Crème -Maybelline - Dream Smooth Mousse

I tried this product after I had great luck with the Dream Matte Mousse. My skin has been drier lately and so I thought the Smooth Mousse would help. I ended up not liking this product and will plan to go back to the Dream Matte product. I felt the Smouth product was heavy and felt wet for a while after I applied it. Also my skin broke out a bit and the only change to my routine was this. I ended up returning it. I did love the packaging though - the sponge was in a different compartment than the mousse - very unique and I liked that!

Mascara -L'Oreal - Double Extend Eye Illuminator Mascara

I have to say I am sucker for ANYTHING with sparkle or glitter involved so this mascara was definitely for me to try! Also I get tired of the same old black or brown mascara - boring! When I saw an ad for this product in a magazine I was super psyched. I was a bit hesitant due to the price ($10 - way more than I would normally pay for a drugstore type product). I did anyways because I hadn't seen anything like this even in the fancier brands - so uniqueness rated very high with me and so thought it was worth the price. I tried it and did love how nice It went on and I felt it was easy enough. How unique - I mean even the black part of the mascara had a hint of color! When I put it on it looked almost as if I had fake eyelashes on - so cool! And I did get a few comments from my husband that my eyes looked a very deep blue! Cheers to this product! :)

Eye Shadow -MAC - jade's fortune

I bought this at a MAC store recently because I was looking for a green shadow. The clerk recommended this because not only can it go on as green, but you can blend it to be other colors and it has the most beautiful blue/black/green sparkles in it. I love this product. For me, I think the difference was the clerk explaining how to put it on - she said you can pick one part of it, like a darker part, and put that on your corners, then you pick a lighter part and put that on you lids. She also said you can use it as a liner with a brush dipped in some water. You can blend all of the colors but you do not have to. Such a versatile product if you ask me! The only downfall to me is it is pricey and it is not an everyday shadow. but it does make me feel really good when I go out so for that it is worth it! Plus it comes in a nice size so I think I will have this forever!

Eyeliner -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Liner Liquid Eyeliner

I have never used a liquid liner before and on a whim, picked one of these up at a local drug store. I have to say - I am hooked thanks to this product! I got it in the purple color. It goes on so nice and at first I thought it would be hard to apply but with a few tries it was so easy. The brush helps because it is nice and thin and the product goes on very nicely with bold color, dries fast, LOVE IT. Definitely recommend. Plus the cost!! Can't be BEAT! I would not waste your money on more expensive brands because I don't think they will beat this one.

I am not one to write reviews on here a lot, so the fact I am putting the effort to do that is saying something in itself. I have struggled with acne and have numerous scars from the past. Even as an adult I still have acne and it is so frustrating! I have tried everything and so far this has been by far THE BEST in terms of comfort, results, and affordability. The cost may seem expensive but compared to a prescription or to a department store make-up counter I would say this tops those! I was worred it would burn or cause redness/scaleing which are things I have experienced with some products and this did none of that! It was so gentle I even use it in place of moisturizer. I think you have to be consistent with its application, as in any product, because after a week I noticed huge changes and I have not had a breakout since. I notice my skin is much smoother too, smoother than I ever remember. The only gripe I have is there is an odor to the product but the results outweight that for sure! Definitely recommend!!

Foundations -Maybelline - Dream Matte Mousse

I tried this product and LOVED it - which is why I was very suprised seeing all the bad reviews on it. I have very sensitive and acne prone skin and have to be very careful what I choose for foundation - so I am picky so I was hesitant to try this, thinking it would be too oily for me. I was pleasantly pleased when this product went on so nice and gave a nice smooth finish and excellent coverage - it was not heavy or oily at all and my skin did not break out once. I have been using it now for about 1 month and I don't think I will switch to anything else now! The package is very nice too - I love that it does not come in a typical bottle. I did notice there are times when I open it, the edges seem to have dried out a bit causing the product to form small beads/balls of product but they can easily be brushed away or easily just blended in - very minimal. That is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 - but for the price compared to what has worked for me before (usually only department store stuff) - this product can't be beat!

Eye Primer -Too Faced - Shadow Insurance, Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer

I tried this product based upon a reco from a friend when I told her I always have a problem with my shadows creasing. She gave me a sample and I tried it - I have to say I can't believe I never knew about this before! Here I have been walking around with creasing shadows thinking there was nothing I could do about it! My life has now changed! This product went on so nicely - smooth and invisible. I put my shadow on next and boom...COLOR...I couldn't believe how it enhanced my shadow color. That was at 7am....now comes 7pm and guess what? NO CREASING! Even after I went for a run outside. Love this product and would definitely buy again and again! It is pricey but a little goes a long way so I figure 1 tube must last a long long time. It has now become a part of my must-have beauty staples!
