Concealers -Collection 2000 - Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer
prettygreen 5/22/2013 2:43:00 PM
I'm coming to the end of the tube now, and I don't think I'd repurchase. For one thing, I find that the concealer oxidises and goes quite orange after I apply it. I also find that it has an unnatural finish and it's obvious that I'm wearing concealer. It doesn't blend well with my foundation and I find it slightly greasy. The packaging is also a bit of a 'mare - the writing on the side comes off on your hands, leaving them all black and ink stained! I only give it three because it's highly affordable and seems to work well for everyone else! Perhaps it's just my nasty skin.

Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain- Romantic
prettygreen 1/24/2013 2:54:00 PM
I don't know why I held off so long on buying one of these bad boys - it's perfection! This particular shade is a really refreshing red that looks fantastic all year round and will look particularly nice in the spring instead of a harsher red lip. The colour isn't the only thing that's refreshing - the peppermint scent is delicious and the balm element is soothing and suits much better than a felt tip stain. Got it when it was on offer at superdrug for £5 instead of the usual £7.99, but I will definitely be purchasing another one at full price - which colour to go for is the only thing stopping me!

Polishes -Unlisted Brand - Models Own-Nude Beige
prettygreen 11/23/2012 2:06:00 PM
I love this colour personally, it's complimentary to my skin colour whereas I find most nude colours to be unflattering. Sister got it free in more magazine and gave it to me (lucky!) and I'll be using it again and again. I love models own nail varnishes, the brush and bottle are great.

Shampoo -Batiste - Dry Shampoo - Blush Scent
prettygreen 7/28/2012 4:18:00 PM
Hate it. I'd rather spend an extra pound and get a dry shampoo that isn't chalky and drying. I have a ton of fall out when brushing it through, it leaves a nasty colour to my light brown hair and the smell isn't very nice either. Received it for free from bzzagent and haaate it. Improved formula my bum! I'll stick to tressemme in the future.

Lip Treatments -Carmex - MINT w/ SPF 30
prettygreen 7/26/2012 3:32:00 PM
My go-to product for winter lips. More moisturising than the normal carmex, so best for very, very chapped lips and harsh winter days. Ace!

Lip Treatments -Carmex - LipBalm
prettygreen 7/26/2012 3:31:00 PM
I love my little carmex pot. I don't know if it's the cute little pot it comes in (I'm such a sucker for things like that) or how fantastic the product is. I used to put vaseline on my lips each night to keep them hydrated, especially in the winter when they chap from the cold and central heating. I found that it wasn't really working though, as it just sat on top of my lips rather than moisturising them. Enter carmex! I use the mint balm in the harshest of months for when my mouth is very chapped and just regular carmex the rest of the year. Perfect lips, no going back!

Powder -Collection 2000 - Sheer Loose Powder - Translucent
prettygreen 7/24/2012 12:04:00 PM
Fantastic! Dirt cheap (about £4), takes away shine and oil, last mosts of the day. Why spend over £20 for a product that is probably the exact same?

Eye Shadow -Superdrug - MUA (Make Up Academy) - Pressed Eye shadows
prettygreen 7/22/2012 2:07:00 PM
I adore these eyeshadows, they come in a fantastic range of colours both matte and pearl, bright and neutral. They are incredibly pigmented and last for hours. But the best part? These bad boys are a quid. One pound. I don't know how I only have 3 of these, I'm amazed I don't have a draw full! I adore them. Especially great for flash-in-the-pan trends - colours you know you probably won't be wearing next season.

Palettes -Sleek - Au Naturel
prettygreen 7/13/2012 10:00:00 AM
I love this palette. Finally found one in superdrug (it's always sold-out!) and snapped it up. The colours are great for creating a variety of different looks, whether it be a smoky eye or a neutral, softer look to compliment your eye colour. Love love love it. And for £9? For such a high quality product? Superb! Brilliant pigments, will buy again!

Lipstick -Revlon - Matte lipstick in Mauve It Over
prettygreen 6/19/2012 2:10:00 PM
Love it, love it, love it. I'll be hard pressed to find a colour that suits my skintone so well and the matte texture is also very flattering. It can wear away quite easily and can crack, I admit that, but for the price? You really can't go wrong. Definite repurchase.

Lipstick -Revlon - Matte Lipstick- all shades (new for Winter '08)
prettygreen 6/19/2012 1:51:00 PM
I have mauve it over and will be repurchasing it once it runs out - I wear it constantly, it goes with everything! My favourite lipstick hands down, will be buying in some other shades at some point.

Polishes -Barry M - Nail Paint in Mint Green 304
prettygreen 6/2/2012 12:07:00 PM
I'm sure there's slightly better quality mint-green nail varnishes, but you really cannot beat the price. It needs a couple of quotes and a bit of patience while it dries but Barry M is near impossible to beat in terms of nail varnish.

Polishes -Barry M - peach melba
prettygreen 6/2/2012 12:05:00 PM
I love this colour, I wear it constantly through spring/summer...it's the exact same colour as one of the roses in my garden! How posh do I sound? Anyway, it's a great quality for £2.99 (I like to buy Barry M when it's 2 for £5 or something like that at boots/superdrug) and it's a lovely colour after a couple of coats.

Liquid -Bourjois - Healthy Mix Foundation
prettygreen 5/28/2012 1:30:00 PM
I can hardly fault this foundation - what was I doing before I got it! It's absolutely superb. For starters it has a lovely scent, as opposed to the painty-smell. It's highly buildable, depending on whether you're having a break-out or want to even out your skin tone. I find it's best applied with fingertips (but I might invest in a real techniques brush soon). One of my very few problems with it is the colour - I bought 53, and when building it up it can get very dark. Perhaps purchase 52 next time. The yellow undertone in it is great, however. Also, the size of the bottle is quite small, but for £9.99 how can I really complain. Bourjois knock it out the park again!
