Conditioner -Dove - Daily Treatment Conditioner, Intensive Repair

This conditioner in Europe has a different packaging, but the name is the same. Well. This is my favorite hair product. I have used a lot, from cheap drugstore brands to expensive organic ones. Most drugstore conditioners contain silicones which make my hair rally soft but unbelievably frizzy. The organic ones are great for a while, but after some time they would stoo being very effective. But Dove has been continuously great on my hair and scalp. I use it for washing instead of shampoo, i rinse it, and then i apply some more on my hair, I detangle and leave it there. Afterwards I squeeze-scruntch my hair in order to take off the excess and then I use a microfiber towel. After a month of using it this way my hair became soft, defined and falls nicely into place. Plus it has a great scent, sweet and fresh. PlusPlus it has a quite nice price here, 2.80 euros

Treatments -Korres - Green Silt and Corallina Oligoelements Hair and Scalp Scrub Intensive Treatment

My hair and my scalp are very sensitive to harsh shampoos, so I co wash (with dove daily conditioner these days). I also love this product for weekly use . I massage my scalp and i also put some on my hair. Afterwards I have to follow with my co-washing, or else I will be left with mud stuck on my hair, no matter how much I rinse with wate!. With the conditioner washing it all goes away though (makes the rinsed water brown-yucky, haha). In the end it is a great feeling, feels like really clean and moisturized scalp and hair. Expensive, but worth it!

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Honey

Coming from the mediterrenean, from a small island where olives and thyme are always present, I grew up with the taste and nutrients of olive oil on my lunch and of thyme honey on my breakfast. Now I am an adult and I still have them in my diet, but I am also a woman who wants to be healthy and beautiful looking. Honey is a miracle for dry skin. In winter I have a lot of dryness, and honey is my savior.I mix 1 tsp honey, 2 tsps olive oil and 1 tsp brown sugar in a small container, and tadaaa: the best moistorizing mask-scrub of the world! And what about curly dry sensitive hair? No worries. 1 tbsp of honey, 1 tbsp of oil and here is the boost I add in my conditioner every time I wash my hair. Result? Shiny, healthy voluminous curls full of life. Honey, my stomach, my skin and my hair will always love you.

Eye Shadow -Dr. Hauschka - Stone Colours Collection
rated 5 of 5
pineapple1187 11/24/2011 5:54:00 PM

I really love Dr. Hauschka's quality when it comes to makeup. This pallette is amazing and very versatile. The eyeshadows are very very soft and buildable. Sometimes when I want to travel somewhere and I cannot take my bunch of cosmetics with me, I use this pallete in the following ways: 1) I use the vanilla color as a concealer and as a lid color. 2) I use the brown shade in the crease. 3) I use the greish brown lightly as a brow filling. 4) I use the black wet with an angled brush as an eyeliner. The latter is very nice also in the waterline, quite steady and non-irritating.

Concealers -Dr. Hauschka - concealer 01

I wish i would like this concealer, but sadly I cannot... It is too thick in general, difficult to apply in the undereye area, and when you cover a blemish it looks kind of cakey. A real pity, because I really love this brand's makeup quality.

Conditioner -Aubrey Organics - Honeysuckle Rose
rated 4 of 5
pineapple1187 10/19/2011 6:58:00 PM

I got this on the mail, after making a research for co-washing products. It is very expensive to get it in Europe but i gave it a shot anyway. I'm glad I did! It is a super lovely product, highly mosturizing and gentle. I really like the ingredients list, and in addition i appreciate that it is low in protein. The smell is natural and lovely, but it is a matter of personal preference, i can see certain people disliking it. My big issue is the packaging though. I really have to put a lot of force in the squeezing, in order for *some* product to go out. I got so annoyed, that i removed the cap. But still, it was kind of hard. So, Aubrey Organics, your product you should never change, but the packaging can be a bit more helpful (maybe a bit more flexible plastic would work wonders!)

Scrubs -The Body Shop - Cocoa Butter Body Scrub
rated 5 of 5
pineapple1187 10/10/2011 4:46:00 PM

this is the first body scrub i ever used, and i am sooooo pleased with it, that i don't want to change it! ti contains powdered almond cernels, so they don't dissolve while you massage. for this reason, a little goes a long way. this product has saved me from ingrown hairs (i recently started waxing instead of shaving). the smell is great as well. it has the discreet buttery smell of the matching body butter, plus a slight bitter smell from the almond cernels. amazingly good... very expensive, but worth it.

Nice texture. I like it. Someone has to be very careful with the quantity though. The smell is very discreet, but it does not smell like chocolate to my nose. mostly like a nutty butter or so :-) all in all, i am happy to use this product. i would not rebuy it though. i'd rather try out the olive body butter next!

Conditioner -The Body Shop - Banana Nourishing Conditioner
rated 4 of 5
pineapple1187 7/11/2011 8:44:00 AM

I was looking for a silicone-free conditioner because i recently started co- washing... This is a fine product, not the best I have tried (still looking for that!) but decent enough to buy again. Like most body shop products, it smells amazing. Straight from the bottle and when you first put it on your hair smells of bananas, but when you rinse it there is a WONDERFUL banana-vanilla smell lingering on your hair all day (at least if you have dry hair like me!).

Styling Products -Korres - Bamboo Styling Cream for Curly Hair
rated 5 of 5
pineapple1187 6/26/2011 12:41:00 PM

My hair is very curly and dry. Also my curls need help in order to be defined. Korres styling cream does a great job, defines curls perfectly without making them hard on the touch. I use only a nickel size which i rub between my palms first, since the consistency is quite thick.

Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Neroli Jasmin Body Lotion
rated 3 of 5
pineapple1187 6/11/2011 11:43:00 AM

The lotion smells great once it settles on my -quite warm- skin. I tried it in a very hot day, and it was like a soft flowery breeze with a warm base note. My skin can be very naughty with anything fragrant: it just makes all the fragrance dissapear in a matter of minutes. I also agree with the lady that wrote that it smells very expensive. I want to buy this for use in my holidays! Looking forward!

Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Vanilla Body Lotion
rated 3 of 5
pineapple1187 6/11/2011 11:39:00 AM

In summer I tend to go towards body lotions instead of fragrances, So I bought this body lotion just for the smell. One of the best vanillas, smells sweet but also spicy. I would describe it as a burnt sugar and vanilla scent with hints of something spicy. It leaves a lovely projecting warmth. I have to admit this is not the most moisturizing lotion (does nothing for dry heels), but for summer it is ok. I also don't really like the parabens in it. In addition quite expensive in my country (10 euros). But what can I say, the smell is so nice that I feel really happy whenever I use it! TipTip: if your hair is dry like mine, you can rub a small drop of lotion in your hands and apply it to your hair. The fragrance is amazing and stays for long!

Lotions/ Creams -Korres - Vanilla Cinnamon Body Lotion
rated 4 of 5
pineapple1187 6/7/2011 9:30:00 AM

I really like the texture of korres body lotions. Because of the starch they leave a powdery finish that feels very clean - especially in summer. If you live in a humid tropic climate you are going to love ths. I should confess though that it is not very effective for the very dry parts of the body that need extended hydration (eg the heels). The smell is very lovely -woody cinnamon vanilla- and also very potent, but not cloying because it has a certain spiciness. I would not rebuy it in the near future because I want to try the new coconut body milk from korres, but i can picture my self missing it after a certain period of time.

Lotions/ Creams -Weleda - Mallow Body Lotion
rated 5 of 5
pineapple1187 5/30/2011 5:47:00 PM

Wow, I had fallen in love with the smell of the iris range of Weleda. When I blind-ordered Malva (or Mallow) body lotion I was not aware that it smells exactly like that! Heaven... It is a very nice product, lovely white colour, velvety texture and effective even at the driest parts fo the body. It sinks better when I have just gotten out of the shower, when I put it later it feels a little bit greasy. Some people may also feel annoyed by the alcohol in it, although I use it even after shaving and it does not hurt a bit. All in all a lovely product for people with dry body skin.
