I think most clarifying shampoos strip your hair of everything! Depending on whether you use tons of product or not, that can be a good thing. However I only use a smoothing serum and the occasional shot of hairspray so I didnt need anything heavey duty, but I wanted to do an at-home deep conditioning treatment and knew doing a deep cleansing right before gives you the best results. I really love the lather of this, and especially the scent! It didnt dry my hair, but gave me loads of volume! I ended up sticking with this and using it about once a week. It cleanses so well without stripping your hair of its awesomeness. Try it!

Shampoo -Shiseido - Tsubaki Shampoo

I have thick caucasian hair, but I knew this contained great ingredients for any type of hair so I had to try it. This cleansed really well, and smells great. I used it along with the conditioner and I think over time it really strengthened my hair. It almost felt thicker. As for volume I'm not sure, it sort of stayed the same, but for someone who needs thicker hair I would try it!

Hair Styling Tools -Solano - HAI Convertable Flat Iron

I had never heard of this brand before, and I originally went to the salon to buy a T3. The stylist showed me this one, because I have really long hair she reommended the 1 1/4 inch model. It has the same warranty as the T3, only a little less expensive. I LOVE this. I usually curl my hair after drying it, and then let it do what it wants for the next couple of days before I wash it again, and this definately makes sure the curls stay! It doesnt leave my hair frizzy, which used to be big problem for me when I would straighten my hair, not with this one! I'm SO glad she recommended this!

The only reason this got more than one star is because of the packaging, and I love the scent! This is way too greasy, and made me break out almost right away! Im never a big fan of moisturizers with built in SPF because at night its just unnecessary, and most only carry SPF15, which isnt high enough! I wouldn't waste my money on this again.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel

I loved the nice texture and moisturizing ability of this gel. but with a strong cleanser this doesnt moisturize enough! It might be a bit light for someone with normal skin. Overall this was an ok moisturizer. I wont be purchasing this again, because I feel it's a waste of money where you could be buying something else that has SPF in it. I feel Clinique is a huge rip off! Requiring you to purchase makeup remover, face wash, toner, after toner moisturizer, separate SPF, and that's before you can even get your makeup on!!!

Initially, without using the product I was already in love with the sleek packaging and beautiful color. It is a bit expensive for something from Target, but nothing I can't handle. As if a girl hasn't spent more on eyeshadows. The color stays put, is beautiful and very complimentary to every skin tone.

I bought this brush recently because of the great price, and overall quality. You simply cannot buy any old brush from walmart and expect great results. I'm so happy I didnt spend too much, but received great results. It picks up plenty of color from my eyeshadows. Because of the closely packed bristles it places color on my eyes, almost like I was using heavily pigmented eyeshadow colors. It's also very soft. I'm very pleased with this brush. I can't wait to buy the rest of the line.

Lotions/ Creams -Johnson & Johnson - Softlotion Nourishing Renewal Lotion

I love the scent of all the softlotions. This one is still just as sweet and gentle. I used Johnson & Johnson baby lotion on my babies, still do, and I feel so utterly pampered now that I get to use an adult version. This is very moisturizing. Not too much, I live in a hot and humid area. This is just perfect. I bought this because it has Vitamins A & E, and shea butter. ALL very good for skin. LOVE THIS!

Cleansers -L'Oreal - Pure Zone Pore Unclogging Scrub Cleanser

It took me a very long time to decide to purchase this. I wanted to, because the L'oreal cleanser I was using for combination skin wasn't cleansing enough for my oily skin. However I didn purchase beacuse of the bad reviews I had previously read. Anyway, after a while I gave in. It's reasonbly priced and I LOVE LOVE LOVE that it's a cleanser and scrub all in one! I usually use both, separately. It cleanses perfectly. The smell is so very L'oreal, and did i mention I love the scrub? I will be buying this over and over again. I'm so in love. ps. even for my oily skin I'm sure to use a gentle toner and creamy lotion afterwards for glowing skin.

Toners -Neutrogena - Neutrogena Deep Clean Invigorating Dual Action Toner [DISCONTINUED]

I couldnt find the toner that I wanted, and this seemed to pop out off the shelf to me, so I decided on a whim to just purchase it. I'm glad I did! The bottle is well made, so that when I pour toner onto my cotton pad just enough comes out. I usually end up with waaaay too much and have to start all over again. It's not too drying, although I do have oily skin. It smells good. It tightens my pores just enough, It's no miracle, but Im really just happy that it's not so drying. Most toners or astringents are insanely drying, and sometimes painful. So far, I like this. As far as breakouts go, I haven't had a problem yet!

Conditioner -LUSH - American Cream

This smells amazing! Everyone commented on how great my hair smelled. It didnt moisturize my hair enough, but it did it's job. It held up to it's expectations. I had to supplement my extremely dry hair with something else, other than that this was great. Oh, and I felt that it cost too much money for me, considering I had to use something else anyways. Pretty much throwing money down the drain.

Loved the virtually no-spill EASY to use bottle, loved the smell, but this conditioner did nothing for my hair. At first I thought it was fine. My hair felt a little funny, but I ignored it. After the second use my hair was extremely weighed down and greasy feeling. I dont like this conditioner at all.

The best conditioner I have EVER come across. Hands down! Most conditioners leave either a filmy layer over my hair, weighing it down and making it look greasy. Or making my hair prone to frizz...not conditioning enough. I have very dry, thick hair. Oily at the roots so I need to shampoo every other day. Conditioning balm makes my hair so absolutely silky and heavenly! I can actually brush through it right after shower. It makes the waves in my hair smoother, making it look more glossy and like I had actually styled my hair. It tames all the volume I have as well. My hair is much healthier now that I've started using this. Also, one of the only conditioners I've come across that can double as a deep-conditioner if you leave it in 30 minutes.

Absolutely divine! I LOVE this deep, sexy scent. Not too strong and still so feminine. I really love this! Now I need to try their blackberry amber scent!

I bought this when The Body Shop had their special 3 for $16sale. Actually it lasted me since last year! I used it again, yes it's that time of year when you pull out all your "cranberry, pine, sugarcookie, spice cake, etc" scents. Anyway it was very very strong. Much stronger than I remember it being last year. Smells nice, but I had to blow out the tart and give my nose a rest.
