I bought this conditioner to use along with the Kerastase Oleo Relax Shampoo. I applied the conditioner after I shampooed my hair and I left the conditioner on for about 4 hours with a conditioning cap. Once I rinsed the conditioner out my hair was not tangled at all and my hair was extremely soft and easy to blow dry. Once I completed styling my hair I could not believe the difference. I looked like I had just stepped out of a salon. This is my new HG conditioner.
I decided to try this shampoo because my hair was very dry and it had started to break off. My stylist at a salon I use to go to would use these products and they seemed to work well with my hair. My hair is thick but soft and at times I have issues with dryness and frizz. A lady at a local spa recommended the Kerastase Oleo Relax shampoo because she said it helps provide moisture to your hair if you are having issues with dryness. The shampoo has a really good smell to it which is a plus for me and it also lathers really well. The shampoo left my hair feeling squeaky clean and very soft and manageable. I will definitely purchase this shampoo again. The shampoo it is a bit pricey, 28.00 but it is well worth it because of the excellent results.
Eyeliner -Urban Decay - Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner - Spandex

I received this eyeliner in my first swap on MUA. I have had the eyeliner for a while and decided to use it last week wtih a smoky eye. The liner goes on easily and has staying power. The liner is for use above the lash line. Spandex is a deep blue glitter eyeliner. This eyeliner was a great addition to a smoky eye and really made my eyes pop. I loved how my eyes looked with this eyeliner. I am so glad I swapped for this item. This is one of my HG eyelineres when I want a fun and flirty look.
I bought the Indianwood paint pot because of a review that I read on MUA. Indianwood is a deep brown in color with gold speckles. I use this on my lid as an eyeshadow and I used a chocolate brown in the crease. I also use this paint pot as a base for my Chocolate brown pigment. Indianwood is a beautiful color and I love it on my NC 42 skin.
I went to my local spa and used this nail polish for my manicure. The polish is a very deep purple so it looks almost black but in the light you can see the true color. My spa only carries Zoya nail polish and I love the consistency and the lasting power of this nail polish. It does not chip and it did not take long to dry at all. I usually use this nail polish for my pedicures and I was shocked that it lasted a whole month!!!! The polish is on the expensive side but well worth the price.
Eye Shadow -MAC - Paint Pot in Otherworldly (Alexander McQueen coll.)
pootiebear1031 4/11/2009 10:39:00 AM
I saw this paint pot on a blog and I was very interested in trying it out.... It is more of an aqua color and it goes on creamy. I wore this under the Haunting eyeshadow which is also from the Alexander McQueen collection. I lined my upper lash line with blactrack and this paint pot really made my eyes pop. I RIS and I am so glad I got to try this discontinued paint pot.
I sooo love shadesticks and I wanted to get this one because it is so versatile and I can use it with so many of my eyeshadow colors. Lemon Chiffon is a frosty pale color and it has kind of a sliver/gold tone to me. I bought this to use on my eyelids for a toned down look and also to use under my waterline. I used Lemon Chiffon today on my eyelid as well as under my waterline, Time and Space in the crease and Femme Fi under my browbone. I also lined my eye with Blacktrack. The complete look was beautiful. The Lemon Chiffon Shadestick really made my eyes pop which I love. I may have to get a backup of this shadestick.
I had to have this blush once I saw the reviews about it. This blush is a coral color on my NC42 skin. It has a little shimmer in it and it goes on really smooth. Looking at the blush in the pot I would not know it would be this beautiful. This may be my HG blush. I RIS from a very nice MUAer so I am glad that I swapped for this product.
I used this paint pot for my darker eyeshadows as a base. Blackground is black in color with speckles of silver in it. It is a nice creamy base and it helped my eyeshadows look more vibrant and not crease. I used this as a base for Silver Ring and Print and it made my eyeshadow pop.
I love this paint pot. Soft Ochre is a nude beige and it is great as a base for my eyeshadows. I have Bare Study but I wanted a paint pot without the shimmer. I also use this by itself on my lids and just line my lid with MAC blacktrack for a simple look. Also the paint pots have a lot of product and you only need a small amount which is great.
Eye Shadow -MAC - Magnetic Fields Eye Shadow from Neo Sci-Fi Collection
pootiebear1031 3/12/2009 7:32:00 PM
I was able to get a lot all of the MAC Neo Sci Fi eyeshadows and Magnetic fields was one of the eyeshadows I received. This eyeshadow kind of reminds me of satin taupe buy maybe with a little more shimmer and a tad darker. I usually use this in my crease with a lighter eyeshadow on the lid but today I just put it on my lid and also used it to line under my waterline and it was a nice subtle look. This is a very beautiful and versatile color so I am glad that I purchased this eyeshadow.
Eye Shadow -MAC - Paint Pot in Delft [DISCONTINUED]
pootiebear1031 3/5/2009 9:25:00 PM
I really wanted to try the MAC Parrot eyeshadow but since it is discontinued I decided to look on the MAC site and I was recommended the Delft paint pot as a replacement for Parrot. The Delft paint pot is a turquoise blue and it is very pretty. I use this paint pot under my blue and turquoise eyeshadows and it really makes them pop. The Delft paint pot can also be used alone because it is such a beautiful color. I don't know if it is exactly like MAC Parrot since I never had the chance to try that eyeshadow. I would definitely recommend this paint pot to anyone who has turquoise and blue eyeshadows in their makeup stash.
I wanted to try this lipliner when I saw a fellow MUAer had used this with one of the Hello kitty lipglosses. This lip pencil is a nice matte pink color. I can use this liner along with all of my pink lipsticks and lipglosses. Today I lined my lips and filled them in with this lip pencil. Subculture made my lips look so nice. It is not a neutral pink more of a soft pink. I wore Stila silver lip glaze over Subculture and wow what a combination. My lips look more like a pearlized pink. I RIS and I am sooo happy I decided to try this lip liner.
I had never heard about Demeter until one time I was visiting my ENT and he asked me if I was wearing DIRT. I was in shock but he told me about this line of fragrances that smell very nice but have these weird names. I was lucky enough to RIS from a very nice MUAer. I love love love this scent. It reminds me of Tutti Dolci Creme Brulee' and it also kind of reminds me of Rice and Shea Flower both by Bath and Body works. I usually pair this cologne with one of the above lotions and I smell so heavenly. It is a nice light scent but it last the entire day. I will definitely try other fragrances from this line.
I love pinks and neutrals as far as lipglosses and lipsticks go and Cult Fave is one of my favorites. It is a medium tone pink with gold speckles and it is a nice color on my NC42 skin. I would not purchase again because all of my lipglosses are starting to look alike.
