Styling Products -Johnson & Johnson - No More Tangles - Spray Detangler
rated 5 of 5

I've been using the Biolage Leave-In Conditioner spray, and I was looking for a cheaper alternative. I picked this up while I was in CVS one day and decided to give it a try. It conditions well, detangles, and isn't heavy or oily after it dries. Seems like a good cheap alternative! My hair is bra-strap length, color-treated blonde and wavy - not totally curled but could never be straight either. I will finish the bottle and update!

Conditioner -Alberto Vo5 - Free Me Freesia Moisturizing Conditioner

Great value for a dollar! A little runny compared to other conditioners I've used, but it detangles well and smells great! Good find if you are on a beauty bugdet or trying to cut expenses. No sense in spending $5-$20 dollars on other conditioners when this one works for a buck!

Shampoo -Alberto Vo5 - Free Me Freesia herbal moisturizing shampoo with aloe and jasmine extracts

Pleasantly surprised! This is so cheap, yet it lathers well and doesn't dry out my color treated hair. The smell is wonderful and lingers afterwards. Can't beat it for a buck! And, it doesn't irritate my scalp like some shampoos...like Pantene!

I purchased the Angel knock off and LOVE IT!!! It is the closest knock off of Angel I have found....without breaking my bank either. My fiance and I were in Macy's one day trying different fragrances in the Men's and Women's Depts..... he ended up buying Aqua Di Gio and I contemplated spending the $75.00 for the initial bottle of Angel......but I couldn't bring myself to waste that much money for such a small bottle, despite the fact it was refillable. This is a great alternative!!!! No way am I spending the $75.00 when I can get this for $14.00 at Walgreens!! I will be trying other scents now too!! And if I can catch a BOGO sale and get 2 for one, I will be very happy!!! I've gotten a lot of compliments on this and everyone thinks it is the real Angel on me. :)

Moisturizers -Avalon Organics Botanicals - Vitamin C Rejuvenating Oil-Free Moisturizer
rated 3 of 5
piscesenchantress 6/25/2010 10:49:00 AM

I just purchased this a few days ago and have been using it for the past 2 nights. So far, I really like it. It feels a bit greasy going on (although it is oil-free) however a thin layer sinks in pretty quickly, so you really don't need a lot of product. My skin is already starting to look smoother, younger, and more even. I like the fact it is natural and organic, however I'm not crazy about the packaging. For sanitary reasons, I don't see how good it can be to keep dipping your hands in a jar, but I wash my hands before putting on my night creams anyway. I will update if this gives me breakouts, I am hoping it won't! *UPDATE* Although this did a great job of rejuvenating my skin, it started to cause me to break out... :( Too bad, because other than that it has been working great! Back to my L'Oreal Revitalift!

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies
rated 3 of 5

This mascara does give GREAT lashes, not clumpy and very full looking. However, the brush is a pain to use and I don't care for it. Otherwise the formula is really good. I will stick with Colassal for everyday, however this would be ok when I was taking my time to get ready for a night out and not worried about easier application in a short time!

Bronzers -Clinique - True Bronze pressed powder bronzer - Sunkissed
rated 5 of 5
piscesenchantress 6/7/2010 2:50:00 PM

I usually don't splurge on department store cosmetics, but with my upcoming wedding I wanted to treat myself to some makeup splurges. This was definitely worth the splurge, although for $24.00 you get a huge pan of bronzer. The color is very natural, and I think perfect for light to medium skin tones. It blends really well, is oil free, and leaves your skin looking healthy and not "dirty" like some bronzers tend to do. Although I've gotten some great drug store buys in the past, I would repurchase this because the formula is great and the color is a perfect match. Highly recommended!!!

Very nice neutral shimmer. I'm constantly on the search for a great neutral taupe shade (I'm light blonde with fair skin and blue eyes) and to think I found it for $1.99! This has become a daily staple!

Lip Gloss -New York Color - Liquid Lip Shine
rated 5 of 5
piscesenchantress 5/24/2010 2:30:00 PM

Don't let the cheap price deter you, these are pretty good. I use various shades of NYC glosses and WetNWild ones. I've had better luck with these than some of the glosses I've paid almost $10.00 for. Makeup staples in my bag!

LOVE this! This is my mascara secret weapon....I've been using it for years! This can make the biggest mascara mess fixable. I always have one of these in my makeup bag, forget the plastic ones they stink compared to this!

Styling Products -L'Oreal - Vive Pro Glossy Style Volume Mousse
rated 4 of 5
piscesenchantress 5/24/2010 2:22:00 PM

I had good luck with this. I have long blonde hair, and it's in between curls and waves, not loose but not ringlett either. This made my curls very defined and full. I didn't get much of a shine finish, and I do agree with some reviewers about the residue feeling. I don't use it everyday, just on nights I'm going out or special occasions. Would repurchase!

Lotions/ Creams -Vaseline - Aloe Cool & Fresh light body lotion
rated 5 of 5
piscesenchantress 5/24/2010 2:16:00 PM

I haven't used Vaseline in years, but my fiance has this as a staple on his bathroom counter. It actually absorbs nicely, heals my hands and has a very light scent. I've also used it after getting out of the shower and my skin feels great afterwards.

Scrubs -St. Ives - Apricot Scrub

I've been using this for 20 years now. It's a great inexpensive scrub that doesn't make me break out or leave a film on my face. Just clean exfoliated skin. It's a staple for me and always will be!
