Ladies, you can throw away your sleeping masks now! I've been using sleeping masks from all sorts of brands for times when my skin gets flaky but since I am oily at the same time, I end up with clogged pores and huge acne bumps that stay under the skin for months. Decided to try this mousse out because of the great reviews and no regrets at all! Awfully oily upon application but i woke up to a much softer and yet firmer face the next morning. Price is great, shipping to Singapore within a week, what more can I ask for? Best. Thing. Ever.
Eye Primer -Too Faced - Shadow Insurance, Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer

It made my eyeshadow stay and does help the eyeshadow not settle into the crease but it seems to work better with cream shadows rather than powder. It got the powders all cakey and I looked like I had on a layer of colored flour on my eyelids at the end of the day. Stick with cream shadows when you use this product, works much better this way.
Eye Shadow -Revlon - Matte eyeshadow in Peach Sorbet

Got 2 of this at one time because I was looking around for a replacement for Benefit's Eye Bright as Benefit's pretty expensive here and I go thru the pencil really fast because I use it from the double eyelid line up to my eyebrows to hide my above-eye circles, and yes, I look like a panda all the friggin time. Coverage ain't too good but its easy to blend and stays put till late afternoon. Will go try out the other matte colors, price is pretty low so its not so hard on the pocket to experiment.

Bought Careprost from a website, used it with the eyeliner brush that they supplied with the bottle, unfortunately it turns out that my usually insensitive eyes are sensitive to this solution, stuck it out for 2 weeks with bloodshot eyes that made me look like I've got a bad hangover and although it is true that it made the lashes fuller, no increase in length whatsover which is really annoying because I already have pretty thick lashes and its the length that's bugging me. Gonna stop it from now because I don't really see the point of harming my eyes just to get longer lashes. Will go back to my B.Kamins Lash Fortifier instead.
Masks -Kiss My Face - Obsessively Organic Pore Shrink

Wow, for sure I will repurchase this mask again, somehow I just love the smell though I've seen on the boards that not everyone's a fan, dries up to a light green pretty fast and you can see dark green dots at where the oil spots forming, where the mask has 'pulled' out the oil from my nose and cheeks. I usually slather on my Kose herbal mask after this and my skin is so much firmer, pores are minimised and overall just looks great after these 2 masks used in conjunction.
Deodorants -Unlisted Brand - Now Foods Deodorant Cream

Worked like a dream at first, was so happy with the product and it did manage to keep me stink free for a few days in the beginning, even through the disgustingly warm humid tropical days, unfortunately it stopped working after 2 months. Guess I gotta go back to my L'occitane deodorant..
I have chin length hair so I suppose the bottle can last me at least a year or so since around 3 sprays will do the trick after spending an hour in a hot humid foodcourt or fastfood place wif their various food odours. Does not cause any greasiness and in fact it does impart an extra sheen to my hair. A bit expensive but considering that only a little bit is required, very worthwhile still.
Treatments -Frederic Fekkai - Technician Color Care Mask

Got a sample of it from beauty.com, oh my, just had to buy the fullsize cos its the only mask that managed to get my hair back to its original uncolored condition within 3 days. Great product!
Wow, this is the only AHA that I've ever used that didn't cause my skin to go completely bonkers, it gets rid of the blackheads that the BP couldn't. Been passing it around the office and my friends who are having bad breakouts, all the comments are that it flattens cystic pimples and clears blackheads, stat. Used to buy a half-year supply each time by my own lonely self, I think now I can easily get a few friends to combine and ship one big package to Singapore the next round, best thing ever, heads-up to acne.org!!
Been using this for over a year now, it is the only thing that can control my acne because its a hereditary thing for me, my dad's got icepick acne scars and my mum is still getting pimples even though she's hitting her 60s. My face is not completely clear but its much much easier to conceal the blemishes because they are mostly just slight bumps as compared to the huge 3-in-1 cystic pimples that I used to get. Even though I do get clothes that accidently get bleached because of the benzyl peroxide, it is still completely worth it, will keep using this as long as acne.org continues producing it.
Generally I hate the smell of ginger-fragranced products but this one is simply just too good! I love the way the ginger-citrus smell lingers but is not over-powering. One gripe though, its humid here and the souffle does cause my skin to get a bit sticky when I go outdoors during lunchtime. Other than that, it is really great for the office airconditioning, gets rid of my flaky elbow problem.
Tried practically all the Clean fragrances in Sephora here, loved this one the most, smells like laundry which I love because it is non-intrusive and you won't get complaints from co-workers about fragrance over-kill. Its a toss-up between Harajuku Lover's Love and this one for me. And yes, it does smell sorta like Philosophy's Amazing Grace but I still prefer the dryer-sheet smell of Clean Ultimate. Its a shame that I can't ship in perfumes to Singapore so I've gotta pay the higher price in Sephora Singapore.
Blush -Laura Geller - Blush n Brighten Golden Apricot
poopichia 8/13/2009 11:53:00 AM
Extremely beautiful in the packaging, unfortunately the color is waaaaaaaay too dark for my skin and I'm asian, one good thing is that I have a box of Benefit's Dandelion that I seldom use so I layer Dandelion on top of the Laura Geller and this combi does come out as a very pretty pinky bronze color but this is just too much work in the mornings when I am still bleary-eyed and rushing off to work.
I use it on top of my MAC 'Dainty' as my skin is fairly pale and the MAC shows up as a very bright pink no matter how lightly I try to put it on, Fresno is just the best damn thing to tone down the pinkness and add a bit of bronzy shimmer, the tin lasted me one whole year despite my almost daily-usage, will buy this over and over and over again, nothing else I've tried can even come close to adding such a gorgeous glow.
Blush -Illuminare - Illuminaire Blush Portofino Porcelin

Love it love it love it!!! This is the only blusher that I had ever found that actually lasted me the whole day cos the quantity of oil my face produces a day, ohmigawd, you can use it to fry up an entire place of noodles! Didn't clog my pores, didn't cause me to break out, a tiny dot is enough for both cheeks and the color totally matches the flush I get when I go to the gym. I actually bought the trial pack and that one single pillow pack lasted me an entire month. Got the same reviews from the colleagues that I passed the other 4 sample packs too. Will be purchasing the full tube very soon.
