brush. That being said, if you're on the oily side, there are many physical sunscreens much better suited to your skintype. This isn't particularly whitening for me but I'm also n10. For reference, pure & free 50 and Badger Balm fragrance-free (the formula w/out essential oils) both were highly irritating and whitening on facial skin. I only wish that there was a higher % of zinc to provide slightly more UVA protection, but I take some comfort in the inclusion of antioxidants in this formula. This is unfortunately the best I can do in terms of comfort + wearability for daily, incidental sun exposure.

N10-15 neutral skin and this is my hg "red" right now. It leans quite orange but not really enough for me to consider it a coral.
Lotions/ Creams -Aveeno - Daily Moisturizing Lotion

This is my HG face lotion. I react to cetaphil, cerave, etc, and all the common recommendations for sensitive skin but this stuff is PERFECT. I attribute its goodness to the short ingredient list.
Mascara -Almay - One Coat Nourishing Mascara Triple Effect
purestfeeling 10/1/2011 6:52:00 AM
I have zero eye irritation with this mascara which is the best thing about it as a contact wearer. This product also gives me the best curl just from the formula and brush and gives quite decent darkening, thickening, and lengthening. The downside is that I find that the waterproof transfers quite easily to under my eyes even when I only use mascara on top and the tube also seems to dry out fairly easily. Would repurchase in non-waterproof to compare as I find that sometimes those actually transfer less.
Pressed Powders -Revlon - ColorStay Stay Natural Powder
purestfeeling 10/1/2011 6:45:00 AM
This is a huge no-no for anyone who is reactive to bismuth oxychloride. If you have no skin allergy issues, then I highly recommend this! It has just enough coverage that it can be worn alone to even out redness and slight skin imperfections, but it's not so cakey or thick that it looks poor over liquid foundation. I would use this every day if I was able to but alas, I am highly reactive to bismuth. :(
Bronzers -New York Color - Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder in Sunny 720
purestfeeling 10/1/2011 6:40:00 AM
I would recommend this to those looking for a matte bronzer but I find that this doesn't go on as evenly as other bronzers. It goes on patchy or can seem muddy in places if my "canvas" isn't perfectly matte and even. It's definitely worth the money, however, and I feel pretty confident that these small issues are probably less noticeable for those who aren't in the nw10-15 range. The tone is okay but I find that it still pulls a bit orange on me. It's about as great as they come for a fully matte drugstore bronzer however, and I think everyone should have this in their stash.
Bronzers -Hard Candy - So Baked Bronzer in Hula Hula

I love this bronzer. The color is perfect and it could only be improved by having slightly less shimmer but it's not a problem over matte powder. I would avoid layering this over anything that has a sheen or iridescence, however. I had a really shiny day when I used this over a loose PF mineral foundation that had some kind of sheen to it. My particular pan looks like it has some rather large shimmer "veins" compared to others so I'm tempted to buy another and see if it is a bit more matte. :3 Packaging is perfect and sturdy, no bullshit mirror or sponge or crappy brush to get in the way or add weight or further drive the price up. p.s. I apply it with the ecotools bronzer brush for best results!
This stuff is mediocre as a primer but is my HG sunscreen right now. The nude is just a tad orange so I tend to mix in a bit of standard mineral sunscreen to lighten it but reading below, it looks like the green primer can also do Good Things for the shade of this stuff. I recommend this for people who are about to throw in the towel with mineral sunscreen or sunscreen in general. USE THIS STUFF. It's definitely better than nothing, is not greasy or whitening, and goes on sale at ulta and CVS very regularly.
This is one of the few mascaras that I've bought twice. The primer is great but not essential. It is the HG primer for a lot of folks and it does work well but I like the mascara alone quite a bit tbh. The mascara formula is perfect for my tastes, even the non-waterproof, as it is quite wet at first yet it seems to dry quickly and not transfer. I get less smudge and flake from this in the standard black than I have from any other mascara I've tried. When I want more drama or I'm doing a mascara-only type day I use the primer and it gives me excellent lashes. One coat of the primer means I only need to do one thick coat of mascara and thus have no clumps to deal with but all the lengthening and volume. I find the black to also be very black, comparable to the "blackest black" in other mascaras.
I thought this mascara was terrible. It wasn't really dry or wet, just horribly waxy and thick. Not particularly voluming, definitely not curling, seemed to lengthen but it did so by clumping and pulling my lashes upwards. Very heavy but gave very clumsy definition. Would not recommend for anyone. I can't think of a single lash type or mascara use for which this is best suited. It's a shame the formula sucks because the brush is perfect.
