Treatments (Eye) -Unlisted Brand - Lilash - Purified Eyelash Stimulator

I was so ecstatic that lilash worked! Lilash surpassed my expectations. Initially i was apprehensive at taking the plunge and spending so much money on a gimmicky product with the potential at seriously harming my eyes. After reading and watching dozens of reviews and testimonials, I purchased lilash. I wanted to gradually build up the amount of product i applied, because i was afraid of irritation and skin darkening. My eyes are super sensitive so i barely applied anything on the fist couple of days. When i first used it i made sure to wipe the applicator so I would not get a huge drop that would run down my lash and into my eye. I was careful like that for the first two weeks, and can honestly say I had zero irritation or redness. in the first two weeks i could see a bunch of little lashes growing on my lower lash line! After the two weeks I started feeling adventurous, and adding more product by sweeping the applicator through my lashes and sometimes a second time over my lash line. The next morning my eyes felt sensitive and tiny bit pink, nothing major. I made sure to cut down and no more icky eyes. At three weeks my lashes were noticeably longer and thicker. At like four to five weeks my lashes went through this awkward phase where I had a couple of random super long lashes. It looked like i very badly/sparsely applied long individual lashes hahahaa. I refused to cut my rebellious lashes down and at six to seven weeks the other lashes caught up. I now have horse lashes, which probably start typhoons in other countries. Over all it is a fantastic product and i will recommend it to everyone!

Eye Makeup Remover -Chanel - Gentle BiPhase Eye Makeup Remover
puka13 7/5/2012 12:42:00 AM
this is an awesome product, because it does what it claims. I wear a lot of eye makeup, and my cleanser alone does not get all the junk from my eyes (not even close). This remover gets the job done with one cotton square. This remover can brake down even the toughest waterproof mascara and liner. BUT On days where i am wearing an excessive amount of eye makeup, i blot on some of the remover and wait a minute so it marinates to brake down all the makeup lol. Then i wash the grime away with soap and water. Because if I just used the Chanel remover and cotton squares alone, on days where i have on thick eye makeup, it would take me three squares to get every bit off. That does not mean it is ineffective or a weak product, its product distribution issue based on the cotton square getting saturated with color even though there is usable remover still on the square (weird wording, it makes sense in my head haha) All in all it removes tough messes with out irritating my eyes and making my lashes fall off (from rubbing) Does not leave an AS greasy/thick residue as lancome remover, BUT it has a stronger parfume to it. The chanel remover has a strong rose smell to it, which i enjoy but other people may not. To be frank olive oil will pretty much get you the same result while also promoting lash growth. The only downside is you can irritate your eyes if you use too much olive oil and it gets in your eyes lol

Treatments (Eye) -Giorgio Armani - Regenessence 3.R High Lift Eye Balm

Im on the fence on this product mostly because this is the first eye cream i have ever purchased so my opinion is based on a narrow perspective (i have nothing to compare it to /for reference). But i still know what i want the eye cream to do for me! My under eye area is kinda sunken (zero puffiness) which is prone to very fine lines. My under eye area and eyelid are dark. SO i am looking for an eye cream that reduces line and darkness. Usually what i did was put Nivea body lotion under my eyes and it would fight most of the fine lines away, but i was not satisfied with just that result so i bought the GA cream :) The GA balm cost me like 112 dollars with the tax, I think lol. Big price tag, big results... or so i thought. The GA balm came in a heavy little glass jar with .67 FL. OZ. I have had this little jar for 5 months and I am still not through with it. I hate that its in a jar, bcuz i have to use a spatula to get the product out (which i always misplace haha).I use the spatula bcuz i am a germ freak. The balm is very thick, a little goes a long way. There is no pungent smell, unless i stick my nose in the jar for a whiff and i guess it has a cosmetic perfume smell. The balm is a very light pink color, which in theory can help color correct the blue-green tone or dark circles. but the balm is not nearly pigmented enough for that purpose (as a color corrector). There are no sparkles or metallic sheen to the balm. In the mornings I dabbed on a very thin coat only on my under eyes (and lips, better than chapstick lol) My concealer worked well with the balm. At night I dabbed on a generous amount all around my eye area brow bone, lid under eye, lashes and lips. The cream helped some of my fine lines go away and some of the darkness on my lids. BUT not enough that I would go with out my balm and concealer! To be honest my Nivea lotion had the same result except the GA balm was not greasy like the Nivea cream can be. Over all its a good product not the best. I am going to try other brands, maybe ill buy it again idk.

Liquid -Giorgio Armani - Lasting Silk UV Foundation SPF20

I should have taken their claim of water based foundation as a red flag lol Water and oil do not mix. I have very oily skin (with hyperpimentation scars that i like to hide lol), which i have learned to live with. No single foundation is going to last for a full school day on my skin type. I get oily in an hour or two with any foundation, I do not mind blotting... as long as the foundation looks uniform after i blot! I understand there are trade offs with any type of foundation, no matter what the price. I washed my face, put on my chanel hydramax gel moisturizer then the foundation with a clean foundation brush. then spot corrected with chanel long lasting concealer After an hour i went to the bathroom to touch up This foundation separated into a blotchy mess. It oxidized into a weird orangey darker color. My pores were accentuated. I just washed my face and put on the Giorgio Armani powder foudation (which i love). This foundation was not for my skin type at all, but i still use other giorgio armani products. Just because i had a bad experience does not mean someone else might love it

Crème -Chanel - Teint Innocence Cream to Powder Compact Foundation

I hate that it is being discontinued :/ late review Even though i my skin gets oily with in an hour lol. That is just my skin (i hav learned to accept it... for now) I love the foundation because it is very saturated in color a little bit goes a long way. i battle with my hyperpigmentation scars, trying to hide them at all costs lol I have very textured skin (large pores, scars... gross) a lot of foundations look un-natrual and magnify the imperfections. Even though i do not get oily (as fast) with those types of foundations, i can not stand the way they look. I would rather blot my skin and look good than look unatrual and blot less often. I love the color selection at chanel, on the yellow scale rather than pink. My perfect shade in the winter is shell. The foundation is very emollient and blends like magic. Concealer works in unison with the foundation, after i place spot of concealer it meshes with the foundation in a very nice way. I do get oily, but i can handle it by blotting with a paper towel very lightly. The foundation does not separate and turn blotchy or oxidize into a ugly color.

Powder -Giorgio Armani - Lasting Silk UV Compact Foundation
puka13 6/3/2012 9:09:00 PM
This was the first powder foundation i have ever purchased, because i have scars to cover up so i usually go for medium to full coverage foundations. I recently came to the realization that it is okay for skin to show through makeup so i opted for this compact at the GA counter. My opinion might short-sighted lol The color i got was in 6 The color was not totally right was slightly pink (my skin has absolutely no pink in it.. if possible lol) I piled that powder on so the color was saturated The powder glides on face (with the sponge it comes with) Initially face looks smooth. My hyperpigmentation scars showed through, so with clean shadow brush picked up some powder and spot corrected (not smart haha) Has that pretty 'powdery veil' look. With in an hour i get oily, just a fact of my life lol The powder sinked into my skin, looked like i was wearing a light cream foundation EXCEPT on the spots where i corrected hahahaa the spots looked like greyish/dark yellow splotches on my face! I treated the powder like it was a cream foundation (not its proper function). I gave it another shot, i applied two EVEN coats with hyperpigmentaion slightly showing through. after it sank in. i got coplemented by more than one person "wow ur skin looks waaay better. What hav u done?" They did not realize i had on makeup. It was initially a bruise to my ego but then i looked at it a different way "Hell, i had on makeup that doznt look at all like im wherering something" It is pricey for most people, but in reality by comparing it to other designer makeup its priced fairly
