I bet Kat Von D actually uses this palette. It just screams "darkness." The vibrant blues and silvers are amazing together. There's nothing else to really say about this, the pigmentation is awesome, and this would probably be especially wonderful for the nightlife.
So glad I got this palette before it went out. The colors are soft & beautiful. I enjoy building them up to make a really dramatic look. Kat Von D always puts some amazing colors to use in her palettes.
Here's the thing: I would have absolutely LOVED this kit if it weren't for Nude Beach & Silk Teddy. They're beautiful colors in the pan but basically a big fat glitter mess when I try to apply! Other than that the rest of the colors are beautifullll. They go on effortlessly & whenever I'm in a rush I just grab this & get to work. I use heaven religiously under my brows, always helps give my eyes that extra UUMPH.
I don't get why this doesn't have 5 lippies?! This is my abosulte HG mascara. When all of my friends complain about their mascara & talk about shopping for another one I always recommend this & they all come running back saying that it's a GODSEND. I love this mascara, leaves my eyelashes looking thick, curly, and extra dark. I already have long lashes & when I put this on it looks like I have falsies on! Super sexy.
Highlighters -NARS - Highlighting Blush Powder in Albatross

I love highlighters, and this one was good. However, I felt that it was JUST good. Didn't seem to be anything special to me, because I have a million other highlighters that stand way better than this one. The white hues can be a bit too unnatural, compared to other pink or berry toned highlighters. It is a good highlighter though & photographs beautifully.
This is my HG blush in the winter, but I wear it all year-round. The berry hues give me a sultry, glamorous look that is a bit harder to achieve with bright colors. As with many Nars blushes, a little goes a long way. This is actually my absolute favorite blush although I wear it most in the winter (every day) & if you're thinking about it, don't hesitate! Go out & try it!
1 out of my 5 favorite blushes right now. I used to stay away from these bright colors because I felt like I would look like a clown no matter how light I used it...but the thing with makeup is if you're going to wear it you need to own it! This is now one of my faves, a little goes a long way which is great, but be careful...a heavy hand WILL leave you looking like a clown :)
In the past I never used blush. But this was actually my first blush EVER & now I can't do without it. It's a beautiful peach-toned blush with a hint of shimmer (not as sparkly as it seems in the pan) & it really accents my face and gives me this luminous peachy glow. Perfect shade for the summer.
I wasn't planning on buying this, but after a trip to my local Mac counter I couldn't pass it up! Personally, I love purple lipsticks & glosses, so this was right up my alley. If you're not into the "white lip" look, this probably isn't for you...HOWEVER, you can layer a pink lip gloss over it & I guarantee it should look beautiful! I wear this by itself & I also layer other colors of lip gloss on top. Love it!
I'm a sucker for matte reds. I tend to stay more towards blue-based red b/c orange reds clash too much with my yellow tones. I originally pre-ordered volga at my local Nars counter, but when I went to pick it up I fell in love with vesuvio, and left with that instead! This is just another great true red to add to the bunch, I feel as if it would wear nice on any skin tone & I'll definitely be repurchasing.
This is my one & only bronzer and I'm very happy with it. I have it in "baked' & although it does give me a bronze look, it isn't too overbearing or orange at all. it's actually perfect for me (NC40) & the glow I get while wearing it is stunning!
Lipstick -Yves Saint Laurent - Rouge Volupte-#19 Frivolous Pink

I guess not many people know about this beautiful color? It only has 4 reviews...anyways, this l/s is very creamy (not my usual style but the color is so stunning I HAD to have it). Sometimes I feel the pink is a bit too pale for me (NC40) but usually that feeling goes away after gazing in the mirror for about 2 minutes lol :) This is a very neutral, light pink. Very pretty, I can imagine it would work well on most skin tones....probably would look exceedingly nice on my pale girls out there (I'm not pale lol) but it really is beautiful.
years ago when I was highschool an MUA at the mac counter tried this on me and since that day this l/g & I have been inseparable. I'm NC40 & this gloss blends nicely with my natural lip color so I can wear it in the day, as well as the night. This l/g is an essential in my makeup bag.
When this was re-released with the In the Groove Collection I went to the mall at 10 am to make sure I got mine. I had never worn any mineralize skin finishes but hadddd to try this out after seeing swatches on makeupandbeautyblog website. I fell in love with it. It's now my go-to highlighter & the first time I wore it out to dinner with my boyfriend he looked at me in the middle of dinner and said "I can't believe how absolutely beautiful you look right now and that I am with you.." whether it was just me or by candlelight's magic..who knows, but something must have been right! haha
Lip Gloss -MAC - Cremesheen Lipglass in Petite Indulgence

I bought 4 tubes of this I think...I love barbie pinks & this is my No.1 barbie pink lipgloss. Coverage is semi-opaque & simply beautiful. Everyone still asks me which lipgloss I'm wearing when I'm wearing it...too bad it's no longer available for the rest of them!
