I was super excited when I ordered this polish. The colour looked so rich and different. First off it was a pain to order as enourmous duty fees were charged after delivery (like a month later, claiming they do this in order to expedite shipping) and it took much longer than was expected. Once I got the package I was happy to see Recycle. A deep, dark but not blackened green! I have now used this three times and all three times I have not been impressed. It was a little tricky to apply, 3 coats were needed to even out streaks. And the wear was less than fantastic. All three times it was chipped within 24 hours.

Polishes -OPI - Baby It's "Coal" Outside

I love this polish! It is deep and broody without being boring. The shimmer just glows through the dark charcoal polish. It reminds me of the moonlight on a frozen lake. The application is great, not streaky at all.

Polishes -Nicole - You're A Star

Nicole You're A Star is a shimmery, fine glitter packed, icy-silvery white polish. In the bottle you can see the densely packed glitter. On the nail it appears as more of a shimmer. It is a cool white, leaning almost to a silver. The application was fantastic, not streaky at all. Three coats were needed for full coverage (I used this for a pedicure) but I think you could get away with just two on your tips.

Polishes -Nicole - Show You Care

When I saw Show You Care on display I thought it looked like a beautiful, deep shimmery eggplant. In the bottle that is. On my nails it is a shimmery, frosted purple with touches of gray in it. I am not sure I love this polish. It also took forever to dry, even with quick dry topcoat and drip dry drops I woke up with sheet smudges. This polish is similar in colour to OPI LPAM. It seems to me a mixture of LPAM and the new OPI Have You Seen My Limo?

Conditioner -L'Oreal - Vive Non-Stop Volume Conditioner

I got this conditioner from a friend who had gotten it as a sample. It seems to lather well and the smell is not bothersome. I don't find it dries my hair out or makes it do weird things. I use this on days when I want to wear my hair curly. I have really thick hair that is below my shoulders. Usually when I hot roller my hair, the curls are pulled out before the drive to work is over. When I use this shampoo and conditioner they last untill midafternoon. I do like that benefit of this shampooo and conditioner but since I colour my hair, I need a little more colour protection that this offers.

Shampoo -L'Oreal - New VIVE Non-Stop Volume Shampoo

Polishes -Nicole - Merry Merlot

Merry Merlot is a deep red with warmish gold tones and tones of microglitter in it. This colour was part of the Holiday 2007 Nicoles in Canada. The glitter in this polish gives it amazing depth. Even though there are warm tones in this polish I thought it looked great on me. I have pale, cool toned and very pink skin. The wear on this polish was great. I got nearly a full 5 days before any tipwear or chips. This polish was pricy, $10 CDN so I would not repurchase at that price but if I could get it cheaper I would. Oh and this is very close to Fingerpaints Rosy Cheeks from Holiday 2006, RC just being a touch cooler thank MM.

Polishes -Nicole - Boys n Berry

In the bottle Boys 'n Berry seems to be a duochromatic purple and greenish yellow. On the nail it comes out a muddy, slightly warm purple. I had a hard time getting this one to work on me as a manicure. I think it might be better suited to someone with warmer tones and less pink in their skin tone.

Polishes -Nicole - Empower-mint

In the bottle this is a gorgeous, iridescent, shimmery mint green. On the nail it is so sheer that even with 4 coats it is not opaque. I love the colour and can't seem to part with this one but I can't wear it alone either. Love it layered over blues, greens and black. Empower-mint wears great, with a good base and top coat I get 3 -5 days no problem.

Polishes -OPI - Lincoln Park After Dark

A gorgeous, glossy, deep black violet colour. This is the same colour as some "Queen of the Night" tulips that I planted last year. It is black in non direct lights but when the light hits you see the deep purple. This colour is not for the faint of heart but it looks phenomenal against my pale skin. The wear of LPAD is great.

Polishes -OPI - Lincoln Park at Midnight

If you are looking for a deep purple shimmer with a touch of frost then this is it. Lincoln Park At Midnight is a deep purple but not so deep that it is black. The shimmer helps keep it from looking too dark too. The wear from this polish was good, just what I have come to expect from OPI. I did find the application a little tough as the polish was a little goopy but a little polish thinner fixed this.

This might be my HG . It keeps my hair soft, doesn't seem to fade my color and the smell is divine. I love the packaging of the litre bottles and the smaller ones. I find that the smaller bottles stay closed well so they are great for travelling.

I have longer, very thick, wavyish hair. I love Manipulator. The smell is so yummy, I like that it lasts in my hair. I can use it in my wet hair and it gives me soft waves without frizz. If I use it in dry hair it tames any flyaways and gives me a nice piecy look. I keep trying other putty products but always come back to this one.

Conditioner -Pureology - Hydrate Conditioner

I bought this , on the recommendation of my colourist. I am not impressed with it. It made my hair feel dry and like it had a coating of dust on it when I used this as my daily conditioner. Now I use it once or twice a week and it is a little better but still not great. I have not noticed that this has helped keep my colour from fading any faster.I did enjoy the minty smell and tingle but I would not use this again, can't wait till I finish what I already have.
