Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder

highly recommend this powder if you don't want to spend your money on the mac studio fix powder! it's a great powder. you can apply as many layers without getting cakey. it's a good drugstore alternative :)
i like this foundation overall. it has a pump, unlike the super stay 24 hour foundation. the coverage is buildable & i can apply several layers of the foundation before starting to cake up a little. i always buff it out & use some fix + if needed. it feels like a tinted moisturizer on my skin. it lasts from 7 in the morning until night time when i wash & take off my makeup. i take naps when i get home from school & this didn't get all over my pillow case.
Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation

favorite foundation hands down. i love the packaging, minus the fact that i'm terrified i'll shatter it one day because i'm a clutz. it's extremely pricey, but i think it's worth the money. it has amazing coverage, feels great, looks great. what's there not to like about it?
everyone must have this palette. it's the one eyeshadow palette that every girl should have in her collection. there's no other value that beats this one. especially if you're addicted to neutrals. you can still create a sultry smokey eye with the darker shades in the palette, but this is great for anyone. even beginners who want to experiment at an extraordinary price.
Blush -Maybelline - Dream Mousse Blush - All colors [DISCONTINUED]

i don't personally like the packaging, but the product works so wonderfully. my favorite colors are peach satin & pink frosting. i always set it with a powder blush & i always get compliments on my cheeks those days! :) these are great cream blushes for beginners because if you make a mistake, the product is very forgiving. it's not clowny unless you go overboard. especially peach satin, it's very hard unless you're fair.
this was my second blush by mac & i adore it. i love the way it compliments my skintone. i apply it with an angled blush brush ontop of my bronzer. i recommend this product for the spring / summer time, though i have used it during the fall & winter.
i love this foundation. even more than the original liquid formula. i have combination skin & this doesn't make my t-zone look anymore oily. i used the sponge to apply the product onto my face & buffed it out with my sonia kashuk flat top / stippling brush. it gives me a flawless finish & it's one of the foundations that i actually like on its own. i layer a lot of my makeup, but i find myself wearing this one on its own. the only thing i don't really like is the netting. it gets in the way of when i'm trying to apply it with a brush, but saves me when i use a sponge. i rarely ever use a sponge for makeup, but i like using it to dot the foundation onto my face.
i don't like the tube of the mascara as much as the lash blast luxe, volume, & fusion because yellow isn't that pretty of a color. however, i do like the mascara itself. i have thin eyelashes & these lengthen them like they claim to. i usually wear it on its own, but i do like to layer my mascaras. this mascara doesn't clump, however it gives little to no volume. i recommend this to anyone who likes the 'natural look'.
i do like this mascara, but i started to like it a lot less as i continued to use it & branch out to other mascaras. maybe when it's a little more dried out it'll work better, i tend to like mascaras when they're dried out. the brush is ginormous & i always get it onto my lids which bothers me. the packaging is adorable, but it's huge! it's 19 dollars which i would never consider paying for a mascara especially since they go bad easily.
as for most drugstore brand eyeshadows, the packaging isn't the greatest. i chipped my nail the first time trying to open the single eyeshadows. they don't really budge easily. the product itself is so silky & smooth. it goes on effortlessly & blends wonderfully. i love this color, i'm sure everyone would compare it to mac's satin taupe. the only downfall for me is the packaging & the fact that the color icon line shadows are so soft they break very easily.
hands down this is one makeup product i cannot live without. the packaging is amazing, the product itself is amazing. i would save up my money & spend it on this if it was the only mac product i could buy. it's a build able powder & can give light to full coverage. it never cakes on my face & if it does, i spray a little fix plus or use my clinique toner with a stippling / flat top brush & buff out my face. i recommend this product to anyone. especially for on-the-go & touchups! i love the sleek black packaging & the mirror is decently sized. at least for me.
packaging wise, everyone complains about it. the packaging doesn't really bother me much considering it's the product that i'm going to be using on my eyes. they last all day long & never crease on me whether i'm using an eyeshadow primer or not. i don't recommend not using one, but i've done it before & haven't had any problems. these are some of the best drugstore eyeshadows i've come across & they're decently priced. i have mink, swiss chocolate, & several more. they're all highly pigmented and work wonders. there's a little fall out to these eyeshadows compared to mac ones, but you can easily get rid of that. they blend nicely as well & don't get muddy.
Liquid -Revlon - Beyond Natural Skin Matching Makeup SPF 15
princessandrew 3/19/2011 7:17:00 PM
maybe it was just me, but i absolutely hated this product the first time i tried it. it looked really dark on me & i got it in the color medium. i'll give it another try sometime soon, but so far it's not very impressive to me. don't waste your money on this product when you could get the photoready or colorstay.
Concealers -Maybelline - Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Concealer
princessandrew 3/19/2011 7:13:00 PM
i totally recommend this product & the maybelline 24 super stay concealer. they're the easiest to use because of the applicator & liquid concealers always blend in nicely. if you're looking for a heavy coverage concealer, you might want to invest into another concealer. i layer mine & i'd say these are at least medium coverage. they never cake up on me.
Concealers -Maybelline - Super Stay 24 Hour Concealer

i absolutely love this concealer! this and the mineral power concealer by maybelline are my two favorite concealers by maybelline. i usually layer my concealers, but these two cover up most of my dark circles, bags, & discoloration. i set them both with my mac studio fix powder or my msf natural. (:
