Skincare - Face -Unlisted Brand - RMS Beauty - Raw Coconut Cream

This was fantastic as a make up remover for both face and eyes, but as I prefer to use jojoba oil as an eye make up remover, so I wouldn't repurchase. Also you can also use this as an body moisturiser, but unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for my dry skin. However I do think it is worth trying, generally I love RMS products and they really are about as pure as you can get and still really effective.
Moisturizers -Dr. Alkaitis - Nourishing Treatment Oil

This is a beautiful oil. I really love the integrity of this brand. I initially bought this oil for my body as I'm pregnat and it's meant to be great for preventing stretch marks. Anyway it was a pleasure to use and very effective, however oddly it wasn't quite moisturising enough for my back, which admittedly has been weirdly dry, thanks to the pregnancy hormones, which was a bit disappointing. However what I did love is that this is suitable to use on the face and although the oil is expensive if you are using it on your body, as a facial oil it is very economical and left my skin feeling very soft. Highly recommend. Also the scent is gorgeous.
Conditioner -Unlisted Brand - A'kin - Unscented Conditioner

I liked this conditioner, it wasn't amazing, but it was pretty decent, and I appreciate the fact that it is truly unscented and without the addition of essential oils. I do prefer the shampoo in the unscented range and the shower gel is wondeful.
I liked this, its a decent enough conditioner, nothing spectacular, but it left my hair frizz free without weighing it down. The scent is of the usual Aveda herbal variety, which I didn't love, but it wasn't offensive.
Conditioner -John Masters - Citrus & Neroli Detangler

I really liked this product. It was too light for me to use as a regular conditioner, but worked amazingly well as a leave in conditioner. When I used it this way, it left my hair super soft and frizz free. I prefer to use unscented products, so I will defintely try the unscented version of this.
Shampoo -Unlisted Brand - A'kin - Unscented Very Gentle Shampoo

I liked this, but not enough to repurchase. It's very gentle, but still effectively cleansed my hair. I much prefer the mandarin version of this shampoo however.
Lotions/ Creams -Mustela - Stretch Marks Double Action
pixielu 3/13/2012 10:58:00 AM
I really didn't like this. The texture of the cream isn't great so it's quite hard to rub in, it definitely isn't easily absorbed. I also found the scent totally overwhelming and unpleasant, it's highly fragranced. As for its stretch mark fighting capabilities, I am 5 months pregnant and so far so good, but I'm not sure if that is this cream or if its just hereditary, neither my sister or mother have stretch marks and didn't use Mustela when pregnant. I wouldn't repurchase.
Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - Mama Mio - Tummy Rub Stretch Mark Oil
pixielu 3/13/2012 10:54:00 AM
This is a nice product and so far I have no stretchmarks (at 5 months pregnant) however I really dislike the scent, it's not overwhelming and doesn't linger, but I still dislike it on application. Also I'm not sure this is any more preventative than just being thorough about moisturising every day, I'm sure stretchmarks are probably basically hereditary, but this is nice enough so work a try.
This is a very nice product. The consistency is that of a lotion, but it actually feels very moisturising on application. I just rinse off with water and its a very effective make up remover (although I only wear very light make up) and doesn't leave behind a residue. It's pretty expensive and I prefer other cleansers, for example the Weleda Almond cleanser, so I wouldn't repurchase.
I thought this was just ok. I have normal hair, with a slight wave. This definitely did help to smooth my hair and keep it straight, however I felt that it left it a bit coated and so I had to wash my hair more frequently. I wouldn't repurchase.
I really wanted to like this more. I like the idea of cleansing without water, especially as I live in a hard water area. This cleansed well and the scent was subtle, which I appreciate, but although this left my skin feeling cleansed, it seemed to do nothing for my skins overall appearance. Typically i have pretty good skin, but this cleanser left me with a few more blocked pores, so I definitely would not repurchase. I think it is worth trying, it just wasn't for me.
Treatments -Aesop - Parsley Seed Anti Oxidant Serum (Face)
pixielu 3/19/2011 6:47:00 AM
This stuff is amazing. I had a sample which sat in my bathroom cabinet for months and I wasn't even remotely interested in trying it, then for whatever reason I used it one evening after cleansing, it felt a little sticky, not as smooth as a regular serum but still felt nice on my skin. Anyway the next morning my skin looked amazing, it seems to be at once moisturizing, (probably not enough if you have dry skin, but great on my normal skin), and balancing, my skin looked really even and after a few uses it totally got rid of some small pigmentation marks I had on my face. I totally love it, will definitely repurchase. Also to note, my skin at times can be sensitive to fragrances etc but this serum seems to be very calming and I actually use it the most when my skin is playing up a little and it really works to bring it back to normal.
Shampoo -Klorane - Citron Pulp Shampoo with Vitamins
pixielu 1/21/2011 2:33:00 PM
I love this shampoo, along with the camomile and also the almond from this range. It's very gentle, but still cleanses thoroughly and leaves my hair shiny and full of bounce. Its scent is faintly lemony and I like it, even tho, I am usually fussy about citrus scents.
Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - A-Derma Gel Moussant Surgras
pixielu 12/21/2010 3:48:00 PM
Amazing stuff, it's so gentle, but is still a very effective cleanser, for both face and body. Highly recommend, especially if you have sensitive skin.
This stuff is amazing. It's a really gentle cleanser, but does remove all makeup, including eye make up. It's very effective, doesn't upset my skin, and is also pretty cheap.
