I love how it looks on at first it has a slight sheen and makes my skin look dewy but then in a few hours it makes my dry skin become incredibly oily...will not repurchase

Lipstick -MAC - Satin - Pink Nouveau
plasticbambi 9/19/2012 2:38:00 PM
This is a true neon pink. Its very intense and opaque but, very chic. I absolutely love it with cat eyes or kitten flicks. (my go to look) The lasting power could be better but the moisturizing power is awesome. Overall this is a great, young shade and I'll def repurchase.

Lipstick -MAC - Lustre in Lady Bug
plasticbambi 9/19/2012 2:35:00 PM
This is my favorite red lipstick I've used up to now. I think it works very well with my light-med olive skin tone. The lasting power could be better but the moisturizing power is awesome. The color goes on sheer and is very easy to build. Looks great either way. This is a great starter red or shy girl color. This color always looks good and never overdone. I will def repurchase.

Lipstick -MAC - Up The Amp
plasticbambi 9/19/2012 2:32:00 PM
This a creme lipstick that claims to be lavender violet but I'd call it mauve to purple pink. This is a more subtle neon color. I think this color works very well with my light-medium olive skin and is just enough to make you stand out but, not to bright to make you look over the top. The lasting power honestly could be better but the moisturizing power is actually very good. Overall a very nice, young, stylish shade. I'd def repurchase.

Shampoo -Mane 'n Tail - Shampoo
plasticbambi 9/3/2012 4:10:00 PM
I have only been using this product for about a week and I'm already disappointed. I had been using FAST which actually did work to help grow my hair. The last time I checked my hair had grown about 1/4 an inch in one week with FAST and has seen no growth with one week of Mane n tail color protect. This product did not protect my color at all. I stopped using FAST because they color came out so quickly and decided to color my hair red violet and thought that this would be a good alternative but it did not help at all. My color has pretty much completely come out in one week only leaving a red tint to my medium brown hair. But, what has really made me dislike this product is how dry its making my hair. FAST didn't even make it this dry. Its brittle unruly now. I don't think that mane n tail is for me. :/ One more thing. This product smells way better than FAST

Foundations -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup with SoftFlex SPF 6 for Combination/Oily Skin
plasticbambi 8/22/2012 2:37:00 PM
Well I think this could be my HG. The only negative for me is that I picked a color one shade too dark and it doesn't stay matte all day long. That's it though. What powders do you use on top of this?

Cleansers -Olay - Olay Smooth Skin Cream Scrub
plasticbambi 8/22/2012 2:35:00 PM
I have combination skin and right now my skin is so oily and to be honest this isn't really helping. I don't feel a deep clean after using it and my skin is just as oily throughout the day. I'm not wowed by this product but, I'm also not upset that bought it. I'll use it til I found something better.

Eyeliner -MAC - Black Funk Eye Pencil
plasticbambi 8/2/2012 5:53:00 PM
The best thing about this eyeliner is it works well on the waterline and is the blackest of all blacks. Something I really have devoted a lot of time and money to finding but, it smudges. Usually within 10-15 minutes I have a black line in my crease which is really unsightly. So I won't be buying this product ever again. I wish MAC would make a black funk version of the power point liner :/

Eyeliner -MAC - Powerpoint eye pencil in Engraved

Seriously the best eyeliner I've ever used. It's a great all around product. Looks great on the lid, on the waterline, on the bottom lashes, it provides the perfect smokey line or the perfect defined line. Its so versatile and so incredibly black. I love it. HG eyeliner.

Eyeliner -MAC - Penultimate Eye Liner - Rapidblack
plasticbambi 8/2/2012 5:41:00 PM
4's across the board. I'm surprised by the overwhelming amount of bad reviews. I think this eyeliner is the best liquid pen I've ever used but, then again it's not amazing or HG. This is a wayyy better version of revlon's color stay pen. I'd repurchase unless I found something better.

Eye Makeup Remover -Maybelline - Expert Eyes Moisturizing Remover for waterproof Eye Makeup
plasticbambi 8/1/2012 6:48:00 PM
Seriously the worst eye make up remover ever. It manages to take off my foundation, etc. but takes forever to remove my mascara and eyeliner. I'm often left with traces of liner and clumps of mascara. Also its extremely oily and thick and stays on my skin. It feels horrible and smells so bad even my boyfriend said he couldn't stand it and he never commits on any of make up, etc. smelling. I'll use it until I can find my normal rimmel eye make up remover because its the only thing that works.

Shampoo -Unlisted Brand - Nisim FAST Shampoo
plasticbambi 8/1/2012 2:08:00 PM
I've been using this product for about a month now. I am no where near completing the full bottles of shampoo and conditioner but, I thought I may as well write a review. I am giving this product 4 overall and 5 for the price because its really expensive (especially seeing as I'm a hair stylist so I get my products for next to nothing) and 4 for the packaging because its okay...kind of ugly and the tops don't go all the way down...etc. In any case I do really like this set. The smell isn't amazing...kind of smells like hotel shampoo but, I don't really mind it. These products made my hair shiny and soft and my hair was fried. I mean completely fried almost turning to mush. So for that alone I really like the product. It brought my extremely over processed, dead-end hair (seemingly) back to life. It didn't dry out my hair at all like some said. BUT did not help with the over all porosity of my hair. My hair is still extremely porous (like put a 6a dye on my hair and get 1n then fade down to 5gn within a week...I know crazy junk). A big plus to this product is that if you do mess up your color you can count on this to strip it out within a week. I'd imagine if you are big on coloring your hair that this would NOT be the product for you. As for the overall length I'd say my bangs grew about an inch and the back of my hair an inch and 1/4. My hair usually grows about 1/2-3/4 of an inch. So I got the mullet thing going on (trying to grow out a pixie) but, it did maximize/double my typical growth pattern. I will continue to use these products and repurchase.

Fragrances -Yves Saint Laurent - Opium
plasticbambi 7/31/2012 9:42:00 PM
I never bought this product but, tried it on twice. I wanted to love it. I really did. I love the way real opium smells. But, this...nowhere near that scent. The perfume is too strong and honestly just smells like I poured whiskey on myself. I have noticed that some people are saying that the perfume was reformulated so I never smelled the original. Maybe they should go back to it...

Fragrances -Versace - Crystal Noir
plasticbambi 7/31/2012 9:33:00 PM
I seriously think I've found my signature scent. I've never really cared about my perfumes. I usually just stuck to Chanel No. 5 Paris but, I've got a few sprays left and I realized its just too powdery and too old fashioned for me. After trying 100 different perfumes I realized I don't care for fruity, powdery, or flowery scents all too much. I love the oriental smells, spicy, cedary, amber like. But, none of the perfumes that I consider to be those things did it for me until I found this gem. I love everything about Versace Crystal Noir. I love the packaging. I love the dark translucent bottle and huge rock of cap. The smell is amazing and I think really suits me perfectly. This smell has just the right amount of flowery and powdery undertones that keep the rich deep smells of the amber and cedar from being too overpowering which I found to be an issue with other perfumes...opium mainly.... The price however is really too high but, I'll splurge. I love it THAT MUCH. If you are looking for a mysterious and sexy scent that doesn't smell like anything else. This is it.

Self Tanners -Unlisted Brand - mystic tan
plasticbambi 7/12/2012 6:27:00 PM
Well let me start off by saying I'm not a fan of self tanners. I know going to the tanning bed and laying out is awful for you but, I feel that I get a much richer longer lasting tan that way but, none the less I hit a tanning plateau and I really wanted to be insanely dark for a weekend with my boyfriend so I decided to "double dip" and tan in the tanning bed then get a spray tan.. The attendant told me that I only needed to do a medium and I would get insanely dark. This however is not true. I did get dark but, not as dark as I wanted... I'm Italian, Native American, and French. So I'm light-medium naturally with an olive like complexion. I got close to being "dark" but, I could wear MAC's Matchmaster in 5 and match up perfectly. That level isn't really that dark. I was hoping for more of a 7.5-8. Also I did have an orange tint. Not anything horrible...not guido status or anything but, a hint of orange. And the color faded off in like 4 days and claimed to last 7. Long story short this is OKAY...maybe I'd like it more in the "dark" but, there are much less expensive at home self-tanners I'll probably try first. *Biggest benefit is perfect application *Biggest set back is the cost
