I like a brush with oomph but this was too big. I loved the style of the tube and the smooth formula but returned as it gave me insane raccoon eyes after just a few hours.

The color is nice, and the brush is awesome. I love the brush so much I want to save it and try it with other mascaras.. However I hated that the formula it flaked on me, it flaked so bad that it looked like I had applied black eyeshadow on my lower lids. I had to wipe it away three times. I have oily eyelids.

Treatments (Eye) -L'Oreal - Lash Boosting Serum

I've had this for two weeks and not seen anything, I feel like it dries my lashes out/irritates them? The wand is brilliant I will give it that. I wasn't expecting a miracle, just a "boost" as it says. Even with Talika I could tell in a week or so with lash health. You generally can tell when you moisturize anything that it's improving and quickly, in a few days..ie lotion on skin, conditioner for hair, cuticle oil etc.. so that alone will benefit but nothing for me. My lashes are just as moisturized as before. I look at this as "food" to help your lashes reach their max potential. Please understand that in no way did I think this to be a miracle drug, etc. But mine aren't responding to this food/booster as you want to call it. My lashes are long already, just very straight and don't hold a curl very well. I may keep trying, but I feel like Talika is calling me back.

Eye Makeup Remover -Christian Dior - Duo-Phase Eye Makeup Remover

I got a sample of this and loved it. I've heard others have had issues with their eyes burning and etc so I would say if you tried this but had that issue try Talika's Lash Conditioning cleanser. That's what I use now. It's in the same price range and the two work just as gently as the other. I was in Sephora when I tried this as I kept playing with all their eye makeup and each time I had to remove it I looked forward to it with this - it was so soothing and easy. You don't have to tug just gently wipe with a cotton ball. Save your lashes and your delicate eye skin. Invest in a good EMU remover! Going forward if I don't want to order online the Talika, I may buy this at lovely Sephora :)

Mascara -Fresh - Supernova
rated 2 of 5
pink_rosies 12/26/2011 2:44:00 PM

Pros: Thick rich formula No alchohol Great brush and tube Cons: ridiculously expensive $25! smudges horribly for the price (yes even on experienced mascara users) I liked that my eyelids/lashes weren't itchy when wearing this (very sensitive to alcohol). And the amount applied to my lashes was nice, I didn't need a comb, but it smudges awful. I have very oily eyelids.

Mascara -Mally Beauty - Volumizing Mascara

I really wanted to like this. Really REALLY. *weighed my lashes down *removed any curl from my Shu Uemura *Clumped And yes, I did removed the extra on it. I wasn't impressed with the brush/packaging. I was hoping for a better applicator. It was the typical spiral, which IMHO is a horrible brush. Too many gaps for the mascara to stuff itself in and then gunk out on your lashes, or make you work too hard to wipe it off just so you can get a proper amount. I wish they used a brush like L'Oreal Voluminous, their bristles stick straight out and are all random placed, vs in a spiral setting..(I'm saying this to clarify the difference, in hope others will know what I mean) I will say I was impressed with the color (the black really does hold ALL day), the thickness from the fibers/powders is also impressive, and the fact that it did not flake. I just wish it would've not been so heavy on my lashes. My lashes are hard to curl anyway, but they didn't even stand a chance with this. Some people suggested layering it with another mascara, but I don't think I or anyone should have to do that especially since it's $20 for a single tube. I got mine on QVC @ 2 tubes/$28 and have returned.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Fusion

I don't know how you can poke your eyes with a mascara brush & then blame it on the brush? lol I love this mascara and I've tried a lot. The wand is a teeny bit bulky but there is not clumping. And most importantly - this does not flake/smudge on me AT ALL. Many mascaras will do this on me, I don't feel like I should have to use a q-tip to improve my makeup look after spending $18-$28 on high-end mascara. On my 5th tube and will continue to purchase! Update 11/7/12*** I still am using this. I try something else out of the human "grass is greener" concept but then it always sucks and I always come back to & appreciate this that much more. It holds curl and everything..

Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel in Blacktrack

Best eyeliner I've ever tried. Goes on very smoothly and doesn't smudge or fade. I often will create a showgirl look with it and the extended line I create always holds up against my oily lids. I apply this with mac's# 266 brush. Can't wait to try the other colors!

This is a pretty moisturizing formula. Love the color and it stays on quite a while (about 3+hours) if I don't eat/drink anything. Plus, I love the smell. This is a fantastic lipgloss and I have found the perfect pink for me!!! :) The more I try MAC the more I love....

Eye Shadow -MAC - Stilife Paint

You are hearing it right with a little goes a long way with this. I applied the tiniest amount to my finger this morning and it was more than enough for both eyelids plus another. The formula really spreads out well on the skin, it thins out very easy, didn't dry out my skin and it's very pretty. As for the priming effect I've read about, I have the oiliest eyelids perhaps known to woman. But this held up better than any other primer I've tried, and I've tried a lot. I checked it at 5-6 hours and it was good but at 8 hours the oil had broken the barrier :( But still that's still great for me! I love this color and think it's a fantastic formula. Being my first MAC product I have been tempted and will definitely be checking out more of their line! Thank you MAC for a wonderful product!

Blush -Urban Decay - Score ]

I love this blush. It's been a while since I've found a blush I like (MK had one but discontinued). The SA at Sephora recommended this to me b/c I was looking for a peachy pink blush. This is perfect! It comes in a pressed form but breaks into a soft powder so easy. I literally have to just touch my brush to the powder and that's it. The staying power is pretty good too, considering how oily my skin is and how much blotting I do. I also love how they don't test on animals. This will be a definite staple of mine, please try this!

I agree with the review below - too HARSH to use on the face... the granules can break the capillaries in your skin - (didn't happen to me but beware!). I too wouldn't even use on my body, just my heels!
