Moisturizers -Caudalie - Premières vendanges moisturizing cream

No, no, no! It's Weleda happening all over again! Although I had faith in this moisturizer and used it a couple of times (will I ever learn?) I got a tiny spot after each use. When my skin was especially dry in the winter, I foolishly thought it could help me - but when I gently patted it on my skin, some parts of my face burnt. Yesterday in the evening I made the same mistake... I may have sensitive skin, I just didn't know that a product with such beautiful texture and gorgeous smell could cause something like this... I'm disappointed!
Lovely! But your skin has to be soft or at least well moisturized. It's how it works with me. I had very dry skin under my eyes and this foundation even more accentuated the dryness. I was looking forward to using it, but it think that Givenchy's Subli'Mine Sculpt Light is much better. And... I can't see any radiance on my skin when I apply Teint Radiance. It's matt, really. Otherwise, I kind of like it - it still looks pretty, now that my skin feels much softer.
Cleansers -Estee Lauder - Perfectly Clean Splash Away Foaming Cleanser

Perfectly Clean is an amazing cleanser - at least, it is amazing for me. Easy to use, and my skin felt refreshed. I was enjoying it all summer and autumn, but with the winter approaching, it's just not as refreshing as it was in the summer - my skin is now more dry and I had to replace Perfectly Clean with some other cleanser, sadly. I wish I could use it all year long!
I wouldn't call it a moisturizer, it's not. I use it under my daily moisturizer in the morning and gently spread it on the nose and chin. I think it works wonders! And lasts about five months or so. Good job, Chanel.
Mascara -Chanel - Inimitable Mascara Multi-Dimensionnel (Waterproof Version)

I was looking for my favorite Clinique waterproof mascara, when I stumbled upon Chanel's Inimitable Waterproof - I'm glad I did! The packaging is just perfect, it's so elegant, yet simple. Beside the fact that this mascara makes my eyes more mysterious, I also wanted to write that I've been using it on a daily basis every single day of my vacation; it lasted all day in humid weather, and in the evening I simply removed it with an eye makeup remover - without losing a lash.
I'm in a love-hate relationship with this nail lacquer. My favorite shade is Allegoria, and because I have fair skin, this slightly pink shade makes my hands a little bit darker, which I really like. I do, however, have two concerns: the brush and long drying. The brush is simply too small for me, I much prefer Collistar's brush. And long drying - I had to wait like fifteen minutes for one hand to dry... If I put these two concerns aside, it's a really nice nail color with a texture that makes my nails look soft and smooth.
Lip Treatments -Christian Dior - Creme de Rose 001

Sometimes I read the negative reviews first, but when it comes to Crème de Rose, I wish I didn't! This lip balm is so gentle and soothing, my lips are already fond of it. And the smell - I can't believe some reviewers complained about the rose smell - is barely noticeable! My lips were so dry and damaged from bad weather all week, and Crème de Rose helped me get my usual, smooth lips back - I'm so happy I purchased it.
I was very excited to use Double Wear, but the helping lady chose the wrong shade for me - which I didn't realize until the next day, when I was already done with my make up. I had a strange feeling, but since it looked sort of ok under the bathroom light, I thought I was ready to go - but luckily, my mom saved the day. Anyhow, the texture was really nice - so soft and polished.
Moisturizers -Kenzo - Creamy White Day Cream - Sparkling Face

Without a doubt, this is one of the best skin care products I've ever used; not only it's moisturizing and a great make-up base (with a little bit of help from Chanel's Purete Ideale T-Mat Shine Control), my skin also improved in all aspects when I was using this moisturizer. My skin is somewhat sensitive, so I hardly find the right skin care product for me, but this Kenzoki product was the first one that actually helped my skin. Since it's worth a small fortune (speaking of 100 Euros, which I still believe to be quite a shocker), I don't think I'll be able to purchase it anytime soon. Sadly.
Concealers -Estee Lauder - Ideal Light Brush-On Illuminator
pilon 4/30/2010 9:06:00 AM
This is not one of my favorite concealers - it's great if I use the foundation first, but I tried using it on my bare skin, and my eyes looked yellow, as if I were sick (I use the lightest shade). I rarely wear foundation in the summer, so I guess I should wait a few months before purchasing this concealer and stick to my favorite one, Dior's Skinflash.
Concealers -Chanel - Eclat Lumiere Highlighting Face Pen

I use this concealer on my bare skin and it works miracles! I use the lightest shade; what I like the most about it, is that looks so natural - it looks as I'm not wearing any concealer at all.
Shampoo -John Frieda - Brilliant Brunette Shine Release Shampoo
pilon 3/20/2010 9:02:00 AM
I've been using this shampoo for about two years and I really like it! At the beginning, it did make my hair dry and damaged a little bit, but then I also bought the conditioner from the same range. I tried using other shampoos - but I keep coming back to this one! Smells nice, too.
