Liquid -Almay - Nearly Naked Touch-Pad liquid makeup

i picked up some of this for next to nothing at big lots! as a 'free sample' with the purchase of mascara. which was good because i would have regretted it otherwise. i have found that it's good for late day make up touch ups. the one i have is very small and fits perfectly in a little make up bag. since it's so sheer, it goes over "old" make up well and perks up my face for the rest of the day. mostly, i'm just trying to find a use for it. definitely will not repurchase. probably woulnd't have bought in the first place if it wasn't "free".
Treatments -DHC - after bath hair treatment emulsion

i just tried my sample last week and LOVE TI!. my hair is sooo soft. my fiance couldn't stop running his fingers through it and insisted i buy a bottle right away. it doesn't weight my hair down or feel greasy either like other leave-ins. truly wonderful stuff! and it smells good too.
Lip Treatments -Avon - ANEW CLINICAL Plump and Smooth Lip System
pokeyjomo 4/17/2007 10:08:00 PM
i really like this stuff. i have noticed an improvement in the fine lines around my mouth (you do have to rub it in well or you will get the white residue). the lip (gray) side makes the lips tingle and my lips do seem slightly fuller. i agree that the packaging is kind of weird but it's nice having both products in one container. i bought mine for about $10 on ebay and i will definitely buy again.
i think avon has reformulated this eyeliner (based on reviews on here). i got the black/brown pearl and it is pliable and highly pigmented. the gel goes on smoothly and has a nice color, shine to it. however, it doesn't stay on! by mid-day, the eyeliner is nearly vanished. (where does it go anyway?). i like the price. i like the color. i like the ease of application. the little pot is small enough to carry with, so (for now at least) i'll just reapply as needed.
Just discovered this and love it! Will never flat iron again without it. The people who have not been impressed, may not be using it correctly. I put a tiny amount on each section of my hair just before ironing. And then a little more overall when finished for added sheen. It does not weigh my hair, no build up. Just smooth, shiny, stick straight hair. It is a little pricey but a little goes a long way. I left my bottle open on the counter and spilled most of it. As cheap as I am, I'm out to get another bottle. Can't live without it!
I'm not being entirely fair here since I haven't even tried the foundation yet but it just came in the mail WITHOUT the Kabuki brush (which was one of the main reasons I purchased it). When I contacted Arbonne about it, I was told that the brush does NOT come with the product and must be purchased separately. I am pissed!!!! I don't know how previous reviewers got their brush with purchase. Maybe Arbonne changed their policy. I don't know and I'll probably call back and argue some more but, since I bought it under another "consultant's" name, SHE will have to call and argue with them. Something about Arbonne just feels like such a scam!
Treatments -Serious Skin Care - A-Primer w/Silicone

I LOVE this primer. I agree with previous reviewer--it is better than DHC's velvet skin coat. The trick is to let it set for about 5 minutes before applying make up. I can definately tell the difference on the days when I'm too harried to use it. It really helps my make up last and keeps the "oilies" down.
I began using this instead of Avon's retinol product and I am very, very pleased with the results. I use it am and pm and my skin has never looked clearer--at least, not in the last 10 years or so. I don't mind the smell. Don't even notice it actually. The consistency is a big runny for a tube and would prefer another type of dispenser. But, I just ordered my second tube and will keep using!
I recently noticed the skin on my arms and chest has lost some elasticity so I bought this and I am impressed. I really does seem to make a difference! I'll never have the skin of my 20's, but there is a difinite improvement. It absorbs nicely, is not too greasy, and the smell is mild (not unpleasant). The price is escellent too. What more can you ask for?
I've been suckered twice now and never again. I bought light golden brown (this time) which is neither light nor golden but is very, very BROWN. The only "positive" thing is that it fades fairly quickly, so within 2 weeks my hair was tolerably lighter. I do like the conditioner but I don't like the color surprise. If you're going to purchase this be sure to get a shade lighter than what you want!
I've been using Avon eye cream for awhile and thought I'd give this a try when it came out but I am disappointed. The upper eye gel doesn't seem to do anything at all. Maybe I just don't need it yet. The under eye cream is OK but nothing special and my fine lines start peeking through again by the end of the day so I've been applying during the day which I have never had to do before. Overall, wasn't horrible but I won't purchase again either.
Eyes -Physicians Formula - Retro Glow Ultra Dramatic Mascara

I love the packaging in this whole line. Very gothic and retro and cool looking. I was disappointed in this mascara though. It seemed oily and rubbed off around my eyes. I also didn't find that it did much to plump up my sparse lashes. I've been layering it with Maybelline Great Lash (the BEST mascara ever invented) so it's getting used and I DO love the packaging!
Liquid -Maybelline - Smooth Results foundation [DISCONTINUED]
pokeyjomo 1/29/2006 10:38:00 PM
I love this foundation. I use Ivory and it's a perfect match for my skin. It gives an even finish without being cakey or gooey. Coverage is medium but I follow up with a light dusting of mineral foundation over it (for added staying power). I think it does a great job of disguising large pores and fine lines. Will definitely repurchase, especially since it's so cheap!
I love the microdermabrasion tool. (I had one before that broke and loved that one too) I can definitely tell a difference in my skin. However, I am not a fan of the cream that comes with this kit. The granules are too large and gritty and are hard to rinse off. I will use what I have (cus I'm cheap that way) but, when it's gone, I will purchase a different brand (perhaps Avon which I've tried before and really liked).
Treatments -Avon - Anew Alternative Intensive Age Treatment [DISCONTINUED]

I've been using this for several months now and I LOVE IT! I noticed results right away. The more I use it, the better my skin looks. Forehead lines are nearly GONE! Blotchy skin-GONE! Sun spots-almost GONE! I can definitely tell a difference on those nights when I don't use it. I don't dislike the smell and the slight tingly sensation when applied feels good to me. Makes me feel like it's working. I love Avon products and this is my new fave. I just ordered the Alternative Day cream and can't wait to try that too.
