Scrubs -Alba Botanica - Pineapple Enzyme Facial Scrub

I really like this product a lot. The smell is pleasant and not overwhelming nor synthetic. The texture is really nice, perhaps a bit looser than I like,so I pat my face dry first.(be careful when dispensing not to squeeze too hard, the product can gush out) My face and neck feel so lovely and smooth after use,and never too dry. I use this about every other day and it had not broken my skin out.
Cleansers -Avalon Organics Botanicals - Vitamin C Facial Cleanser
pugmommy7 4/5/2009 7:16:00 PM
I really like this product. It is a great value, being organic and at a fair pricepoint. The smell is fantastic. I am not crazy about the pump for travel, but it works at home. The cleanser really foams up well and rinses clean. Perhaps a teeny bit drying for my skin-but I hate cream cleansers.
I noticed the positive effects of this product immediately. I used it on a burn on my hand it healed nearly overnight. I notice more even tone and supple texture. I use it everywhere and wish i could find a travel size. I was thrilled to have found this product in the US @ My local Target store in the natural beauty section. I love the ingredient list, and the lemon buttercream scent is delightful!
I really like the subtle illuminating quality of this product. Not shimmery, yet non too matte. It goes on sheerly and evenly to set makeup without falling unto fine lines. I like the little brush rather than using a puff for touch up's. The packaging is cardboard-which i like for eco-reasons,however time will tell,in terms of how well it holds up in my bag. The pricepoint is fair and the product is in line with good ethics. I am a fan.
Tinted Moisturizer -Physicians Formula - Organic Wear - Fair to Light

I really like the coverage, moisture level and organic nature of this product. I do wish the consistancy were thicker and it came in a metal tube. i am a huge fan of this organic line. My skin seems to be very happy with it as well. None I have tried thus far, has broken me out in any way:) This has replaced my foundation for the spring/summer 09 season. And it is an ethical no-brainer!
The brush took a t bit of getting used to,but I really love the final result. I am SOLD on the carbon black. WHAT a difference it makes! I have noticed no smudging or flaking. I would repurchase.
After reading the reviews for this product, I was reluctant to buy it. I have picked it up and put it back at least half a dozen times. Last week after being tired of being unable to blend my shadow properly for the last time, I picked some up. It was $6.99 @ Target. I am so happy I did. This product does on very nicely while even the tone of my eyelids. I only apply a thin even coat and pat it on. Although the color looks like a scary foundation color in the tube, once it is blended,it is quite neutral and sheer, although it does blend the blue tones and freckles on my lids. My shadow went on beautifully and stays all day. I actually find this works better than UDPP for me. After using UDPP my eyelids became sensitive and dry. I loved it for 2 years and may give it another try after a break(I love that UD is vegan). But for now, this product is excellent, easily accessible and performs beautifully. I will repurchase.
Blush -Cover Girl - Instant Cheekbones Contouring Blush - Peach Perfection

The color of this blush is what initially grabbed my attention. I have not used cover girl blush since my beloved high school days of Soft sable. This is a nice shimmery peachy/salmon blush. I felt the color payoff in the middle shade was quite good. The texture is crumbly and rough, but this is not jet milled pigments. For the price it is very good. I'd hoped for more from the highlighter shade. The color in the pan is really nice, but on, it simply dissapeared into the blush instead of adding a glow as I had hoped.
I recieved this palette from my BFF for Christmas since she knows I am a huge Too Faced fan these days. I really like the products but the set up is a pain. If you misplace the cello covers for the seperate compartments the product is semi exposed. It does stay closed well with the magnetic closure, however. BUT when you want it to stay open for application, it wants to close. The shadows are nice and quite versitile for a variety of looks in one package. The blush/highlight are wonderful and give a great buffed glow. The lipglosses are lovely, but a bit of a pain since there is no included lip brush. The pots *are* quite plentiful. In all I really like it but would not repurchase since I doubt I will ever use up a whole palette:)
Palettes -Too Faced - Quickie Chronicles - The Sex Kitten

This is my go to palette. I have nw20 skin, blonde hair(for now;) and blue eyes. I love the whole thing. This palette got me hooked on TF palettes and i now own 5. They are wonderful. i do use duwop shadow intesifier to get the green shade to POP on my lids. I love it! I would repurchase if I thought i would actually use up a whole palette;) If I were to,this would be it! I love the size and weight since it is no big deal to tote in your purse and have everything right there. Even the brushes are convenient for touch ups. the packaging is cardboard so if if does get dropped, products stand a better chance of not breaking. A+!
I was able to swap for this wonderful product,in order to try before I buy. I am very impressed. This works wonderfully for me on those shadows that look so amazing in the pan but do nothing on my eyes or have major fallout. I will definatly repurchase!
I think I have found hg. The main thing of note is how CLEAR my skin is. I started with the tinted moisturizer and some powdered foundation about 1 month ago. I noticed the improvement in my complextion in about a week. Based on that I decided to do for the foundation since it is winter and I am a bit dry. At first the consistancy took a bit of getting used to. It reminded me of my old EL maxiumum cover, that felt very similar to this, but more latex-y. This smooths on beautifully, does not accentuate lines and pores and really leaves me flawless. I MUST set w/ powder h/e since this is NOT transfer resistant. I prefer to apply with my finger, but I do so with all liquid foundations. I have actually thrown or swapped away the 6+ foundations in my traincase in favor of this and it's TM counterpart. I am a NW20 and beige ivory was perfect. it is a bit on the yellow side which evens my tone beautifully. I do not use or require undereye concealor with this product nor does it irritate my very sensitive eyes.
Lipstick -Laura Mercier - Pink Champagne (Fall 2004 Lady Luxe Collection)
pugmommy7 1/18/2008 11:05:00 AM
(pic in profile)This lipstick is a wonderful natural shade for my medium pigmented lips and flatters my nw20 cool-but-yellow-toned skin. I love it with a no makeup look and always keep it in my purse for a pick me up if I run out w/ only TM on my face. It is creamy, stays moist, lasts beautifully, and the color is luminous but has no shimmer. There is a SLIGHT hint of opalescence.
Highlighters -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish in Global Glow
pugmommy7 10/22/2007 8:46:00 AM
I think I have finally found what I have been looking for! I always thought I required a bronzer and never seemed to find one that was just right. I have gotten the closest w/ PF in baked tan. Still there was a bit too much opacity and I felt a bit cakey when i wore it,and achieved the color I wanted. When this batch of msf's came out, I thought it was beautiful, but "I don't need another bronzer". Also I have jumped of the bandwagon and bought so many msf's and swapped them away. Well something came over me while looking at Mac's site and when I went in most recently, i asked my lovely MUA if there were anymore in the back. She told me they had 2 left and they were to be sent back. i wish i had enough cash to have bought both!! I brought it home and played and found it imparted the most beautiful golden glow all over. i did not look as if i was wearing foundation in a shade too dark or bronzer that made me look fake. I will treat this like gold and hunt it down when I run out!
Mascara -Shiseido - The Makeup Mascara Base [DISCONTINUED]
pugmommy7 10/22/2007 8:22:00 AM
The difference with the addition of this product is astounding. It is smooth and never adds a clump factor whatsoever. I can't wait to try this under some seriously lengthening h/e mascara. It works beautifully under my HG CGVE and CGLE. Curl your lashes w/ the shiseido curler first and prepare for a perfect falsies look. This is a staple for me.
