I was watching Denimpixie on Youtube and she said that she uses this as a hair gel. At first I couldn't believe it but then I realized the moisturizing properties that it has so I decided to give it a shot. I sooooo impressed with the results!!! Makes my hair feel SUPER soft and actually holds pretty well. Doesnt make my curls feels stiff at all (I have 3c/4a hair for curl pattern reference)!!! WARNING: Please apply some type of moisturizer/oil to hair before use!

Lips -Revlon - Color Burst lip butter - Cotton Candy

I recently went through my Lip Butter collection and fell in love with this one again. Cotton Candy is a beautiful slight yellow pink with golden shimmer. Doesnt look harsh like some frosts can. It's a sheerer version of MAC Fabby lipstick. LOVE lip butters for their hydration effect on lips and super sexy packaging!!!!

I had to bring down the rating due to the fact that this has mineral oil in it. I wish I could find a purer form of it. I used it with a deep conditioner and my hair was soft the next day. I could also do without the smell.

I got this as part of the Repair and Transition Kit. It has Raw Shea Butter oil, Argan oil, and Sea Kelp extract. I do like that the oil is misty but I prefer to use this at night when I put my hair in a "Pebbles" instead of daytime. This makes a great as a body oil as well, however, I just prefer my coconut oil!

Lipstick -MAC - Fabby Lipstick

I'm ususally not a frost lipstick girl but this one caught me eye. Fabby reminds me a lot of Expensive Pink in lip form. It's a beautiful medium yellow based pink with golden shimmer.

I purchased the Curl and Shine Kit after my best friend did her big chop and raved about it. For $20, Shea Moisture allows customers to try their Curl and Style Milk, Curl Enhancing Smoothie, Hold and Shine Mist, and Curl and Shine Shampoo. After I tried the kit, I was INSTANTLY hooked! This line has the most amazing coconut smell:-) Overall, this line makes my curls (4A/3C) soft and hydrated. A little goes a long way, espcially with the Curl Milk. I don't use the Hold and Shine Mist as a hair spray but as a hair refresher thoughout the day. SInce I purchased the kit, I have purchased full sizes of the Curl Enhancing Smoothie and Curl and Shine Mist.

This was included in the Repair and Transition Kit and I was sadly disappointed by it. It left my hair feeling dry to the point that I had to rewash my hair and co-wash with my Hello Hydration :-(

Alas, after the success of their Effects for nails, SH has introduced Effects for toes. I purchased this fro m Walgreens 2 weeks ago and my pedi is STILL going strong! As of now they only have 4 designs but I'm hoping that they come out with more. I have a horrible habit of doing a pedi in a rush and bumping a toe into something. There is NO DRYING time with this which is awesome! It did take me a little while to do the sizing per toe but once you get the measurements right application is a breeze! Worth the $10-$12 price tag, especially if you prefer to do your own pedi.

I am soooo in love with this brand in general!!! I know that the Curling Souffle catches a lot of crap for not being "gel like" but that's because it's made from flaxseed oil and agave nectar, not silicone. It really helps to define my curls and makes them more elongated. My only wish is that it came in a larger jar.

Hair -Shea Moisture - Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie

I recently purchased the Shea Moisture Curl and Shine Kit with organic Coconut and Hibiscus and this was one of the items in the kit. It's smells like tropical goodness and the consistency is thick, so a little goes a long way. It's not greasy at all and I can actually pronounce the in gredients that are in it. I usually use it when I co-wash my hair. I really don't think that it enhances my curls but it does hydrate them.

I LOVE this stuff!!! I have been "natural" for almost 2 years and have been using coconut oil since my BC in July 2010. I discovered this when my best friend went to the Dubai and she sent me a bottle. My hair is sooooooo hydrated with this and it has a nice light coconut and citrus smell. I usually put it in my hair at night when I do my "pebbles" (high pont tail) and put my satin bonnet over it so that it can penatrate into my hair at night. Will repurchase over and over again:-)

I LOOOOOOOVVVVVEEEE my Danmari palette! Since I purchased it in November there is hardly a day that I don't use it. The mirror itself is perfect and worth the price. Great for travel. I'm really hoping that the do something like this again for next holiday season!!!!

I discovered Shea Moisture thanks to my BFF who just did her big chop. I have been natural for almost 2 years now and have been on the hunt for products such as these, which are all natural and good for your hair (for reference I have a mix of 3c/4a hair). I've tried everything from Miss Jessie's, which is too expensive for the ingredients that they use, to Cantu brand and everything in between. I am astonished that this brand is available at Walgreens and Target for less than $15 per item. I also enjoy the kits that they offer. My personal favorite is the Coconut and Hibiscus line. This has officially become my Holy Grail hair line and I am looking forward to their future product lines.

Note: If you are feeling anything less than fabulous, DO NOT wear this lipstick!!! This lipstick is for when you are looking to be noticed because it will make both men and women stare at you! Ruby Woo, in my opinion, is THE best red lipstick out there! Beautiful blue based matte red. It's an unusually dry lippie so please exfoliate lips before wearing. I love to wear RW with my hair pulled backed, cheeks highligted, and neural eyes with an extra coat of mascara :-)
