Lip Gloss -Mary Kay - Fancy Nancy Lip Gloss
rated 5 of 5

This is my all time favorite of MK's lipglosses. I don't care for the lipsticks (too waxy/perfumy and dry) but these glosses are fantastic. They are really moisturizing, not sticky and there is no unpleasant taste/smell to them. Fancy Nancy is a warm pink with gold shimmer, goes really well with shy blush. Others have commented on how similar both are to Nars O. I tried the Nars in Sephora and didn't like how it smelled, the MK smells like cookie dough. This would suit pretty much anyone and would be a good color to try if you're not sure which to get.

Tinted Moisturizer -Clinique - Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturizer SPF15
rated 4 of 5

This is not a foundation so if you are wanting more coverage then this isn't for you. Like all Clinique products, the choice of shades is very limited, but with this being so sheer, one shade can fit a range of skin tones. Clinique's website says they are repackaging this, at the moment it is in a plastic bottle with a narrow opening. I would prefer a tube so that you could squeeze the last of the product out. Blends pretty easy using fingertips and doing one section at a time. I like the dewey finish, doesn't settle in lines or pores, but it's very light coverage which I happen to prefer. Haven't been out in the sun with it yet, but it really does seem to protect from windburn and it's brutally cold right now. I do notice a kind of unpleasant odor from it during wear which reminds me of the smell of self tanners and I can only think it's from the sunscreen. No breakouts or irritation so far. UPDATE: Still liking this and repurchasing.

Skincare - Face -Mary Kay - Botanical Effects
rated 5 of 5

I bought the full line of formula 1 for dry skin. The cleanser is in a tube, it is very light and creamy, not greasy, and does not foam or lather. I find this removes my mineral powder makeup and I also find it removes non waterproof eye makeup gently and without irritation. The freshener comes in a spray bottle which you spray onto a cotton ball, I also find it's a nice freshen up if you just lightly spray your face holding the spray at a distance. The moisturizer is in a tube like TW and is rich, without being greasy or heavy, mineral makeup goes on well over it. The mask can be used as a mask, leaving on a few mins, or as a scrub, the grains are very fine. All the products are free of artificial dyes, fragrance and alcohol. Give it a try.

Treatments (Eye) -Clinique - All About Eyes Serum De-Puffing Eye Massage
rated 4 of 5

Updated Review: This was a GWP and originally I didn't think I'd purchase the full size. Over time, I find I am LOVING this. It feels so refreshing on tired, or allergic eyes. (Definitely plan on having it in my baggie for red eye flights). I don't have dark circles so can't attest to that, but it really does take the swelling out of puffy eyes.

Styling Products -Sexy Hair Concepts - Root Pump Plus
rated 4 of 5
pupster 2/2/2012 11:26:00 AM

I have very fine, thin hair and this volumizes without weighing down. You only need to use a small amout. The diffuser applicator is kind of worthless, it's easier to just spray into your hands and work in. Need to use at the roots and the mid hair shaft for volume before blowdrying. Results don't last long, looked great after blow drying but was flat again the next morning. For the price, I probably won't repurchase because I like Giovanni's root 66 root lifting spray just as well at a much lower price.

Liquid -Clinique - Superbalanced Foundation
rated 4 of 5
pupster 10/11/2011 12:14:00 PM

I wanted to try a liquid foundation because I'm finding powders too dry and caked looking. Picked this one from Clinique because there are 20 shades to go from and I am always hard to match. Very easy to apply, I just used fingertips, a little goes a long way and the bottle is easier to use than those tubes where you can squeeze out too much product. You do have to shake the bottle first. Smooths on very nicely, covers pores and evens out skin tone without looking too heavy - covers more like a tinted moisturizer. Doesn't settle in lines. UPDATE: I think this may be causing some breakouts and clogged pores after using for a few days. Other MUA reviewers seem to have experienced the same with this foundation.

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - retractable kabuki
rated 1 of 5
pupster 9/17/2011 12:02:00 PM

This was a nice soft brush until, like so many other reveiwers have reported, it completely fell apart. I have the other Ecotools brushes, with the bamboo handles and so far these have held up.

Lotions/ Creams -LUSH - Lemony Flutter
rated 4 of 5
pupster 9/17/2011 8:53:00 AM

Bought this to use on my cuticles, but it works for rough dry skin anywhere. I'm actually liking it on my lips because it seems to help with those little lines. You get a lot of product for $15 , so pricewise it's not too bad for Lush.

Blush -Clinique - Soft pressed powder blusher in Pink blush
rated 3 of 5
pupster 9/14/2011 8:55:00 PM

Got this in a GWP. The color is a very natural pink that gives a healthy glow to fair skin. There is no shimmer/glitter but it is not at all chalky looking. I wish Clinique would repackage their blushes in a circle or square instead of a rectangle so you can use a blush brush with it. Unfortunately, this line of blush from Clinique is very difficult to pick up with a brush, you almost have to scratch at the surface to get any powder to come off.

Blush -Mary Kay - Blushes
rated 5 of 5
pupster 9/12/2011 11:44:00 AM

These are lovely, sheer glowing blushes. I wish you didn't have to buy the compact separately, but once you have it, you can just buy the refills. I keep mine in the plastic box they come in and this works pretty well but I don't carry my makeup around with me very often. These retail for $10 for the same amount of product you pay $30 for at the Dept store counter. The mineral formula feels so soft and looks healthy rather than like you are wearing blush. There are bolder colors if you like a more madeup look. Right now my favorites are strawberry cream - healthy rosy cheeks look and shy blush, which kind of looks like Nars O but with a little less shimmer. Both look really natural on my PPP skin. The color lasts for ever, easily 12 hours.

Moisturizers -Mary Kay - Timewise Age Fighting Moisturizer
rated 2 of 5
pupster 8/23/2011 10:33:00 AM

I used to like this, not sure if they've changed the formula of if my skin has maybe changed, but it seems to leave a waxy build up and really irritates my eyes.

Blush -Clinique - Blushing Blush Powder Blush in Aglow
rated 5 of 5
pupster 7/21/2011 11:08:00 PM

I love the blushing blush line of Clinique because they go on so soft and natural looking. Aglow is a lovely healthy glowing color that warms up your complexion, looks really great with a tan. I use this with choco latte eyeshadow quad and red lipstick. This lasted through an intense workout on a very hot summer day.

Eye Shadow -Clinique - Color Surge Eyeshadow Quad Choco Latte
rated 5 of 5
pupster 7/21/2011 11:02:00 PM

Love this one. The colors really make blue eyes pop and yet look natural and understated, perfect for office wear. The shimmer is very subtle, no disco glitter here, and makes the eyes look brighter. The colors are cream with gold shimmer, taupe shimmer, reddish brown and dark brown. I like to wear the two lighter colors all over lid to brow bone and then one of the darker brown colors in the crease and lower lash line.

Gels/Soaps -St. Ives - Energizing Citrus Moisturizing body wash
rated 5 of 5
pupster 5/17/2011 9:46:00 AM

I am loving this stuff and have repurchased several times. This is formulated without parabens and phthalates. Love the fresh fragrance and rich lather, I have used it for shaving. I don't find it any more drying than other body washes. The only place I can find it is at Target.
