Until I joined MUA I never heard of this. The reviews were good so I had to try it. I was pleasantly surprised! I smashed about 5 tablets and mixed them with a splash of water to make a paste. Put it on my face and let it dry (10-15 minutes), and then kind of washed it off like a "scrub." My skin was brighter, clearer, and smoother. I was waiting for something "bad" to happen like a breakout or rash, but all is well! It also felt really good when I put it on my skin- like a nice, light tingle. Kinda weird, but true! I had a little extra so I used the paste to scrub around my cuticles. The also looked smoother and I had fewer hangnails that week. I want to try using this on my shoulders and back where I have tiny clusters of mild blemishes. Regular scrubs don't help and acne washes just make these areas dry. I have a feeling that this might do the trick...

Styling Products -Farouk CHI - Chi Silk Infusion

I've been using this for about 4 years and I still think it's amazing! I'm half black/half white and my hair is super curly. I love to wear it straight though, and when I do I can't go without this. I just shampoo and condition (Carol's Daugher Black Vanilla line), and then put a drop of oil in it to blow dry with a comb to loosen my curls (not straighten though...). After that I add the CHI, work it through and go over small sections with a ceramic flat iron. It's so silky and doesn't even frizz in high humidity! Come to think of it- this product changed my life. Definitely my HG for silky straight hair.

Top/Base Coats -Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat

Love this top coat! It dries super fast, leaves a glossy shine, and makes my nails look like they do after a professional manicure. The smell is strong, but goes away so fast that it's not too bothersome. There is the tiniest bit of polish shrinkage at the tips, but it's not too noticeable. If I'm feeling OCD, I'll just file the tips a tad and voila. IMO small price to pay for perfect nails! It also seems to last a while. I paint my nails a minimum of 1-2 times a week. I bought this in January 2012 and it's just now getting sticky and bubbly (July 2012). I could probably wait another month, but the brush is too short to reach the bottom 1/3 or the bottle (hence the 1 lippie off of the packaging). I'm thinking about getting the SV Restorer but I might just buy a replacement altogether.

I just got this a little over a week ago. I had been waiting for a 20% off coupon from ULTA, so I seized the opportunity and splurged. Even though I had read the reviews on MUA, I was still a bit skeptical. I don't have very many breakouts and take good care of my skin. I've used this maybe 4-5 times and I can already feel a difference. My skin is definitely softer and feels "cleaner"- even after the first use. I use Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer daily and it absorbs so much better after using the MIA. I (used to) have chronic little "flakies" on my nose and around my eyebrows no matter how often I exfoliated and moisturized. They are gone and the only thing I have done differently is use the MIA. My skin is brighter, smoother, and appears to have more of a glow. Like other reviewers, I also don't have to use as much product because they seem to absorb better. The only think I don't like is the hassle of trying to care for the MIA itself. It'd be nice if there was a stand or something to place it on to dry and charge, rather than sitting it on the counter and hoping that the cat doesn't knock it down while I'm at work. :-P If you're thinking about investing in this, I would recommend it! I have the pink one and feel I have benefited from purchasing it already. I can't wait to see how my skin looks after using this for a month or so....
