I have larger pores, acne-prone, sensitive skin. This stuff never fails to cause tiny flesh-colored bumps all over my face after about a week of use.... I've been using it on and off for years now and have had varying degrees of breakouts from it, depending on what other products I'm also using at the time. Castor oil does the same thing to me too.

I saw this stuff in the drugstore, and got so excited to see a lotion with LACTIC acid and not glycolic acid! I have reactions to the latter. I've been plagued by flesh-colored bumps alllllll over my face for about 4 months now, ever since I used the Oil Cleansing Method, and then on my honeymoon two months ago the bumps were made worse by using Clean and Clear Blackhead scrub. Since then the bumps have only gotten worse, and some have turned into pustules. It's disgusting... But I started using this stuff a few days ago, and ALREADY my face is looking better and better! My face looks a little shiny, but if I put it on before bed, I wake up with beautiful looking skin, not shiny! I love it so far and plan to buy it again. It's a rare day when I can use something on my face and not break out, but the breaking out part usually happens a week after the start of using a new product... We'll see.

I have acne-prone, dry, and sensitive skin. I did a test spot on my forehead and didn't get a reaction, but I used it on my whole body after showering, and I broke out in itchy hives on my arms. I'm itching as I'm writing this review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Broke me out, although I have sensitive skin and there aren't many products that DON'T break me out... My skin felt so gross afterward, as if there was a waxy film left on it!

TERRIBLE PRODUCT!!!!! This crap made me break out in tiny pimples ALL OVER MY FACE AND MADE ME ITCHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This stuff made me so mad. I used it on my honeymoon and I broke out all over my face, literally, a couple days after beginning use. How embarrassing is that on your honeymoon??? Made me feel so uncomfortable and not to mention made me feel unattractive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At my absolute clearest of skin I was using this cleanser. It's great, and leaves no residue. I would highly recommend it. So many soaps and cleansers mess up my skin horribly, but this one does nothing but just clean it, and that's it!

Ok, so I used one part castor oil to two parts jojoba oil. I used a dropper so no bacteria would get in, plus they were new bottles. I would massage the oil mixture into my skin for a few minutes, then steam face with a warm washcloth, twice, and gently wipe off the residue. My skin looked soooo good the first few days of doing only that and no soap, as per the directions. Then after almost a week my whole face broke out in milia, or small flesh-colored bumps! I HATE getting those because I know that I will have them for a few months, and I'm getting married in less than a month! I have combination, fair, sensitive, acne-prone skin. My skin has difficulty with the shedding of dead skin cells, so I'm constantly exfoliating so the skin doesn't build up and causes blemishes. I will never do this again nor will I ever recommend it to anyone because of my terrible experience!
