I have both this and the original Smith's Rose salve in fact I did a comparison of them on my blog. I love this. I think the formula is slightly better than Smith's because when I apply this at night, it is still protecting my lips in the morning. I sometimes get cold sores and this type of product is essential to keeping my sensitive lips moisturized when that happens. I use one or the other of them EVERY night before bed and the results are beautiful, soft lips. A lot of people say this is just glorified Vaseline. I disagree, it has rose extract which acts as an anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant (beat that Vaseline). I have NEVER tried a better lip balm before these. There is one problem though. As much as I love the C.O. Bigelow balm, I can't get the tin open if I have the slightest bit of moisture on my hands. I think it gets worse during the winter with the cold temperatures but it's really obnoxious. That is why I went out to buy the Smith's salve which, by the way, opens like a dream. If C.O. Bigelow made this open-able this would be my HG product!

I bought the two (as far as I can tell) most popular shades: Bad to the Bronze and Tough as Taupe and the blue one (can't remember the name but it doesn't matter as it is not really practical for everyday). I tried, really I did. I layered them, I used primer under them, I really globbed them on, but they did not stay. The color faded by the end of the day, it didn't even last 8 hours for me. I loved the way they swatched on my hands. The swatches stayed on my hands better than the MAC Paint Pot swatches and Stila Smudge Pot swatches combined, but on my eyes they were awful. Tough as Taupe managed to migrate up into my crease so that I had two awkward gray-ish lines on my eyes by the end of the day. Bad to the Bronze was just barely visible by the end of the day. I wanted to like these so much. I tried them every day for about two weeks but it just wasn't happening.
I love this palette. The blush and highlighter work perfectly together, the colors are all well pigmented, and the get the look instructions are very helpful!
I just bought this product in Good Fortune. Now the MAC girl I spoke to was very specific about how to use this. It doesn't look its best plain or over primer, you have to bounce it over eyeshadow and it does wonders with the color. Good Fortune is a very pale purple-pink and it looks amazing with purples, pinks, blues, and browns so far! It creates a really cool look when applied correctly (with fingers) over other eyeshadow! Don't knock the product until you do it right!

I am on my second bottle of this and I love it more than any other acne product out there. I have sensitive skin and I was finding that anti acne washes with salicylic acid were too drying. Now I use a soy cleanser and then this right after, and then my moisturizer. It is the perfect amount of salicylic acid and it keeps my acne at bay! Sometimes it irritates my face but I just use my moisturizer right after and it is ok! I love this!
I really wanted to like this product. I just don't think it shows up very well on my fair skin. That's only the first problem I've had with it. Despite the fact that it doesn't really show up, I've tried it time after time because I don't want it to go to waste. It is hard to get out of the little duo pan it came in and after dipping my brush in it a couple times, it gets a strange pilly surface. I have also noticed the pilly surface in the samples at the store. I have not seen this in any of the other NARS blushes. It is a really pretty color but I'm afraid it just doesn't work for me. It's too bad NARS puts it in EVERY single one of their sets and palettes...
At first I didn't enjoy the smell of this product because I am very picky about what I put on my face, but I really grew to love it when i saw what it did for my skin. At $20, it is a much cheaper alternative to many high end brands I have tried for my skin. It is very soothing and hydrating for my extremely sensitive skin. I try other moisturizers and always come back to this one!
There is a reason that the Naked palette has sold out time after time. All of the colors, and there are a lot, are gorgeous and highly pigmented. It is a little pricey but well worth it. It even comes with a full size eyeshadow brush!
