Foundations -Rimmel - Wake Me Up

I got given this foundation and whilst I do love the dewiness, this just won't last on me! I don't have particularly oily skin or anything but within 4-5 hours, the lovely finish has gone and the foundation has quickly turned blotchy. Whilst this is meant to be a medium coverage foundation, I would expect it to cover up my redness and it only did after quite a few layers, but I must praise it for its blendability, colour match and how it doesn't go cakey. But overall, this foundation just didn't live up to its great claims.

Even though this is quite expensive for me, the lovely almost cocoa butter smell and definite lip plumping effect have made me a big fan! The only con is that it is a bit too sticky, but for a product that aims to enlarge lips, it sticks to its promise.

Eyeliner -Rimmel - Glam Eyes Professional Liquid Liner

This eyeliner is a very typical one for me. Some pros are that it is very very black, the applicator is fantastic and easy and the packaging is pretty nice. But, it flakes for me, dries unevenly as there are some patches drier on the line than on other parts and it's just not amazing, which is a shame. But I would repurchase due to the cheap price, easy application and intense black :)

Wow ok thank god for this foundation! For my normal/oily skin, I would always end up too cakey by the end of the day and I just wanted to look natural and so I bought this. So so easy to apply (I find it good with an ordinary foundation brush), with a quite liquidy consistency, the coverage is medium and enough to cover my redness and it tries semi-matte. I really adore this foundation, it smells slightly but I like the smell, it lasts about 6 hours and can last for perhaps 8 with my primer. For an everyday foundation that comes with a pump whilst looking natural I am so pleased! It also does suit my skin tone well, whilst hiding my awful redness! Would definitely repurchase and recommend it highly!

Liquid -Maybelline - Fit Me Foundation

For my combo to neither extreme skin, this is a light but pleasant foundation, but without powder I would look like an oil slick! I'm not too much of a fan of a dewy glow, and whilst this isn't even dewy, rather more oiley, the colour range and coverage makes it for me, a good foundation. With a bit of the same Fit Me powder, it gives me a good everyday make-up that totally blends into my natural skin tone and hides my redness without looking like my skin (although slightly 'dewy')! I'm not sure I will be able to use it in winter though, but some people claim it's broken them out whereas mine did nothing at all to my skin when I washed and moisturised my face fully! For it's light to medium coverage, easy to work with formula (good with clean fingers) and colour range, I would repurchase and for such a cheap price - plus with a pump!

I'm warning you now, this is such a negative review which contrasts so much with others, but this foundation just didn't work for me! Yes, it would stay for a really long time, which was excellent, but it would cake so quickly, without powder as well! I honestly looked like I had stuck my face in a pot of paint all day.. It didn't smell too good, would be permanently cakey and the reason I like to wear medium-high coverage foundation is because I have really really red cheeks and chin and (because of winter) my nose, yet this foundation doesn't really help cover and flakes away to the sides of my face really, and then it clings all around my eyes and makes me look like I'm wearing a lighter foundation just for my eyes?! I've tried applying it with fingers, brushes, stippling brushes and my favourite make-up sponges, but it always looks cakey, even with sponges. I'm really disappointed after reading all these amazing reviews and how it just didn't work for me. My face is normally combo/oily so I was surprised this wasn't the perfect foundation for me like it was for other people, maybe it's better if your face is more spotty than red? If this product isn't working for you, I'm now currently using Beautifully Matte by No7 and it's really good, so if anyone is having similar problems like me, try that. Feel free to message me some other good foundations please x

Liquid -Christian Dior - Diorskin Nude Hydrating Makeup SPF 10 [DISCONTINUED]

I am sorry to have rated the packaging so low, but I actually got a sample of this from a magazine so that's how I found out about it! It was in Light Beige and came in a small packet. Anyway, the texture is sort-of like a gel or cream, it's quite thick, with a good colour (for me!) and great coverage, however it has awful staying power, in fact by maybe 12 o'clock, it had started looking streaky! Also, it tends to cling to any dry areas and makes any powder put on top of it instantly caked! However, I did really like it. It smelt nice, gave great coverage and although it's out my price range, I will always try to look about for it! It also comes in some great colours. I would just have to prime more next time!
